Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.Today we're going to take a quick look at the Sew-In RV Slide Tape. This is going to allow you to hang your curtains up in your RV. It's going to sew in to your curtain, and then you have these little plastic knobs here that will allow you to slide that curtain along your curtain track. This is a plastic construction, so it's going to be very flexible. It is a type D sew-in tape, so if you've got different kinds out there, make sure that this is the kind that's going to work for you. This is made here in the USA.
It is just shy of six and a half feet long when I just measured it a moment ago. It's about 77 inches in total, so it'll give you plenty of room, and this plastic is very easy. You could cut through it if you needed to cut it to length for your application.This does come with a limited lifetime warranty from JR Products. And that's really all there is to it. So if you're needing to get your curtains hooked up to your curtain track in your RV, I think this is going to be a great option for you.That's going to complete our look for today.

The product was as described and easy to work with. The only downside was the sliders were not evenly spaced on tape. Consequently, I had to cut and piece. I made curtains for a RV that had slider brackets on the top and bottom with evenly spaced pleats. This is why I needed sliders to be the same on all strips. I will attach pictures which will help explain. The end result turned out great. The cost was affordable and shipping was extremely fast.
I replaced my RV curtain tape with this one and so far it has held up well.
This sew-in tape was an exact replica of what comes in our Lance 2285 Travel Trailer. We were able to make our own curtains and swap them out for the originals which looked like hospital curtains. We decided to get the new sew-in slide tape so that we could keep the original curtains 'as is' in case we ever sell the camper. We were very pleased with the product and will buy more if we ever change the decor again.

This was exactly what I needed to make my curtains for our RV. They slip right over the existing rails.
These slide tapes worked great. My curtains are all made and they look great, even if I'm not a seamstress. I know how to sew just good enough to make them.

Great! The curtains I made are working out just great. No problems.
Even with a zipper foot on the sewing machine, it was difficult to stitch the tape onto the curtain. It has worked well in my motorhome.
