Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at the 24 inch long horse trailer breast pad. Now, this horse trailer breast pad is designed to be used to provide maximum protection and comfort for your horse. These pads are nine inches wide, 24 inches long. They're filled with a two inch thick foam and then covered with a nice durable black vinyl.
These pads are designed to be installed inside the horse trailer to protect your horse from any damage to their body when they bump up against the trailer. As we mentioned the dimensions are, we mentioned the dimension on it. The length, 24 inches. The width, nine inches wide. Thickness is about two inches.
They do staple the vinyl to an nice cardboard backing. Now to install this, it does require mounting screws. Those we do sell separately on our website. They go by a part number of PS-8, and they are listed on this product page as a related product. So just to give you an idea, you can see it's a very well padded pad.
But that should do it for the review on this 24 inch long horse trailer breast pad.

My husband installed this on the garage wall so I wouldn’t damage the doors on my show car. Not the typical use for this pad but it’s exactly what I needed. Love it!
I overhauled the inside of my Cherokee 2-horse bumper pull trailer. I installed new plywood on the walls and on the floor in the nose. I repainted the inside smoke gray and installed new wall pads and chest pads from etrailer.com.

Yes George , mounted them to 58 plywood with fat pop rivets. Used leather punch to make holes in pad edge then drilled plywood for rivets. You can use screws. I dont spray them down. Just use bucket warm water and kitchen sponge. Holding up good.
I was impressed with the communication from the company regarding the order and thickness of this pad.
The breast pads that I ordered for my horse trailer fit perfectly.
We bought these to put in our old, but loved, 97 Featherlite. They look great, and will certainly do the job.
I am very pleased with the horse trailer divider and wall pads I purchased from etrailer.com. They are durable -still in great shape a year later.

The pads were an exact match for what we had to replace and so fitting and installation was straight forward. The quality of the items was good and we are happy with them.
Nice pads to add along wall of slant load trailer to cover the aluminum strip that leaves silver marks on my white horse. Quick shipping & fair price.
Love etrailer.com received my products that I ordered fast and they were excellent quality. If and when I need anything else I will definitely be ordering from here.
I received my irder so fast. Can't wait to install the side pads and breast plate I bought . They do have a cardboard back but if you have an enclosed trailer they are perfect. You have to have wood side panels. But in all they are a really good price. I will definitely order from them again!
slightly disappointedThe pad cover material and stitching seems great but we were disappointed to see cardboard on the backing, We like to hose out our trailer and I'm afraid if they get wet they will fall apart, We are going to Lowes and purchase some type of paneling to glue on the back to ensure it won't get wet,Overall, for the price we paid ,we are satisfied,
etrailer has been a great source for all my horse trailer needs. Whether I’m looking for something to upgrade my trailer or replace something destroyed by horses, etrailer has it. Easy to navigate website and quick delivery!!
etrailer was very quick to deliver my horse trailer pads. The pads were as described on the internet. I would deal with etrailer with pleasure again.
Just received the package. The panels look great!! I just bought a used trailer and all the panels on the petitions are gone. I can't wait to install my new panels!!
Worked really well for my daughters horse trailer.
Looks just like the factory pad originally in the trailer
Great item and well worth it. They were shipped right away and got them quickly. No hassle or waiting for the product to be ordered or shipped. Highly recommend this company!!

Items are working great. Would highly recommend your company! Thank you for a great product!
Good quality for the money. I took it apart and replaced the warped cardboard backing with 1/4 plywood. Now is flat and works great. Shipped quick. Good people.
The lightweight paperboard backing is cheep. The shipping carton is more sturdy than these. Will have to go get wood and remake these pads.
The pads have worked wonderfully!!! I love them ... they have kept my horse safe! All of the pads, not just one or two of them, as I bought several.
Very happy with the excellent products! thanks
Too short, sent back

These breast pads are 24 inches long. People typically buy multiple to make a long strip to add to their horse trailer or you can get item # HTP60BK which is considered a side pad but made from the same materials.

I thought these would be a bit thicker, but it provided enough cushion for the horses.
I thought this would have a heavier backing than just a piece of lightweight cardboard. It seems a little overpriced!

Did the pads you purchased mount to the new plywood and then onto the trailer inside front and sides?and if so what thickness plywood did you use?how did these hold up to hosing out now and then?
