This unique mount from Gen-Y Hitch includes a ball mount that can be easily positioned in one of the 4 stacked receivers that sits along the plate. This dual-ball mount lets you tow a trailer with a 2" ball coupler or a 2-5/16" ball coupler.
Also included is a pintle lock, which can be inserted into the receiver directly above the ball mount to create a pintle hitch for hooking up a trailer with a lunette ring. Unlike other adjustable pintle hooks on the market, there are no nuts and bolts to remove and retorque when you change the positioning of this hitch. Just move the ball mount and pintle lock up or down to get the proper height and secure them in place with the included pins.
With the 4 stacked receivers, not only do you have the ability to adjust the height of the included ball mount, but you also have the ability to add various other hitch-mounted accessories.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Gen Y bolt on adjustable receiver plate. Now the bolt on adjustable hitch can be used in many different applications. This is ideal for dump trucks, custom beds, semis, or really any heavy-duty application. It adapts to any bumper style trailer on the market, including pencil style couplings. The unit features a 21,000 pound towing capacity, and it does come with the penton lock for towing trailers that have linett rings, and it also includes the versive ball mount, which provides a two-inch and a 2 5/16 inch ball.Now the ball mount is very easy to switch around if needed. So what you need to do is simply take out the pin and clip, and then you can take the versive ball mount out, you can rotate it, reinsert it, and that's how you switch between the 2 5/16 inch and two-inch ball.
You can also insert it this direction as well. It's got the four pin hole design so you can really switch it and then reinsert it in any orientation. And it will fit into any one of the four slots available. You always wanna be sure to re-secure it by installing the included pin and clip.And then you have the penton lock right here, which would secure the linett ring to the unit on trailers that have that. That can be removed as well.
So you're just gonna take out the pin and clip, and then it actually has two positions, the in-use position and then the stowed or connecting position, and it can also be all the way removed if you don't wanna use it at all. Now the penton lock is only to be used in conjunction with the 2 5/16 inch ball, so please keep that in mind. This unit offers a drop and rise range of nine inches, so from the inside top edge of this slot to the inside top edge of this the bottom slot is nine inches, and that's adjustable in three-inch increments, so that really allows you to move the ball mount up or down to ensure that your towing setup is always as level as possible.So you have the four adjustable positions and each slot has an opening of 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. This product will accept standard accessories with 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 shanks. It's fabricated with heavy-duty steel, and it's precision mill and drilled for a perfect look and fit.
When it comes to the coating on the unit, it features the zinc primer and epoxy powder coat finishing, which keeps it safe and protected from the elements and from rust and corrosion. This unit is also compatible with the Gen Y weight distribution system, which is sold separately and available at etrailer.com if you're interested in checking that out. It's made in the USA. The back plate right here measures 6 1/2 inches wide by 15 1/2 inches tall. The mount holes are separated on center side to side by 4 1/2 inches and up and down by 4 1/2 inches.
And the overall depth from very back of the unit to very front of the unit, including the ball, is nine inches deep.That's gonna do it for today's look at the Gen Y bolt on adjustable receiver plate.
