Today we're going to review part number E52801. This is the Erickson 15,000 pound weld-on truck and trailer winch. Now this winch has a capacity of 15,000 pounds. It is designed to be mounted to a trailer or a truck bed. It is a weld-on installation. When welding this on you want to make sure it is in this position, because it must allow this latch right over here where the gear is to fall into the socket piece by its own weight.
When you turn this, this will automatically fall in and hold it. It is designed to hold a strap up to 4" wide. Now the straps we do sell separately. They're listed on this product page as a related product. It's also designed to use a winch tightening bar, which is sold separately.
It's part number E02803. That is also listed as a related product on this product page. Here's an example of I pulled the winch tightening bar. As you can see, very heavy duty bar. It is designed to install into the holes there and twist it to winch in your strap. Now I do want to give you a few dimensions on the winch itself.
The height of it from the very bottom to the top is going to be right at 6-1/4" tall. The width of just the bracket edge to edge is going to be right at 5-1/2". The overall width from the very edge here to the very edge here is going to be right at 7-3/4". Then the depth of the bracket is going to be right at 3-1/2". That should do it for the review on part number E52801.

I am rating this as a good, because the first set was not good.
After I explained to Carla at etrailer that the first set had sprockets
that were welded on crooked and they were all chipped up. She
got on it and contacted the manufacturer and had them send out
another set. They were here in 5 days. Service is #1 with etrailer.
Thanks Carla!!!!
