Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff from etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this blank rectangle stainless steel trailer hitch cover for two inch hitches. Now, this is a rectangle hitch cover, has a nice rugged black finish to help protect your hitch receiver from any dirt and debris. Basically, this blank hitch cover will slide into your receiver, helps keep the inside of your hitch receiver clean and allows your ball mount or your hitch accessory to install very easily. It has a nice rugged black finish to it for a clean look on any vehicle. Does use a durable rust-proof stainless steel sleeve and base.When you do install this into your hitch receiver it will require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock to secure it.
Now that is not included, those we sell separately. If you do have one, you can use your hitch pin and clip or hitch lock, as long as the pin is a five-eighths inch diameter, that'd be the diameter of the hitch pin hole here. If you notice on this cover, there're three different hitch pin holes drilled, and that allows you to put it in the correct application for a nice tight secure fit in your hitch. This part is made in the USA. A few specs again, it's designed to fit into a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver opening.
Dimension on the faceplate itself, the width of it, it's going to be right at five and a quarter inches wide and the height of it is right at three inches tall. But that should do it for the review on the blank rectangle stainless steel trailer hitch cover for two inch hitches.

Fits 2" trailer hitch receivers.It fits perfectly in my 2012 Tahoe receiver and secured by the stainless steel hitch lock. I didn't need it...but I like how it looks. Very sturdy.
Perfect size and fit. Sits flush to the receiver. I only wish it was made of a heavier gauge steel.
Nice product, like the way its made and the looks when installed. Only diasappointed in the fact that the last hole did not align with hole in hitch. I carefully reamed the last hole so hitch pin would fit.
I have a GMC 2500HD with 3-1/2" hitch and 2-1/2" fill tube. I did not want to take out a grease covered 2-1/2" fill tube to use this.

Holding up great, so far! My biggest problem is the rust I get from my actual hitch, just have to keep lubing and things are good!
