Compared with other Type 1 connectors, this dark green MB Sturgis Type 1 connector provides the highest flow rate possible before going into bypass mode. As a result, this pigtail will help to ensure that your propane setup will be able to power all of your appliances, even if they require high-pressure gas.
Type 1 connectors go into bypass mode if the flow rate surpasses the maximum flow capacity for that connector. When maximum capacity is reached, the flow of gas through the fitting will be completely shut off. The maximum flow capacity for this dark green Type 1 connector is 200 SCFH. When the gas in the system reaches this level, a ball inside of the fitting will push an internal spring down, pressing firmly against the bottom of the fitting to shut off the flow of gas.
This MB Sturgis dark green Type 1 connector not only provides a higher flow rate compared to cylinder connectors of different colors, but it also offers a higher rate when compared with dark green cylinder connectors from other manufacturers. The MB Sturgis dark green Type 1 has been tested to ensure that it hits a maximum of 200 SCFH every time.

I especially like the level of communication and the almost immediate replies to my e-mails. I purchased a similar propane cable from "the largest e-commerce" site two months ago to use on my camper when at home. The casing already started cracking all over. This is propane! I returned it and ordered this one from e-commerce. Made in USA and the cable is Canadian. Good product. Unfortunately, I failed to order the connector that I need to connect this to my 100 LB bottle, so I will after this review. feel comfortable ordering from them
This worked very well for me. Our on board Propane tank developed a fault but by using this pigtail connected to the same system we are now able to bypass the original system and use a small portable canister

Randy - 08/06/2019I ordered the incorrect pigtail which had the wrong regulator fitting for my setup (my ignorance) so ordered a fitting adapter to covert to the correct interface and all is good.
The lp hose will allow me to use another propane tank in addition to the tanks on my trailer. The only negative is that the 1/4 " male end requires an 11 mm wrench. The hose was made in Canada.
Hose and couplings working great. No problems and no more leaks from old hose connection.
Purchased as a back up/spare. Critters have chewed them in the past. Nice to see "Made in America"
