Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Husky Liners mudflaps. So this kit's gonna come with both the driver and passenger side for the back, but also the driver and passenger side for the front as well. What's great for this is, especially if you have some of those wider tires or just knobby tires, like we have here, we're gonna start throwing rocks up and stuff, it's gonna start chipping away at our paint. And if we're hauling anything fun behind us, whether it's just mowers or even just a cool side-by-side, it's gonna start sparking rocks all the way back there and it's just gonna chip up everything. So just taking a little bit of time to install these, just to protect your truck and anything else behind you is definitely a no brainer for me. Both the front and the back are just gonna bolt right up to your OEM holes that are already there, they're already threaded.
It comes with hardware and everything so it's super easy to install. But as you can see, all you need to do is just do a couple of them and you're good to go. And these are a lot wider and a lot longer than some of the other ones you may be seeing on our website. I kinda liked that just because these aftermarket wheels do have a different offset, so they stick out a little bit farther. So with that, then you're gonna get just sprayed mud, rocks, snow, all sorts of stuff on the side of your truck.
But with this, it's gonna do a great job of kinda preventing that even with larger tires. That was our goal here, my dad, he got these bigger wheels and bigger tires, and he noticed a lot of debris and stuff after he just washed his truck. So this is just gonna keep your truck a lot cleaner, a little bit longer, and protect it from chips and stuff, but also not just the paint, but also your running boards. So they're not gonna get all nasty or anything like that. So that is something I really like with these they're made of a impact resistant thermal plastic.
So one, they're not gonna fade over time, two, they aren't really gonna crack or chip for a long, long time. If you have very, very hot weather, it's not gonna really affect it. And if you have really cold weather too, it's not gonna affect it. You can see this line right here, they look OEM it is a perfect, perfect fit and that's exactly what we're looking for. When it comes to mud flaps your options are you can have some thermoplastic covers or you can also just get some that are rubber.
But if I we're to compare the Husky's anything, I would compare them to WeatherTech. The only difference between the WeatherTech's is it does have a little bit more of a, molding difference, it basically just sticks out a little bit farther, which I don't necessarily like. I mean, as you can see, this is a flat and this one just comes out a little bit more. I don't think it's gonna really change it at all I'd rather just not have that I'd rather just have the flat look, but that's just my opinion. But it's literally gonna be made of the same exact stuff it's gonna install the same exact way. So if you're choosing between the two, I like the Husky's. It took me maybe two minutes to install these, so if you want to see how quick that process is you can go ahead and stick around, we're gonna show you. Whether you're replacing your mud flaps or just putting some on, it's always smart to kinda clean this up. So go ahead and kinda spray this down, let it sit a little bit, get a short towel or something to wipe it off. Just wanna keep it as clean as possible because we will be covering this up. And the more dirt and grime we get off before we kind of seal it up the better, it's just gonna prevent rusting and that's, always something we want to avoid with any vehicle. So now that that's clean, and it's gonna be perfect for putting on our little strips. So we're gonna have two here, basically just tear em apart, you're gonna have one for the right and the left. And this is gonna go right on this little edge right here, but I'm not gonna do it today, just because these are not staying on my dad's truck, but you can just go ahead and do that. And then once that's done, it's pretty simple, it's just a sticker. Then we can kinda line this up make sure you have the right sides, of course. And literally all you gotta do is just kind of line it up, it does come with the hardware. So, once we kinda get that in there, we can go ahead and take a little Phillips head and screw all these in. In this case, I am replacing mudflaps that are already on here and they weren't OEM, so we don't have the same pitch, when it comes to our hardware that was on there when I pulled the old ones off. So, that is the reason why I'm just gonna use the original hardware, but it does come with it if you need to use them. So I'm just gonna use the original hardware. And we're gonna have one, two, and three different holes on the front. So we can do the same exact thing for all of our different ones and then do the same thing for the other side. So once we have the front done we're gonna do that same exact process on the back wheel wheels. Now we can take the remaining of our sticker that we used in the front, and we can install on the back, but I actually already have one on the back, so I'm not gonna install it, but this is exactly where it would go, right there. It's just gonna protect this from kind of rusting out, since it is gonna have a decent amount of water there. And now that that's all clean and the stickers on there just grab the right side and pretty straight forward, just go ahead and line up the holes and screw them in with a little Phillips. I like to kinda get them nice and snug, but not all the way until I get the rest of them in. And on the back ones, we're gonna have 1, 2, 3, and 4. And the hardware that comes with it, and start again. Now that they're all in there, I'm gonna go ahead and tighten all these down. Everything is nice and snug. And that is it for this side we just have to do the same thing on the other. And that'll do it for our look at the Husky Liner custom fit mudflaps..

The mudflaps installed easily for the most part. I still have to drill some holes for the rear mudflaps. I need a right angle drill, so I don't have to remove the dually wheels in order to drill the holes. These seem nice and sturdy and well made. I am not sure of the length of the rear flaps yet, seems they should be longer than they are. Good product, haven't tried them out yet to see if they deflect debris well. I am hopeful.

I installed these Mud guards on a 1996 GMC Dually with factory dually flares. They fit and look like they belong with the factory dually flares - exceeded my expectations. All I did was slot two holes to allow for factory variances in panel fit (occurs on all vehicles) and I replaced the supplied sheetmetal screws with stainless quarter inch bolts/nuts for stronger attachment points. Very easy installation. This fit and custom look is far better than flaps blowing in the wind. Highly recommended!

Super easy and fast install. Look great. Covers tire tread. Mounted without even having to turn or remove wheels. Removed factory screws, placed guards into position with holes which lined up exactly and re-installed screws. Very pleased with Husky product and etrailer service. Will be ordering fronts now.

Perfect fit for the S10 ZR2 with factory flares; uses one of the factory mounting screws and then you drill two new holes. Took about an hour to install as I removed the tires. Will have to see how they hold up to the wind - may come back and add a little silicone adhesive for extra security.

It took me less than 5 minutes to put both mud flaps/splash guards on my Lincoln MKX. This should stop the front tires from spraying water all over the side of my car. I originally tried to get Ford mud flaps but they don't make molded ones like these. They look great. etrailer was great in getting out to me and following up. Good product and great supplier.

Decent product, quality seems to be there, was able to install with front wheels still on, only thing that would have made it a better deal is if there were speed nuts for all the screws,I went to harbor freight and bought some

Another great experience at etrailer. After quite a bit of research, decided on the Husky Mud Flaps. Came with full instructions, and after confirming the fit, I had all 4 installed in a couple hours. They look great, and more importantly, they will do the job of keeping most of the rocks and mud off of my 2018 Ram 3500.

Website was good about choosing which mud flaps were right for the vehicle. I ordered, and within minutes received a phone call from etrailer saying they were on back order and would be shipped on a certain day. Sure enough, they were. The flaps are far better quality than came from the dealer (the back ones). Instructions are easy, and the flaps fit exactly on my truck, and very easy to put on. Holes matched perfectly, and they're on in just a few minutes.

These are what was promised. Easy mounting, all the screw holes matched up and the fit was exact. The flaps are full width (of the stock tires). There were no burrs or plastic shavings to be dealt with. They very road use durable (haven't tested them off road) and do what a mud flap is meant to do.
