This really is a great bike rack! I got this so my wife, myself and our two kids can put all our bikes on to go trail riding. it's easy to install and remove myself. I primarily picked this one because the lock is part of the rack and I wouldn't need to deal with that separately. I would absolutely recommend this rack to anyone, bikes fit real well, and also when driving they are real snug and tight.

I decided on this particular brand and model bike rack after extensive research and I'm incredibly pleased with my decision. I find it faster to use a 3/4 ratchet instead of the included tool, but that's certainly not a complaint. If it fits your budget, BUY THIS NOW!!!

Arrived at our doorstep in Canada just a few days after ordering online. Well packaged! We are completely satisfied and would recommend etrailer.com to all Canadian customers. A+

Ask the Experts about this Inno Hitch Bike Racks

  • Can Hanging Style Bike Racks Tilt Away from Cargo Hatch With Bikes Loaded?
The Inno Vertical Hang 4 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting # INH540 you asked about is not designed to be tilted with bikes loaded. You will need to unload bikes to tilt the rack away and allow that rear cargo access on your 2020 Subaru Forester. Most manufacturers of these hanging style racks will not allow the tilt feature with bikes loaded. This is due to the angle, weight, bikes hitting each other or the ground, etc. If you have a 2 inch receiver, I recommend adding...

  • Recommended Inno Hanging Bike Rack for 2012 Mazda 5
We do have some great hitch-mounted bike racks that will work well on your 2012 Mazda 5, however based on my research the Inno Vertical Hang 4 Bike Rack # INH540 that you referenced will not be compatible. This is because the Inno Bike Rack requires that the hitch pin hole is recessed no more than 4-1/2 inches behind the rear bumper of the vehicle to ensure no interference between the rack and bumper. The center of the hitch pin hole for both the Draw-Tite # 24874 and the Curt # C11127...

  • Can I Use the Inno Hang Over 4 on a Class I Hitch?
The Inno Vertical Hang 4 # INH540 is compatible with Class I hitches, but it's not good to put more than two bikes on a Class I hitch. It's not about the weight but more of the distance and angle that the third and more bikes sit at will overburden the hitch. In these cases, I usually recommend a trunk-mounted bike rack, but the maximum they're built for is 3 bikes like the Yakima HalfBack 3 # Y02635. You could pair the trunk mounted bike rack with a roof mounted bike rack like # 298-BT1004...

  • Is The Inno Vertical Hang 4 # INH540 A Good Option For Hauling A Womens Bike?
You could possibly get your wife's LIV Flourish Cruiser on the Inno Vertical Hang 4 # INH540 but I think there is a better option for you. The Thule Apex XT 4 # TH9025XT can carry 4 bikes just like the Inno option, but there is much more bar spread so you won't have to worry about struggling to get the bikes loaded. I've used the Inno option before but I really wasn't a fan of the vertical bars compared to the normal horizontal bars. With The Apex, all you'll need is the Thule Adapter...

  • Inno Vertical Hanging 4 Bike Rack Bike Compatibility
The distance between the two arms is going to be 195mm between the upper and lower arm. You are going to need a gap in your frame 4-3/8" wide by 2-1/2 tall because those are the dimensions of the cradle. Anything smaller will be difficult if not impossible to load bikes up especially for the bikes mounted closest to your vehicle. So be sure to measure your 20" bike to see if it has a gap big enough. Another thing to think about is that you will need to invert each other bike. Meaning,...

  • Is the INNO Vertical Hang Compatible with Kid's Bikes and the Hitch on my 2012 Subaru Forester
The Inno Vertical Hang 4 Bike Rack part # INH540 is a great fit for your 2012 Subaru Forester. It is also designed to work with all types of bike frames including the kids bikes you mentioned. It is designed to work with both the 1 1/4' and 2" hitches so it will work with your Forester's hitch.

  • Can I Tilt My Bikes Away From My 2017 Acura RDX When Using The Inno Vertical Hang 4?
The Inno Vertical Hang 4 # INH540 can tilt, but is not designed to tilt with the bikes installed. I have a rack that you will be able to load 4 bikes and tilt it with the bikes installed. The Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack # HR4000 is a great choice for what you need. You just need to have a 2" hitch receiver. It's much easier to load than the vertical hang 4 and has more adjustments so it will fit a wider array of bikes. It will fit well on your 2017 Acura RDX. I've...

  • Does Inno Vertical Hang Bike Rack Fit 2015 Subaru Forester
So long as you have the right trailer hitch receiver on your 2015 Subaru Forester, you can absolutely use the Inno Vertical Hang 4-Bike Rack # INH540. This rack requires the hitch pin hole of the trailer hitch to be recessed no more than 4-1/2 inches behind the rear bumper of your Forester, so you can use the Inno rack along with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12100. When we test fit this hitch on a '15 Forester we found it was 2-3/4" from the hitch pin hole to the bumper, which...

  • Best Hanging-Style Bike Rack for Clearance on Jeep Wrangler with Spare Tire
We have not tried it with a 2008 Jeep Wrangler, but we did do a test fit of the Inno Vertical Hang 4 # INH540 on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. As you can see in the video attached below, we were not able to fully swing out the rear door on the Jeep although the spare tire cleared it. This was even with a high-low adapter that lift the bike rack 2 inches and extended it out about 8 inches. Without that adapter, the bike rack would be even closer and it would be less likely to clear...

  • Mounting 3 Bikes on 2020 Subaru Crosstrek With Class I Hitch
The easiest solution here is to use a trunk mounted bike rack like the Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Rack # SA803. This is my all around favorite trunk bike rack due to how it fits on a variety of vehicles. Also I'm a personal fan of their cool arched design. Another popular trunk bike rack for your vehicle is the Yakima FullBack 3 # Y02633 which comes with extra cushioned cradles and an integrated bike lock. You would use hub setting 3 with this bike rack. Each vehicle has their own 'hub setting'...

  • Will the Inno Vertical Hanging 4 Bike Rack Work with my 2014 Infinity Q8 with 2" Hitch
Yes the Inno Vertical Hang 4 Bike Rack part # INH540 will work out perfectly with the factory hitch on your 2014 Infinity Q8. Check out the video I linked where my buddy Colin goes over all of the details.

  • Hitch Mount 4 Bike Rack for my VW Atlas 2020
Assuming you have a hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13366 I really like the Inno Vertical Hang 4 Bike Rack part # INH540. This keeps the bikes nice and high while also working for all types of bike without the need for adapter bars. Check out the video on it that I've linked for you.

  • Recommended Method for Carrying 4 Bikes on 2009 Audi A4 Wagon
You are correct that there is only a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver # C11195 available for your Audi A4 Wagon. You are also correct that when using a 1-1/4" receiver that you are limited to a 2 bike rack. I have a solution for you to carry 4 bikes, but using a hitch extender or adapter like the # MT70032 reduces the tongue weight capacity of your hitch by 50%, so it will not be a good option. Your best bet is going to be carrying 2 bikes on a rack and 2 on the roof, using a roof rack...

  • How To Get a Bike Lock With Matching Keys for the Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack
The Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack part # Y02458 is an excellent bike rack option that already comes with a hitch lock. In order to use a lock for the bikes you'll also need the Yakima HandCuff Cable Lock part # Y02466. That said, this option will likely give you two different sets of keys. If you would like for both locks to match, you'll also need the Yakima Same Key System part # Y07202. • Comparing Inno Bike Rack INH540 and Curt Premium Bike Rack # C18064
For ease of use with all of the bike rack styles you mentioned the Inno Vertical Hang 4 bike rack part # INH540 would be what I would recommend over the Curt # C18064 that you also mentioned. The Curt would require frame adapters for the womens and kids bikes like part # UB01 whereas the Inno's unique design won't require that.

  • 4-Bike Rack that Will Clear Rear Bumper of 2020 Chrysler Pacifica with Hitch Installed
When the etrailer hitch part # e98903 was installed here we found that it measured 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the rear bumper edge. Since that's not enough clearance for the Inno # INH540 and none of our other hitches would provide more clearance a similar bike rack like the Thule Hitching Post Pro part # TH934XTR would be a better option. I attached a review video of this rack being used in a 2020 Pacifica like yours for you to check out as well.

  • Will The Yakima Hangover 4-Bike Carrier Only Work With Bikes That Have Front Suspension?
I have a solution for you, but unfortunately the Yakima HangOver 4 Bike Rack # Y02484 only works with bikes that have suspension forks. A nice carrier that you could look into is the Inno Vertical Hang 4 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # INH540 which works with non-suspension bikes. The Inno Vertical Hang has integrated locks to secure the bikes and bike rack to your 1-1/4" or 2" trailer hitch receiver. I attached a detailed demonstration video to give you some more insight.
