I made a call and spoke to Neil, and had another order issued for a replacement lock and received within a week. I am very happy with the product and the service that etrailer provided.
Perfect. Fits right into the slot on the kingpin. It will be a good deterrent for the not so good doers to move on
It works as it should. Not a whole lot to complain about. The locking mechanism itself is a little strange in that once you insert the key you have to use the key to unscrew the lock, it's not just a twist and unlock. You have to use the key to thread the locking end off and on. A bit odd.
Well made, easy to take on and off. Gives me peace of mind knowing that someone can’t hook up to my trailer and take off with it. It’s part of my routine wither at home or traveling it goes on when I’m set up.
Have not used it yet, but it looks strong and dependable.
I will let you know if I have any problems.
Fits very snug. I help with peace of mind with all of the thieves these days. The unit attaches securely to the king pin. It will slow someone down.
Fits great, seems to fill the bill perfectly. Sure adds a degree of comfort when I leave my trailer unattended for a while.

Same as before. Still like it. While you cant ever stop the committed criminal, this does add the level of complexity that may dissuade them.

The king pin lock is still working great
So far so good for our new 5’er. Little weird how you have to turn key (around - around) to undo the lock but will get use to it.
Love it. Use it as a theft deterrent on a ag trailer, that uses a hitch pin.
Great product for peace of mind, especially when you have your trailer at a storage lot!
Easy to use with simple but effective design. Great price.

This device will not sit deeply enough on our pin to allow the locking pi to be inserted. Maybe the weld fillet on the pin "cap" is to large.

Easy to install. I have my fifth wheel hitch in all summer for my RV so its great to have 1 hitch

GREAT product. My personal locksmith friend thought this was a brilliant product given he didn't know how to open until I showed him the "unscrewing part". I recommend that to everyone as an additional deterrent for your king pin lock needs!
5th Wheel King Pin Lock arrived and I must say it is exactly as described on your site. Fits perfectly and the lock is heavy duty.
This lock appears to be of top quality. The locking bar is thick the full length of the bar. Not like some that are thin where the lock attaches. Should not be able to use a pipe to pry and snap the lock part off like can be done with cheap hitch ball type locks.Another thing is the key lock is very unique. If you give someone the key they probably will not figure out how it actually works. Good thing I read the directions. Overall I am impressed.

Got it on time. Seems like a quality item. The key is actually a screw driver and not a key in the traditional sense. It’s a screw on lock. There should have been directions so that I didn’t spend 5 minutes wondering why turning the key 1/2 way didn’t unlock the device.
