Hello everybody, this is Jeff at Etrailer. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bolt-On 3-Inch Diameter Curt Lunette Ring Drawbar. Has a 25,000-pound weight capacity. Now this lunette ring is designed to couple with a pintle hitch. The 3-inch inside diameter ring. Lift this up here, and you can see 3-inch diameter ring right there.
This will fit onto pintle hooks, ball and pintle combinations, or even clevis bars. It is a bolt-on installation. Now the hardware to install it is not included. You can see it as a nice, flat design. Has the 5/8-inch diameter pre-drilled mounting holes, so it allows the drawbar to bolt quickly and easily to the trailer tug.
It is a strong, solid, forward steel construction. Does have a corrosion-resistant black powder coat finish on it for protection. As we mentioned, the weight capacity for this is 25,000 pounds. Few measurements. The overall length from one end to the other end, we put a tape measure on it, it's gonna be right at about 20 inches including the ring.
If we just measure the bar by itself, the length is right about 14 inches. The width right about three inches wide and the overall height about 1 5/8 inches thick. I bought this to upgrade an old trailer with a clevis hitch. I wanted something strong to haul my 1927 Caterpillar on the trailer. My plan was to weld and bolt the piece on.
