Note: This dual-arm rack reduces the need for a bike frame adapter bar (sold separately) to mount a children's, women's, or alternative frame bicycle. However, to mount certain bikes or to keep your bike level on the rack, a bike adapter bar may be required. Most step-through bikes, dual-suspension bikes, and small children's bikes will require a bike adapter bar.

Inno Aero LIght 2-Bike Rack

This hitch-mounted, hanging-style bike rack holds up to 2 bikes on the back of your vehicle. The Aero Light has front-mounted levers that let you easily tilt the rack down for rear cargo access and fold the arms down for storage. It also has an anti-rattle hitch pin and integrated cable with keyed-alike locks that secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle.

Dual Arms

Dual Arms

The Aero Light has dual arms that provide your bikes with excellent support and ground clearance during transport. The arms secure each bike twice along the top tube and once along the seat post or downtube. This reduces rocking to help eliminate bike-to-bike and bike-to-vehicle contact.

Folding Arms

The thumb lever lets you fold the arms down when not in use. It's located on the front of the rack so you don't have to reach around the back to access it.

Anti-Sway Cradles

Anti-Sway Cradles

The Aero Light has soft, rubber anti-sway cradles that rotate around the arms to accommodate your bikes' frames. They also slide along the arms for optimal bike spacing. The cradles have durable, dual-molded ratcheting straps to hold your bikes firmly in place on the rack.

Tilting Rack with Front-Mounted Foot Lever

Folding Rack

The rack tilts for easy access to your vehicle's rear cargo area. Just step on the foot lever at the base of the rack. And when you're ready to go, lift the rack up until it snaps into place with an audible click.

Foot Lever

The foot lever is located on the front of the rack. This makes it easier to tilt the rack when compared with other hanging-style racks that require you to reach around the rack to access the lever.

Complete Security for Bikes and Rack

Cable Locked

The Aero Light includes locks to secure your bikes to the rack and the rack to your vehicle. The locking cable threads around your bikes' frames and inserts into the lock at the end of the left arm. The cable stores inside the mast when not in use. There is also a sliding cover that helps prevent water from getting into the key hole.

Cable Locked

To secure the rack to your hitch, simply insert the hitch pin and connect the lock to the end of the pin. The locks are keyed alike so you can use the same keys for both locks.

Hitch Adapter

The rack works with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. To use it in a 1-1/4" hitch, simply remove the adapter with the included Allen key.

Video Transcript for Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Kia Sorento

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Kia Sorento, we're gonna be test fitting the Inno Aero Light two-bike rack, part number INH620. We already have a bike installed on the rack; let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. We're gonna start with the arms here and work our way inward. Starting with this point here, this is gonna be a locking point for the integrated cable lock that comes with the rack and rests in one of the main masts. It'll pull out, wrap around your existing bike frames, and then attach to this point here and lock into place at the end, and it does come with two keys for this. With the cradles, these do adjust back and forth as needed and side to side as needed, and the cradle here has this nice, thick rubber pad, and that's gonna help protect the frame of your bike once it's being installed. It will grip your bike at three points: we're gonna have the two straps up at the top as well as the one off to the side.

That's gonna serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too much back and forth and causing bike-to-bike contact. With an anti-sway cradle, it does fold up and out of the way like you see here, and that's gonna make loading the bikes much easier.I would like to point out while we do have a strap around our wheel here, this does not come with this bike rack. We just happened to notice that once this was installed, the wheel did turn in and make contact with the vehicle, so we went ahead and got a strap from our shop to hold it in place. You can find these on etrailer.com as well, and they are sold separately. So let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. Now with the straps here, we do have tabs on either side so you can remove these completely.

Or you can do what I'm about to do now. Push it in and just remove one side, and that's it. We'll lift our bike up and off, and you can see how easier that was as opposed to having this in the folded down position where I would run into it and I would have to go back and forth and try to shimmy it off. Very, very much so a hassle.I'll fold this back down, because we need these folded down to fold it in place when we're ready. And with it in this position I'd like to give you a couple quick measurements here.

We're gonna start by measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outermost point. This is gonna give you an idea of how much we've added to the vehicle. So from this edge here, we've added 24 inches to the rear of the vehicle. Our ground clearance is gonna be about 10 inches, and the closest point to the bumper is gonna be about an inch and a half to this edge here. For those close quarters situations, the arms do fold down.

To do that, we'll go in between the two masts here to this lever, push that down, and push the arms down at the same time until you hear that click. Again, measuring from the edge of the bumper, now we've only added about 13 inches to the end of the vehicle, so that made a significant difference. We can also tilt this away from the vehicle for rear hatch access by pushing down on the pedal there, and now we have access to our rear hatch to get what we need and more than enough space on either side to do so.To put it back in its original position, you simply push up like so. And how this attaches to the edge, we're gonna have an anti-rattle bolt and lock on the other side. Once the bolts tighten, it'll take out the shake and play in the shank, and with the lock, it does have a plastic cover on it to make sure that no road dirt or grime will get in there. We also have this collar on the outside here, so this will work with both class one and class two inch and a quarter hitches, meaning this can work with multiple vehicles, or if you we're to get a class two hitch for your Kia Sorento, it'll work with that also. And there you have it for the Inno Aero Light two bike rack on our 2018 Kia Sorento.

Great bike rack. The bike rack is able to hold the bikes without much swaying. I really like that it has a key to secure it to the hitch and it has a lock for the bikes. Great product! 616758

I needed a new bike rack, as my new vehicle only has a 1 1/4” hitch and my old rack was 2”. I chose this rack for a number of reasons. It fits both the 1 1/4” receiver in my new vehicle, as well as the 2” receiver in my truck. The rack has a lock for both the bikes as well as locking to the vehicle. The only negative here is there is separate keys for the hitch pin and the lock for the bikes....why not key them the same? Oh well, minor issue. The rack is very sturdy. The bikes fit the rack snugly. The straps are very easy to install to hold the bikes. On some of the other racks, in the videos they warned about being careful when tilting the rack back to access the trunk / hatch. Not so with this rack. Instead of bending down and removing a pin to tilt the rack, there is a convenient foot petal. The rack will not tilt towards the car and potentially damage it. I also liked buying from etrailer. The price was right, and they provide plenty of reviews. They provide answers to any questions you may have, as well as multiple videos showing the features of the products they sell. The videos are not vendor supplied, but are actual etrailer videos showing the features. 725982

I have 2 other bike racks and this one if far superior. The ease of use, the ability to lock the rack to the car, and the bikes to the rack, make this rack our favorite over our other equipment. 659121

Installed this rack on a 2016 Toyota Prius, using a hitch installed by a national rental company. The rack is pretty solid. I've only carried one bike so far, but there's very little play. I expect it to handle two just fine. Moving the arms up or down, or tilting it back to access the hatch, is comfortingly solid, with nice, reassuring clicks when things lock into place. Some might call it stiff, but I appreciate that as it means there's no surprise movement when you release the catch. The Prius is a low profile car with annoyingly low clearance (compared to my Subaru), and the bike rack doesn't help. Steep driveways and deep gutters can cause it to scrape the ground if you're not careful. It partially blocks the backup camera, but that's to be expected. The third brake light in the middle of the hatch is also partially blocked. No issues with installation. The spring for the tilt release foot pedal had to be slightly adjusted; it was blocking the notch, and had to be slid to the side a little bit. 642508

Upon opening the box, a great start, nothing to put together and all parts were present without damage. Extremely easy to mount to my Colorado pickup. I like the weight and solid feel of the rack. My bike attached quickly and securely, love the locking mechanisms for the bike and the hitch. I have not driven down the road yet, but the rack seems very stable and doesn’t feel like it will bounce around much at all. As long as the durability is as good as the first impression I would extremely recommend this bike rack. 614206

Review from a similar Inno Aero Light in Hitch Bike Racks

This has been a great product so far. Holds four bikes, really easy to set up and install, doesn't sway much at all. We put a hitch and this rack on our Honda Fit and it works beautifully. Only one star missing because I wish it was a little more kid bike-friendly. 728679

Review from a similar Inno Aero Light in Hitch Bike Racks

I have been searching for a 4-bike rack for some time and came across the etrailer.com website. This website was very helpful as they had video reviews that helped me make my decision and customer support has been awesome! The bike rack was easy to set up and no assembly required. Placing the bike rack in the hitch was manageable for me as I needed to be able to handle the rack without assistance. The setting points that the bike frame sets on are rubber so it does not scratch the bikes. The straps are very easy to plac/ remove and secures the bikes perfectly. I am happy the setting points are able to be moved as otherwise there would be no way 4 bikes would fit. For the price point, I was very happy this rack came with a locking bolt and locking cable. There is one issue with the locking cable. (I have a womens bike and three 20" wheel teen bikes so I need to use an adapter bar for all bikes.) With this set up, the locking cable is not long enough to go through the bike frames but rather is only long enough to string under each adapter bar which does not secure the bikes from theft. If the cable were about 3" longer it would work as intended. The rack with fully loaded bikes traveled very well with little movement. Overall, this appears to be a great bike rack at a good value. I would have awarded 5 stars if the locking cable were longer to appropriately secure the bikes on the rack. 662816

  • Recommended Inno Hanging Bike Rack for 2012 Mazda 5
  • We do have some great hitch-mounted bike racks that will work well on your 2012 Mazda 5, however based on my research the Inno Vertical Hang 4 Bike Rack # INH540 that you referenced will not be compatible. This is because the Inno Bike Rack requires that the hitch pin hole is recessed no more than 4-1/2 inches behind the rear bumper of the vehicle to ensure no interference between the rack and bumper.
