Today we're taking a look at a Snap-Loc loop strap with S-Hook. Now this heavy duty strap with the S-Hook end is designed to simply secure truck and trailer ramps, and is great for all types of tie-down applications. So again, this is commonly used to secure a truck or trailer ramp to the vehicle or to the trailer. So that way when you're going up the ramp, the ramp doesn't kick out from underneath you.It features the rigid polyester webbing construction, so it will not snap back like nylon straps. This end features the S-Hook. So if we're using this on a vehicle to secure ramps to the tailgate of the truck, what we would do is we would use this, and maybe secure it to the anchor point near the trailer hitch.

And then the other end of the strap has a loop on it. So what we could do to create a loop tie-down, is we can simply take the rest of the unit through here. And then we've just created a nice tie-down. This can secure to one of the rungs on the actual truck or trailer ramp.So a loop is a very effective way to create a anchor point for the strap. It's very safe, very versatile.

So that's why they put a loop on this end. Now, the loop can also slide into an anchor point. So if you have a hook shape anchor point, you can slide it in and use it that way as well.And then in the middle here, we have the cam lock buckle. This is basically a cinch design, so that means that you can pull this out to tighten. And then to release, you have to press the release lever to loosen the tension.

It will not backfeed unless that release lever is engaged.So overall, it's a really nice design on this side of the cam buckle on the S-Hook end, that's about a 12" lead. The buckle's designed to hold the strap tight. The strap measures one inch wide. Total length is around four feet long. Maximum load or break strength rating is 1,500 pounds.

Safe working load limit is 500 pounds.It also has a sewn-on hook and loop fastener, so this allows for easy storage. So that way when your strap's not being used, you can roll it up, bundle it together, place it in here, bring this around, and secure it.
