Today we're gonna take a quick look at the US Coast Guard seal trailer hitch receiver cover. This is gonna allow you to show your pride for the US Coast Guard. Has the official logo there on the front. This is going to have a nice foam gasket on the back to prevent any rattle and movement of your hitch cover inside your hitch. The emblem itself is gonna be screen printed with a chrome plated metal frame, so it's gonna give it some durability and some style.Overall, this hitch cover is gonna help to keep out any dirt or grime from building up inside your hitch. Helps to make it easier whenever you go to put in other accessories, like a bike rack, a cargo carrier, anything like that.It's made of a durable metal base with a black powder coat finish to prevent any rusting or corrosion.
The hitch pin and lock, or hitch pin and clip or lock would be sold separately, so you will have to pick those up on your own. You can find a lot of options here at etrailer.com for any of those accessories, though.This is designed to fit in a two inch by two inch trailer receiver. It's two inch by two inch. Our face of the hitch cover is going to be five inches wide, and three and a half inches tall. From the hitch pin hole to the face of our cover, it's about three inches.

Trailer Hitch Receiver Cover fits just fine on my 2018 Tacoma. I am retired U.S. Coast Guardsman and proud to show it. I like the cover because it is made of steel and not plastic that does not last long. It helps to keep the dirt out of the hitch receiver. etrailer has the best price.

Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.

This was not checked for quality prior to shipping from the manufactor or the seller. My logo is off center at the bottomand over to the passenager side. Also my logo is crooked tilting up toward the passenager side. Tried calling customer service but the line has not been manned since I recieved this product. Overall a disappointing experience.

Thanks for your message and following up a year later! I have purchased two of these hitch covers for both of our cars. I'll attach pictures. I believe the first one I bought was 2 years ago and the second was a year ago. The two year old cover has shown a great deal of rust and deterioration over those two years. The other one is in much better shape but I would expect the same to happen over this next year.
I do live in Pittsburgh, a very rainy and humid climate for most of the year. Obviously in winter months, we get a lot of snow and ice with the roadways covered with salt. I'm sure those factors contribute to the rusting of this product.
I'll be happy to log in and make a review post similar to above if you would like me to. I have been a happy customer of yours with a few of these similar products.
