Video Transcript for Feature Breakdown: Hitch Pin Clip for 5/8" Diameter Pins

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this three and one quarter inch long hitch pin clip for the five eights inch diameter hitch pins. It's for a quantity of one clip. Now, after you insert your ball mount or your hitch accessory shank into your hitch receiver and then you line up the hitch pin holes, you then slide your hitch pin all the way through all of it, and on the secured on the other side using this clip. This part will replace the clip for a five eights inch diameter hitch pin. Now the hitch pin is sold separately.

This will work on most five eights inch diameter hitch pins that either have a hole or a cutout on the end of the pin. And I wanted to demonstrate that I happened to pull one of each. So you can see here's the one that has the cutout on the end, and here's the one that has the hole drilled in it. So basically, after you slide this all the way through the hitch pin holes, you just take your pin, one in the hole, slide it in there, and it slides right into place, secures it, keeps it from coming out, and you can just remove it. And then this one you can see, has sort of a cutout on it.

Same way, you just line it up, push it on there and it'll secure it, keep it from being removed, and then you just pull it right off. This is made of a chrome plated-steel, is corrosion-resistant. It includes one clip. And the last thing just wanna measure, the diameter of the pin itself is three 16ths of an inch. And the total length we measured is three and one quarter inches.

So if we go from one end, you can see to the other end, there's your three and a quarter inch measurement. But that should do it for the review on this three and a quarter inch long hitch pin clip for the five eights inch diameter pins.
