Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a 3 Position Pintle Hook Mount for 2-1/2" by 2-1/2" trailer hitches. This Pintle Hook mount slides into a 2-1/2" opening to provide a mounting plate for a variety of Pintle Hooks and combination hitches.The Pintle Hook mount features four pairs of mounting holes, which offers a 3-position mount. We have position 1, position 2, and position 3.The strong, durable carbide steel construction features nice, continues welds and a black powder coated finish to resist rust and corrosion.Now the overall length of the unit from very front to very back is about 11-1/4". The holes here on the front are spaced apart on center by 3-3/8" side-to-side. Then up and down, the hole separation on center is 1-3/4". The plate has an overall width measurement of 5" and then an overall height measurement, right here at the center, it's about 7-1/8".
I also took a measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the front of the mounting plate and got a measurement of 8-1/2".It can be used in either the drop position or the rise position, so whatever works best for your application or whatever you need.The maximum gross trailer weight capacity is 20,000 pounds. The maximum vertical load, or tongue weight, is 3,000 pounds for this unit.That's going to do it for today's look at the 3 Position Pintle Hook Mount for 2-1/2" hitches.
