I wanted a pair of locks for a hitch adapter and tow bar. etrailer came through, like always, with this great product that was keyed alike. We used them extensively last winter for three month trip towing our dinghy behind RV. No issues at all. Highly recommend these if you need more than one!

Ordered this item in late December, specifically because it is described as "rustproof, stainless steel." After only a few months use, on a vehicle that is garage kept and also kept very clean, it is already starting to rust. etrailer.com will only replace if I cover the shipping to send it back to them first. IMO, etrailer.com should do better to back the products that they sell. I don't wish to spend any more money, even if it is only shipping cost, to get a replacement that will likely do the same thing. NOT RUSTPROOF.

Worked perfectly and love the fact that these can be ordered as keyed alike. Being stainless steel, they should last the lifetime of the truck.
As you can see in the pictures, I have a class III receiver hitch welded to the Iron Bull brand front and the rear bumpers and employ your receiver locks to secure my front license plate and the chrome and black Colorado cap in the rear when I am not using the hitch to pull my bass boat.

Thank you. Received the shipment but the box was in very bad shape (see pictures). Clearly the packaging was not strong enough to carry the weight of the merchandise.
I did receive the 4 straps as ordered but the Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock is missing - please advise on that to do.

This fits my 2" Toyota pickup aftermarket hitch perfectly. No gaps. Solid construction. A quality product that does what it claims! Was a learning curve to figure out the brake adjustment. Good thing there's no interior brake control to hit my knee on and no wiring !

The trailer hitch was top notch, very impressed. Unfortunately, the packaging was NOT. The receiver hitch was shipped loose in the box and the flanges that bolt to the frame of the vehicle busted through both ends of the box. The powder coat was scraped off one side due to this. The hitch needed to either be wrapped better or cardboard added to the box ends to keep this from happening.
The electrical receptacle I ordered at the same time was also loose out of the packaging, inside the box bouncing around with the heavy 4" rise ball mount. I was actually surprised that none of the fasteners were lost due the gaping holes in the box or that the electrical connector wasn't damaged, but fortunately, this time everything was okay.
I think this is a great company with great products, it's just very unfortunate that their shipping department doesn't take as much care in the delivery of those products.

Quality lock, but didn’t fit a 2020 Tundra. My order of three items shipped for under $10 via USPS. When I tried to return the single lock, etrailer wanted to charge $15 shipping / restocking fee. So I guess I’ll give it to someone. Last order I’ll ever place with etrailer.

It’s a bit more difficult to use than some other hitch locks I’ve used, but it is a better and more substantial unit than those others. Since it’s locking a stainless steel hitch, it’s worth the effort.

Does not work on the bike rack this item was recommended for, bike rack is threaded anti sway, this is a solid pin that does not go through the threads, I will need to return but end up paying shipping

I am sorry that this lock was recommended to you and I will have customer service reach out. You are correct that the bike rack uses a threaded hitch pin and therefore a hitch lock will not fit. Typically bike racks will have their own brand of threaded lock to offer. We only have the threaded anti pin for this bike rack. I recommend using a cable lock such as part # e98891

- Do Standard Hitch Pins Work with Hitch Mounted WinchesI spoke with my contact at Superwinch and he informed me that a standard hitch pin would work well for you. They (and us), have never heard of a standard hitch pin breaking from the stress of being used with a hitch mounted winch. Our most popular hitch lock that would fit and work well is part # e98882 which would be a great option. This lock is made of stainless steel so it is incredibly strong.
