Today we're going to review part number P10030. This is the Putco High Power 27 LED Luminix Off-Road Light Bar with a total of 81 watts and a pattern of a 15 degree spot pattern. This part includes everything shown here on the table; it includes the light bar, wiring harness, illuminated switch and the long and the short mounting brackets, and the installation hardware which is on the end already to install the brackets. This low profile LED light bar will deliver a bright focus light. The pattern it gives off is a 15 degree spot beam, which is created by the chrome backed focus in there. It is a very slim design, as you can see, so this will let you install this light bar in very tight spaces. It has a very high quality light output from this single row of 27 3 watt Nichia LED's. This light bar can be turned on and off also with a wireless remote. We do sell that separately on our website, part number P8770F.

The LED's they use are a quality LED, have a 50,000 hour life span. They do have some build in safeguards on this light bar. They used thermal controlled chips to help prevent the LED's from over heating. Then they have over and under voltage protection, which will keep the light bar operating at the correct voltage. As you can see it's a very durable, waterproof, corrosion resistant construction, uses black anodized billet aluminum housing, is very light weight and rust proof. The mounting brackets that are used that attach on the ends here are a black powder coated stainless steel bracket to help resist corrosion. These LED's you can see, they're actually fully potted to protect the fragile components of the LED.

It gives you industry standard protection against dust and moisture. It's a very easy installation with these included parts. You can mount this light bar on your roof, your roll bar, your bumper, your grill guard, your bull bar, and it gives you a nice rugged look. The two sets of brackets, the long and the short, are all included. We do also sell some custom mounting brackets which are sold separately. They're usually listed as a related product with this part number.

The wiring harness itself comes with this illuminated switch that we attach to it and it comes with the plugs into the light bar is the industry standard Deutsche connector. What's nice about that, it has a nice triple seal on it. It makes it water proof when you make your connection. This part is made in the U.S.A. The specs on this, has 27 diodes. They are three watts each so a total wattage of 81 watts.

Power draw is 6.75 amps. The input voltage 12 volts to 36 volts DC. It operates at temperature range of -100 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It does have a limited two year warranty. The output on the lights themselves, the brightness is 10,800 lumens, the beam that I mentioned before is a narrow 15 degree spot and the color temperature of the light is 6,000 degrees Kelvin. The dimension on this, the length is about 31-1/2" long by 1-1/2" tall and about 3/4" deep. It does come with a set of pretty good instructions that'll show you how to make your connections. What I'm going to do now on the wiring harness that has the relay right here, this end has the Deutsche connector that plugs into the light bar, right here these three wires will go on to the illuminated switch and then this wire has a inline fuse holder and then the two wires for the power and the ground. What I'm going to do, is got a 12 volt power supply here so I am going to plug this in. We're going to go ahead and plug in the Deutsche connector. What's really nice, when you go to plug this in you can feel it's a very tight, snug fit and it clicks into place, gives you that weather proof seal. Then what we're going to do before we plug it in I'm going to hook up this illuminated switch. That's what this end is with the three wires, it gives you a red, blue and a black. Basically the directions tell you the red will go on number 1 terminal, so if we look at the very back here there's the number 1, that right there, so we'll put the red on 1. The blue goes on the middle 2. The black will go on the number 3. So your terminals are all put on and then you can see it operates like that. Now what I'm going to do is hook up the power so we got the black wire which is the ground, we're going to hook that to the ground. We're going to take the red wire, that would be your power wire, have that hooked up, let's get it untangled here. There we go. Got that hooked up. Then what we'll go ahead and do is I'm going to turn off the over head lights, with the lights off we're going to go ahead and turn on the power and with the power on I'm going to show you. Just turn your switch on, you can see it's illuminated and you'll see it switches on your . let me show you the brightness. See how bright it is, a total of 81 watts. What I'm going to try to do here is rotate it around and show it on the back wall just so you can get an idea. If we show it on the back wall there you can see the type of light it gives off, the 15 degree spot pattern and again very bright. Again, here's your illuminated light switch, just turn it off. I'll go ahead and turn on the over head lights, turn off the power.
