Handheld tuner gives your truck/SUV significant hp and torque gains, with better fuel economy, too. 2.8" Color, hi-res screen with d-pad lets you access pre-loaded tunes, monitoring capabilities, DTCs, and calibration settings.The service of e-trailer has been great, and once programmed the device seems to be good (I am yet to put many miles on the truck to see if it does as advertised). The problem with the device is the upgrade software. It took me more than 8 hours to finally get the device upgraded. The design of the software leaves a lot to be desired and the device kept timing out during the upgrade process that rendered the device useless and required a complete restart of the upgrade process. If you buy the device and decide to upgrade it as suggested then you need to have high speed internet, turn off all virus and firewall protection, and be patient because the software does not respond quickly and sucks up all of the computer resources so don't do anything else during the upgrade process. This is no fault with etrailer who were better than responsive in getting the order out and delivered.
It's ok but theres alot better tuners out there this didnt even have a 93 octain tune so my suggestion is pick a different tuner
If I would have known that when I wanted performance and or heavy towing I was going to have to use 91 octane, I might not have purchased the product..... I can't decide if its worth the extra cost of 91 octane gas.....
