Specs:
The NOCO GB70 Boost HD jump starter provides professional grade performance in a compact and portable design. Rated at 2,000 amps (15,700 joules) of starting power, it can easily jump start gas engines up to 8 liters, or diesel engines up to 6 liters. This means it's great for cars, trucks, boats, RVs, and buses with high-displacement engines. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 40 jump starts per charge. A built-in LED work light and charging ports for 12V and USB devices make it a great addition to any job site or roadside emergency kit.
The GB70 removes the frustration of having to find or wait for someone to give you a jump. Just attach the clamps to the vehicle's battery terminals, turn the unit on, and start your engine. It's that simple.
The GB70 was designed to provide a simple, user-friendly experience. Back-lit LED indicators let you verify that the unit is operating correctly, and they allow it to be easily operated at night. These indicators signal the unit's charge status and alert you to potential performance issues or errors. This allows you to identify if the unit is too hot or cold for operation or detect a reversed polarity connection to a battery.
The touch-button interface allows you to turn the unit on or off or activate the LED work light at the push of a button. The manual override feature can be selected to jump start a deeply discharged battery, below 2-volts. It is important to remember that when this mode is activated, the unit's safety features will be disabled.
The Boost battery clamps included with the GB70 are built to handle the toughest conditions. Unlike typical, plastic battery clamps, the Boost clamps are constructed entirely of metal, ensuring maximum conductivity. The clamps are covered with an over-molded plastic housing, which makes them easy to operate even with work gloves on. And the durable 8 AWG silicone cables remain flexible in cold weather so you won't struggle while positioning the clamps.
High-tension springs in the clamps let them tightly grip top and side post battery terminals, and prevent them from slipping during use. And the clamps' large teeth provide a strong connection to the terminals.
From jumping a dead battery to changing a flat tire, the GB70 has you covered. The unit has integrated LEDs, with 3 brightness settings, which can be used as a work light in low-light conditions. It can also function as an emergency beacon. Just choose a flash pattern, SOS, blink, or strobe, and then set the unit behind your vehicle to increase visibility and safety.
The GB70 also doubles as a portable power source. The included 12V plug lets you quickly connect to accessories and enjoy 12V power on the go. For road-side emergencies, you can easily attach a tire inflator to help get you back on the road. Or bring it camping and attach a fan, coffee maker, cooler, hair dryer, or power inverter for added comfort.
The unit also has a USB port, which make it easy to charge a smartphone, tablet, camera, wireless headphones, or other device. This is great when you're in an area where power may not be readily available, like a campsite.
The table above provides a quick reference for how many times you can recharge your USB devices before the unit itself needs to be recharged.
The GB70's lithium-ion battery can be recharged from 0 to 100-percent in under 3 hours, from a 12V DC power source. Rapid charging technology allows the unit to convert energy up to 30,000 times faster than a traditional lead-acid jump starter. That means you can go from zero charge to jumping in around 15 minutes. You can easily charge the GB70 while on the go with the included 12V cable that plugs into a vehicle's aux port, or cigarette lighter socket.
The Boost Pro can also be charged from any USB-powered port, like a wall charger or laptop, but can take 7 to 28 hours to completely charge based on the amp rating of the connection.
The GB70 comes with rubber covers that seal the connection points to protect the unit from dirt, dust, and water. With the ports closed the unit has an IP65 rating, which means it can withstand multi-directional, low-pressure water jets and is completely sealed against solid particles like dust or sand.
The housing is made from tough lexan resin that protects the internal electronics against impacts. The unit can handle being dropped, kicked over, and just about anything else the work day brings with it.

Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the NOCO Genius Boost heavy duty, 2000 amp, ultra safe lithium jump starter. Now this part will include everything shown here on the table, the jump starter with these integrated, heavy duty battery clamps, micro USB cable for charging this through a USB port. Also has the XGC 12 volt male adapter, XGC 12 volt female adapter, XGC extension cable, nice user's guide, and a really nice microfiber storage bag for keeping everything in one location. This has a nice portable handheld design. It's over four times smaller, four times lighter than your traditional battery booster pack. So it only weighs about five pounds.
It's great for storing in your glove compartments, center consul, trunk, or your tool box. Now this is a multi function jump starter and USB device charger. It's designed for jump starting cars, truck, boats, and RVs and it can also be used right over here if you pop the port open. It has a USB port.So it can be used to recharge your USB devices like your smart phones, tablets, and more. It has the USB output, which is about 2.1 amps.
It is also designed to power 12 volt devices, like a tire inflator, power inverter and much more using the XGC output right here, which is about 15 amps. Now to charge the jump starter, you can use the micro USB port on the side here. It's a 2.1 amp and you just use the micro USB cable it comes with. It takes about seven hours to a full charge. Now you can actually do a faster charge using right next it the XGC port.
It's about three amps, takes only about two hours using your XGC system. It'll provide up to 40 jump starts with a single charge. It's rated for over 1,000 charge cycles and it holds the charge level for over a year with minimal power loss. Now the battery cables, they're heavy duty integrated battery booster clamps that will reach most battery post or chassis ground and they offer spark proof technology, which means usually when you're jump starting something, if your cables happen to touch each other, they'll spark. In this case, they won't do that. Now they are make with a high temperature silicone wire insulation, remains flexible down to negative 40 degrees fahrenheit and will withstand exposure to high temperatures.
Has a power button right here, allows you to turn on and off the jump starter. We're gonna do that. Let's zoom in so I can give you a closer view of it and show you what the button and lights will mean. Right here is your power button. So you just push that one and right over here, you'll see a power light come on and then it has the LED indicators right here. This will display your charge level, charge status and any errors. The charge level LEDs will give you a visual to the amount of charge on the battery. So right now, if you look at it, it'll show three buttons lit. So that's telling me 75%.Each separate LED, the first one is 25%. Second one is 50%. Third is 75% and the bigger fourth one would mean it's 100% charged. Does have an error LED right here before the other chare level LEDs. This error level is when you're connected in reverse inaudible 00:03:08 disables for thermal protection. The boost LED, which is the button right here, this will illuminate when you're properly connected to the battery. It does have a manual override button, this red button highlighted right here. This will alow you to jumpstart a battery below two volts. This button here, if you push it, hold it for about five second, that'll turn on the boost jumpstart function and you can see it's flashing there and then if you have a mostly dead battery, it'll allow you to give you a boost jump and then to turn it off, just push that button again. It does have a rechargeable eight LED flashlight right here on the end. It's great for working on your engine, changing a tire at night or warning traffic while waiting for roadside assistance. This LED flashlight output is about 400 lumens.I'm gonna show you how the light mode works. It gives you seven different light modes. We're gonna go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and I'll turn it on. Now when you do operate this, here's your light button. It shows a light bulb here. When you want to change modes, you push it each time. But you need to do it within three seconds to change the mode. If you wait longer than three seconds, it'll just stay on that last mode and then if you push it again, it'll turn it off. So I'm gonna turn off the overhead lights and try to show the seven different modes. First three are gonna be the luminosity settings of how bright the light is. So we'll turn that off. Go ahead and turn that on. There's your 100%, 50%, 10% and hit it again. There's an SOS. Hit it again. There's a blink. Hit it again. There's your strobe and you can see it's very bright and then you hit it again. It's off. So again, you do that within three seconds. You go through all the modes. If you wait longer than three seconds, the last one is what it'll stay on. Does have a built in energy saving feature, which will automatically turn the unit off after seven hours. Starting current on this is 2000 amps peak. Battery types it charges is 12 volt lead acid batteries. Internal battery in this is a 55 watt hour lithium ion batter and just to give you a dimension, oh. Turned the light on accidentally. Turn it off. We'll go ahead and turn the power off. I'm gonna zoom out a little bit here. There we go. There's your charging cables you can see here. Overall dimension on the unit itself, overall length is gonna be right at about 8 1/4" long. The width on it is right about 3 7/8" and the overall height is about 2 1/2". What I do want to do is just show you a few of the features. Again, here's your, on this end here, here's your USB port if you want to charge any device. Now the out, if you take your cable here and you plug in your XGC cable and then on the other end, you can plug it into this one and then there's your 12 volt out. So you can put any 12 volt, control any 12 volt device through that. If you do it the other way, let's show you the other port here. They have nice sealing caps to keep any . On this one, it's the in. It'll also have the USB. So you just plug your micro USB in there to charge it. But if you want a faster charge, you can take your cable again, plug in the other side and then using the other end, plug it into this one and that'll plug into your 12 volt port in your car. So you could charge this a lot faster using the XGC system. Very nice system they have here. Then we'll go ahead and put that cap back on there just like that. Then we'll go ahead and store our cables. All you have to do is they grip right onto the side there and you have a nice portable jump starter. But that should do it for the review on the NOCO Genius Boost heavy duty, 2000 amp, ultra safe, lithium jump starter.

Excellent product; it's already saved my butt from being stuck -- at a gas station, no less! Instructions were clear and concise; accessories were extremely helpful and easy to use. More drivers should have one, maybe more.

I have used my NOCO to start my truck and my Ford Tractor. The tractor was out in the brush and very difficult to get to with jumper cables. The NOCO paid for itself with the tractor because I didn't need to have a service call. You hope you don't need it often but when you do, it is a life saver. For a hundred bucks one should be standard equipment in every new car.

Have been an etrailer customer for years. As usual, my order arrived in a very timely manner. I have carried a lead acid battery type of emergency jump battery in my car for years. I purchased one for my adult daughter but, she does not carry it in her car because of it's size (she always has things in the trunk) not to mention she never remembers to charge it. I had one of the lead acid types corrode and leak acid inside the unit and ruin it. This time I purchased two of the Noco 1000A GB40 units, one for me and one for my daughter. Because of it's much smaller size, lithium battery, power output and ability to hold a charge for longer periods. maybe she will keep it in her car.

These hold a charge for months. Have used to charge devices like phones, speakers and flashlights and start my truck when “someone” left the interior light on for a week!

I've owned this unit for a full year now and used it several times. Like all of these things you have to read the actual directions, which I failed to do the first time. The unit and the boost function work great. I've jumped super dead cars, and larger trucks with it with no issues at all. The unit feels like a quality build and has a nice case. Another superb product from etrailer.

Review from a similar NOCO Genius Boost in Jumper Cables and Starters
Have had this for over a year. Takes up very little space in my car. My battery died while out of town this summer, used it to jump start my car, drove straight to an auto supply store, got a new battery - no muss, no fuss. I have AAA but this was so much easier than waiting for them to show up.

Watched my friend jump start his outboard motor with this NOCO charger. Also had ports to charge cell phone for weeks. With this hurricanes plowing through, invaluable...if power goes out.
