Video Transcript for What to Know About the Low Pressure RV LP Gas Regulator

Today, we're going to take a look at the JR Products low pressure RV LP gas regulator. Now this is a low pressure regulator. It's designed for portable appliances. You can see on this end right here, it'll have a 1/4" FPT inlet connection. On the other end is a 3/8" FPT outlet connection. It does have the drip lift vent that's above the outlet.

Now when you do install this, you always want to make sure the regulator's mounted with the vent pointing down so that any water or debris will not collect in the regulator. So that'll mean with this pointing down, this will be mounted in the vertical position. You could see it will run that way. This also does have a 175,000 BTU per hour capacity and that's based on a 25 pounds per square end gauge inlet and a 9" water column. But that should do it for the review on the JR Products low pressure RV LP gas regulator..

  • Can You Replace A Black Type-1 Propane Fitting With A Green One
The color of the fittings were to signify the BTU range for the fittings, but with some manufacturers stepping out of those ranges the color really isn't as important and knowing what the BTU rating of your regulator is. Since the Type-1 Fitting would be before the regulator the flow is going to be limited to the capacity of the regulator. If you had a regulator like part # 37207-30335, which has a 175,000 BTU rating and used a fitting like # 204024-MBS, which has a 200,000 BTU rating you'd...

  • How To Add In Another Propane Line To A 2020 Tiffin Allegro Red Motorhome
There's too many variables to consider when rerouting propane so there isn't an all-in-one type of kit. Typically if you're routing permanent lines it's recommended to use a copper hard line instead of a hose so you would need a tee like # 37207-30135 to be able to connect the line. You would need a 1/4" male inverted flare fitting to whatever fitting you end up putting on the copper line. Typically a 3/8" swivel flare fitting is used on copper lines so you could get a 1/4" male inverted...

  • Parts for 40 Pound Propane Tank Connection.
The parts you are suggesting are; # 37207-31455 Propane Hose, # 37207-31525 regulator, and # 100575-15-MBS propane tank Type-1 pigtail. Looks good for two 40# tanks. If you only have one tank, then you only need one pigtail and you can use a regular regulator like the JR Products # 37207-30335 made for RV's and supporting 175,000 BTU. Select a regulator based on the application. You can email me back if you need a different sized regulator.

  • Best Regulator for 165,000 btu
When choosing the proper regulator for your applications, you want to find the closest you can get to your max btu usage. For your application, I recommend # 37207-30335 which has a 175,000 btu/hr rating. Check out the video linked below for more details. For your concerns about pressure drop, I contacted MB Sturgis to see if they had any solutions. They stated that if you are losing pressure over that distance, your best option is to use the shortest hose length possible to reach your...

  • Recommended Replacement For A Marshall 800 Propane Regulator
The Marshall 800 is showing up as a single stage 175,000 BTU regulator. Depending on the WC rating needed for the appliances you're using you can use the Low Pressure RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30335 which has a 9" WC rating and 175,000 BTU rating or the Camco Single Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59013 which has an 11" WC rating and 200,000 BTU rating.

  • Propane Regulator For 80,000 Btu Griddle
For an 80,000 Btu griddle, you need a regulator that is capable of handling that amount of flow, such as the Low Pressure RV LP Gas Regulator # 37207-30335. This is a 175,000 Btu/hr low pressure regulator, and has 1/4" FPT inlet and 3/8" FPT outlet; the connections are the other thing you will need to be aware of, as you'll need the right ones for your application. I have added a link below to a video review of this regulator, as well as to our selection of hoses so you can find the right...
