Westin's R7 nerf bars make the trip from your vehicle's door to the ground a smooth transition. The bars' straight-style design and squared edges offer a rugged look, and the 7" width provides greater stability than narrower round bars.
Injection-molded covers conceal the mounting brackets used to install the step bars for a seamless, from-the-factory appearance.
Extra-wide step pads allow you and your passengers to safely step out of your vehicle. The grooves in the UV-resistant, injection-molded polymer pads provide traction and direct water away from the surface of the bars to help prevent slipping.
No need to worry about rust on these nerf bars. Not only are they constructed of rustproof 304 stainless steel, but the black molded plastic endcaps also keep out moisture to help prevent internal corrosion.
Installing the bars is easy. A mounting kit is included, featuring custom brackets that bolt onto existing holes in your vehicle's rocker panels - no drilling necessary.

The fit and finish of the end caps are terrible. This company Westin should be ashamed to offer such nice nerf bars at the premium price they cost for the quality I received I’m not happy. Etrailer is great. This company Westin want even respond to my emails. The end of the bars looks like they’ve been cut off with a die grinder the plastic caps do not fit. These are for my new 2022 Chevy 2500 I thought I was buying premium running boards.

Thanks for reaching out about this. I have sent your information to our customer service team and they should be able to assist you further in getting this straightened out.
Sturdy, solid, and not slick when wet.
I really like these bars. I installed on a regular cab. They were long enough to reach to rear wheel wells.Had to fabricate reinforcement for rear bracket, but they work well and make side of bed access easy now. They are the black ones. All the front brackets attached to factory provided holes.
Good quality running boards. Straight forward install. No problems after 1 year of use. Work well for paint protection as well as a step for entry. In the pictures the truck is dirty and the running boards still look great. I would definitely buy them again.
product is good and everything fits wells. Instructions are poor on how to install cert nuts if your don't have them included. I had to review a separate [online] video to figure out how to install the cert nuts. Everything else went smoothly.
It fit perfect. I really like it.
Ordered two sets for two trucks. Both sets arrived damaged by UPS. Driver threw the packages to the rear and same board in both packages dinged. Not a huge deal to me as it was not visible when on the truck. Not an etrailer problem. Boards are great and perfect size for easy ingress and egress with work boots on.
Easy installation, good instructions. Well made, everything fit like it should.

With this photo it is hard to see the rust that is mentioned. I recommend rinsing down the bars with freshwater periodically. While stainless steel is tough, it can corrode when exposed to damaging chemicals, saline, grease, moisture, or heat for prolonged periods of time.
