Today we're going to review part number AUT-SMI-C. This is the automotive gold smiley face stainless steel trailer hitch cover designed to fit in 2 inch hitches, and yellow finish on it. Now this is a smiley face hitch cover. It slides into your hitch receiver, helps keep out any dirt and debris and from any rust building up inside your hitch. Has a durable UV-resistant black epoxy-filled eyes and mouth. Uses a yellow ABS plastic face, which is corrosion-proof.
It's all attached to a stainless steel base, which will help resist rust and corrosion. The sleeve that inserts into the hitch receiver is also stainless steel. Uses a one-piece riveted construction, so there's no assembly required. You can see on the side, it does have multiple holes drilled to fit your hitch pin hole on your hitch. Now the hitch pin and clip and the hitch lock are not included.
They are sold separately on our website, or you can use one you already have. This part is made in the USA. Again the application is for 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch receivers. It does come with a lifetime warranty. That should do it for the review on part number AUT-SMI-C.

This is the second time I have purchased a trailer hitch from this company. I only had to replace this product because I was rear ended a few weeks ago by another driver. The tow bar took all the damage and while it had to be replaced, it protected the back of my jeep from further impact.

This is the second Smiley Face hitch cover that I have purchased. The first was from a retailer that will remain anonymous. This model is far superior than the last, it has survived a full year of being on a very rough riding truck, through the Texas Floods, and is still as happy as ever on the back of my truck.

Well made really stands out, stainless mount, plastic emblem sturdy, fits 1 1/4" hitch
One wonders why all covers made for 1 1/4" with and adapter for 2" so there would be no need for 2 sizes. I attached it to my E Trailer hitch on my Corvette. Yes a tow hitch on a Corvette for bike rack.

I had a cheap rubber cover but it either blew off in the wash or got stolen. With a locking pin this one should stay put. Makes a nice little enhancement to my vehicle and shows pride in having served our country. Glad it arrived in time for display this "Veterans Day".
