This waterproof, ABS plastic marine speaker will be protected from the elements. If it's raining at your camping spot or if you're taking the pontoon boat out on choppy waters, the speaker is IP55-rated so it'll be protected against dust and low-pressure water jet spray. The housing is also UV resistant, so it won't crack and fade in the sun. And the Climatesmart and Vibrationsmart technologies make sure the speaker will work in harsh boat and RV conditions, whether the temperature is below freezing or scorching hot, or if you're traversing over rocky terrain that might cause excess shock and vibration.
There are 2 main dimensions you need to know when choosing a replacement speaker or adding a new speaker or speakers to your audio setup: cut-out diameter and mounting depth.
The cut-out diameter is the width of the circle needed to ensure the speaker mounts flush to the wall or ceiling.
The mounting depth is the depth needed behind the mounting surface for the speaker's frame and magnet structure to fit.
This speaker is incredibly easy to install as an upgrade or a direct replacement of your existing speaker. Because it has a low-profile, recessed design, you will need to cut out a 4-3/8" diameter hole if you're not directly replacing a speaker. Then, using mounting hardware (not included), bolt this speaker onto your boat, RV exterior, or anywhere else you need it. The speaker has a 2-wire design that hooks up to ground (black wire) and power (red wire).

Today, we're going to take a look at the Furrion 30 watt recess mount Marine speaker with an LED ring. Now, this outdoor speaker will project sound from your TV or radio on your boat, RV, or camper. It is a dual cone design which features a dome tweeter and a polypropylene woofer cone. The dome tweeter increases high frequency sound distribution and a woofer cone produces the base sounds and internal dampening.Has a nice LED ring inside the speaker that'll give a nice blue glow to the speaker. I am going to hook this up at the end of this video just to show you how bright that is. It's made of a durable AVS plastic construction.
It is UV resistant and water-proof. It is a simple bolt on installation. Now, the mounting hardware to install this is not included. It's a black color.Few specs on this. The woofer diameter is going to be, the inside portion right at five inches.
Maximum voltage on this is 30 watts. The impedance is four ohms. Sensitivity is 85 decibels. Frequency response is a 120 Hertz to 20 Kilohertz. It is for quality of one speaker.Few dimensions on this.
Overall dimension from edge to edge is going to be right at six inches. Total depth front to back is right at two and one eighths inches deep. Now, the cut out diameter since this is a recess mount, the portion that you need to have cut out that this will fit into, cut out diameters going to be right at four and three eighths inches. The mounting hole spacing, in other words the mounting hole center to center, is right at three and fifteen sixteenths of an inch.So, again, here's your black and red wire for your LED ring. We're going to go ahead and hook that up.
I got some 12 volt power here. Go ahead and hook that up. And, once we get it all hooked up, what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn our power on and you'll see the ring come on. What I'm going to do is go ahead and turn off the overhead lights, so it gives you a nice, you can see the blue glow from the LED lights inside the speaker.We'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. But, that should do it for the review on the Furrion 30 watt recess mount Marine speaker with the LED ring.

Had to send them back. That said return was a breeze.
Very nice speaker, the mud wasps can’t get through the grille like the factory speakers
