Rigid, Heavy-Duty Mud Flaps

These truck or trailer mud flaps are 3/16" thick and constructed of polymer, or hard plastic, which is more rigid than rubber and won't sail in the wind. The durable construction can withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps won't get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice. And despite being more stiff than rubber, these flaps still have enough give to bend rather than break if they hit something on the road.

Easy Installation

If you're simply replacing your mud flaps and you already have mounting brackets in place, just line up the pre-drilled holes on these flaps with your mounting plate and reuse your existing hardware. If the holes don't quite line up, you can easily drill new ones.

If you're installing mud flaps for the first time, you'll need to purchase mounting plates (sold separately) and weld them onto your truck or trailer to create attachment points for the flaps. To ensure the most secure attachment, add on bolt hole reinforcement plates (337MFW2375) to keep the flaps from tearing away from the mounts.

Video Transcript for Comprehensive Review: Truck Mud Flaps-337RC30PPB

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at these truck mud flaps. Now, these truck or trailer mud flaps are 3/16ths of an inch thick, and they're constructed of polymer or hard plastic, which is going to be more rigid than rubber, and they're not gonna sail in the wind. The durable construction can withstand subfreezing temperatures, so these flaps are not gonna get brittle when the rain turns to snow and ice. And despite being more stiff than rubber, these flaps still have enough bend and give that they're going to flex rather than break if they hit something on the road.

So, these flaps are gonna do a great job of shielding your vehicle, your towed cargo, and other cars from rocks and grime and road debris. They're going to protect your boat, your car, your snowmobile, your ATV, your fifth wheel trailer, and other towed gear. And they're gonna create a barrier between your tires and wheel well to prevent that mud and that salt and snow buildup. Let's give you some dimensions here just so you have a good idea of the size. So, looking at the overall width, we're sitting at 24 inches wide.

And then looking at the height, we're pretty close to 30 inches tall. And then, if you are wondering about the distance between those mounting holes, it might be kind of hard for you to see there at that distance. But measuring on center, it's gonna be 7 inches in between each of those holes. Now, if you're simply replacing your mud flaps, or you already have mounting brackets in place, you're just going to line up the pre-drilled holes on these flaps with your mounting plate and reuse your existing hardware. This does not include any hardware whatsoever.

You're just going to receive these two flaps. But if the holes don't quite line up, you can easily drill new ones. And now, if you're installing mud flaps for the first time, you will need to purchase mounting plates. Those are sold separately. But on your screen, I am including the model number for those reinforcement plates.

And what you'll do is you'll just weld them onto your truck or trailer to create attachment points for these flaps. So, to ensure the most secure attachment, you're just going to add a bolt hole reinforcement plates that you see there on your screen. And what those plates are gonna do, in case you don't know, is they're going to help keep these flaps from tearing away from your mounts. And because of the size, these are going to be large enough or wide enough for most of your dually tires as well. So, you kinda see the flex there. So they are rigid, but they're gonna be flexible for you. And I think they're gonna hold up really well for you as well. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that our time together was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Received the product as promised. The packaging of the product for shipping was A+++.
The flaps are just as advertised.
Can't beat the quality and price.
Would definitely purchase again and inform others of etrailer products.

by:

Good mud flap had to trim a bit to fit my rv. Not easy to cut really tough material!

by:

The flaps have done what they were supposed to do. However they are made of a very stiff material and after owning them for a while they have started to curl on both corners. They are no longer hanging flat and look a bit unsightly.

Shipped fast exactly what we ordered Thank You!

  • How to Keep 24" Wide Mud Flaps From Blowing in the Wind
The 24" x 30" Truck Mud Flaps # 337RC30PPB weigh in at about 4 lbs a piece which means they'll be heavy duty but they won't necessarily be completely still when you're driving. What I recommend to help out with this are the Anti-Sail Brackets # 337405BZ. These are brackets that provide bracing around the mud flaps to help keep them from moving while you're headed down the road. Attached is a review video for you to check out!
