Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at the Titan Lunette Ring With Five Position Adjustable Channel. This is going to be a great attachment for hauling any kind of heavy duty trailers, whether that's on the farm, or on the job site. It's a pretty simple install. You can weld the bracket to the mounting surface, since it does have a plain raw finish, or you can also bolt it in place.
It doesn't come with any bolting hardware, but there are several holes here, so if that's an option, you can utilize that as well.But welding is also very possible. The lunette ring itself, is coated with an inaudible 00:00:38 to help prevent any kind of kind of rusting and corrosion, with that attachment point. And, this is going to also offer us with five adjustment points. So right now, I have it at the lowest setting, but then we can bump it up there. So that's two, three, four, five adjustments.
Each one of those holes is two inches apart. So as we raise it, we're going up in two inch increments. Put a ruler on it, so you can see. So, it's going to be a very sturdy ductile, iron construction.The channel that our lunette ring sits in, is about two and three quarters inches wide. From outside edge to outside edge, it's three and three quarters.
The lunette ring from outside edge to outside edge is about six inches wide. The inner hole diameter there, so the space in between, is three inches in diameter. And then the thickness of our ring, is one and five eighths inches.It's a heavy duty design, so we shouldn't have to worry about any failure over time. When I've worked with customers on this, they say it lasts for a long time, and that it gives them years of service. So, should be a great addition to your trailer.
As far as some other measurements for you here, it measures about 12 inches tall for the channel, and our hardware is going to be a grade five bolt, which should be plenty to haul anything that we might throw at this. It does have a weight capacity of 20,000 pounds.The adjustment hole diameter is five eighths of an inch, and it does come with the two bolts again, grade five, and then the two lock nuts to get that in place. It comes with a one year limited warranty from Titan, and that's going to do it, for our look at the Titan Lunette Ring with Five Position Adjustable Channel.

It's kinda bigger would not fit in my pino set up but fit fine with my buddy's It would not go over my ball bc it was hitting the back of the resever and the de ring doesn't come with grade 8 bolts if it's rates for 20,000 I would think you would want the the grade 8 for shearing purposes but I think it is well made I don't regret buying

- Lunette Ring Solution for Towing Trailer with 10 inch Vertical Height DifferenceBest option would be to remove the lunette ring you have on your trailer and then install the Titan Lunette Ring w/ 5-Position Adjustable Channel # T4840500 in it's place as this gives you 12 inches of vertical adjustment that you could use to position the ring where it would allow your trailer to be towed level.
