Today we're going to take a look at the Furrion White Round 50 Amp Marine Power Inlet. Now this round marine power inlet will let you hook up to shore power using your power cord.It has a nice quick lock cap to keep the inlet dry. On the very front of the cap here you can see this little power smart LED on the cap. That will indicate when power is present at the plug. It does a marine grade fiber filled polyester outer casing. Gives us nickel plated brass pins to help resist corrosion on the terminals.
And it is a universal fit, it's compatible with other brands. It has a bolt on insulation. It does include the rubber gasket that you can put on there and then install it.This is tested to marine UL 498 and CSA C22.2 standards. Notice it's a nice white color. A few specs on this the amperage is 50 Amps, voltage is 125/250 volts.
You can see the lid just opens up, stays open, you can plug it in, and then when you snap it shut it gives you a nice locked cap there. To open it up it does require a little bit of force to get it open because it does lock very securely. And then you'll notice right here on the back there's two screws on the inside there that you can remove and it will all slide off to make your wiring connections and then slide it right back on. But that should do it for the review on the Furrion White Round 50 Amp Marine Power Inlet.
