Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Chevrolet SSR logo two inch trailer hitch receiver cover. Now these hitch covers look cool but they do more than just accessorize your vehicle. This hitch cover will help keep dirt out of your receiver and prevent rust so that you can easily install ball mounts and other hitch accessories when you need them. This one is the officially licensed Chevrolet SSR hitch cover. It has a nice chrome plated solid brass face plate that adds style to your vehicle. It does use a rotary engraved Chevrolet SSR emblem with a durable UV resistant black and red epoxy fill on it.The base is a stainless steel base.
It helps resist rust and corrosion. That does come with everything shown here. It has three different size foam gaskets which are included to eliminate rattle. You pick one with the correct thickness to fit your hitch application. It does also come with this locking stainless steel bolt which will secure the cover to your hitch and includes two of the uniquely designed wrenches that'll fit that shape.
Let you lock it.Again, the application this is for two inch by two inch trailer hitch receivers. Give you a few measurements on this, the overall width of the faceplate is right at six inches. Height on it is right at three and a quarter inches. The base length, overall length of the base itself, is right at three and a half inches. Now what I'm going to do is I happen to have here as an example of a two inch hitch receiver. I'll move the accessories over here.
On this two inch hitch receiver, you can see what you want to do. Now I've already picked the narrowest or the thinnest gasket. That's what'll fit for this to have the hole line up. So you just insert this into the two inch hitch receiver. Push it all the way in.
You can see with that gasket in there that'll help any rattle and from moving. The hole does line up. So then you just take your locking bolt and unscrew it and screw in washer. Then what you do is you just slide this right through there. Put your other end through the other hole and then go ahead and screw that down. Once you get it tight, use one of the wrenches on one side and one on the other side and then just tighten it all the way and then it will just lock it in place so nobody can really access it unless they have this specifically designed wrench.Again, they give you three different thicknesses of those foam gaskets and you just pick the right one that'll fit to have you hole line up and still give a good firm fit. That should do it for the review on this Chevrolet SSR logo two inch trailer hitch receiver cover.
