Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at Etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at the Westin Sure-Grip line of running boards. Now this is available in three different colors. We have brushed aluminum here. There's also a black aluminum as well as a bright anodized aluminum.

Now, this can fit a variety of different trucks and SUVs and to ensure that you have the proper fit for your vehicle you're gonna want to use our fit guide on etrailer.com to make sure that you're getting the proper parts. Now, all of the sure-grip will look pretty close to this minus your color differentiation but you're going to have this nice rubber patch here and it's gonna be custom to your vehicle based on the brackets that actually mount up. So it's gonna make installation super easy for your vehicle. This sure-grip line gets its name from this four and a half inch wide rubber track here that runs the entire length of the board. And it's gonna give you extra grip as you step up here.

So even in wet conditions, these grooves will actually channel that out, making sure that you have proper grip when stepping up here and that's gonna make it easy for you and your family to be able to get into the vehicle without having to jump in there. I have little ones, and sometimes, it's hard for them to hop in the back of the truck. So having these running boards gives them that little extra step to get in place. The rubber is UV resistance so it shouldn't fade or crack over time. And it's gonna give you that sure grip every single time.

It's also aluminum construction. So not only is it gonna be lightweight and durable, but that's also gonna resist corrosion for a long time to come. The black molded end caps provide a finished look and they also help protect the boards from any internal corrosion as well. There's also a light kit that you can add to your running boards. It is sold separately but that's gonna be nice at nighttime when you need to step up here, you'll actually be able to see where it's at and it also gives a cool aesthetic look as well.

Now, when you choose the custom kit for your vehicle it's gonna come with a running board for each side as well as the brackets to be able to mount it up to your specific vehicle. There's a bunch of different applications available. So whether you have a crew cab, an extended cab or an SUV, there's a running board for your vehicle. Looking at what some of our customers that have bought these have said, they're all very happy with the fact that they've held up over time and they look just as good as the day they installed them. The installation's also super easy with just hand tools. So that's also something that's very nice. So this is not exactly something you use for protection as far as offroading. So that's gonna be more of a Nerf bar and that we have plenty of options of those from Westin as well. These are simply going to be for that utility to be able to step into your vehicle then also look good in the process..
