Today we're gonna be taking a look at the tow-ready Lynette 00:00:04 ring. This Lynette ring is designed to couple with a pencil hitch, it's a bolt-on installation. Bolts to the front of your trailer. It's gonna feature your pre-drilled nine holes that provide simple installation, and your mounting hardware is included as well as a detailed set of installation instruction. That's gonna go through how to get those installed, how to tighten them down the torque rating and so forth. On the backside, it's got a nice smooth mounting area that allows for flush mounting to flat surfaces. The unit's constructed of a solid steel construction that has a black powder-coated finish on it.
It's very strong and durable, and it's gonna do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. The weight capacity for this Lynette ring is forty two thousand pounds. The diameter of the hole, inner diameter right there, that's gonna give us a measurement of around two and a half inches, measuring from this point here to the same point on the other side. That's gonna give us a measurement of around five and a half inches. Take a measurement, the distance that we have between our mount holes, going on center. It's a square design, so it should be the same all the way around. Center on center going this direction, four and a half inches.
Center on center going this direction, that's also gonna measure four and a half inches. Now, each one of those holes is gonna have a diameter of five-eighths of an inch. The mounting base measuring edge to edge here at the center, it's gonna measure about six and five-eigths of an inch. Measuring this direction, that's gonna measure about six inches, edge to edge. I also took an overall depth measurement from the very back of the unit to the very front, and got a depth of about six and five-eighths of an inch. When it comes to the thickness of the Lynette ring, so as you're looking at it, measuring the height, from this point here to this point here, that gave us a measurement of an inch and a quarter.
Then the width, so from inside edge to outside edge, that gave us a width measurement of about an inch and a half. The product's also covered with a limited lifetime warranty. That's gonna do it for today's look at the tow-ready Lynette ring.

Lunette ring fit my trailer perfectly and the ring itself fits all of my pintle hooks. This is a perfect sized ring for the strength rating.
