Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Patriot Hitches Drop Hitch with Stacked Receivers. Now, this drop hitch with stacked receivers has been designed by a US military veteran to slide into your two-inch trailer hitch receiver and give you the ultimate towing and hauling flexibility and versatility. You're going to get five two-inch receivers that are gonna let you mount your ball mount, your tow bar, your bike rack, or your cargo carrier, and a whole lot more at various heights. Now, this does have a gross towing weight of 25,000 pounds, a maximum tongue weight of 2,000 pounds, and a maximum drop or rise of about 10 inches. Now, this is super adjustable.

You're just going to remove the stacked receivers and mount it on the shank wherever you wanna get that different drop or rise. So as you can see, I have this currently set at the maximum drop position, but this is called the cartridge. And so this cartridge can adjust on this shank wherever you need it for that height adjustment that you're looking for. And then not only that, but you're going to get the different receivers here as well at different heights. So you're gonna get quite a bit of flexibility with that height adjustment.

Now, if you're not going to be towing, you can use this as a hitch step, and all you have to do is remove this cartridge from the shank, turn it horizontal, and then slide it back onto the shank and secure it with a pin and clip. And then you're gonna be able to use this as a hitch step when you're not towing. So that's a pretty nice addition to this. With this, you're not gonna have to worry about rattling or vibration, because included here, we have these two stainless steel bolts that are gonna keep your accessories from moving around and vibrating. And this does include a hex wrench here that you can use to tighten down those bolts to get that vibration and rattle out of your ball mount, your cargo carrier, whatever you have mounted in there.

Now, this is going to be a very sturdy, because this is made of solid steel and it's covered in a really nice, textured powder-coat finish, giving you the rust re rust resistance that you're looking for. So, I think the finish is gonna hold up pretty well for you over time. As you can see, you do get three pins and clips, and they are covered in a blue paint. So if you're looking for something with a pop of blue color on the back of your vehicle, this is gonna be a good option to choose. I just wanna let you know that this paint might flake on you a little bit, especially if you're using the clips on the pins for the first time.

You might get a little bit of flaking there around that area. So, just be aware of that. We do have other color options available, red, for instance. And we also have it where the pins and the clips match the finish of the hitch itself, which is my favorite option. It's a nice, sleek, black look. So, let me go ahead and give you some measurements just so you have a good idea of the size of this unit. So let me begin with the height first. So from bottom to top, as I hope you can see, we're sitting pretty close to 13 1/4 inches tall. And then looking at the overall length, let me line this up a little bit better here for you. And then I'm just gonna be measuring from back to front there, make my way around these clips. So, as I hope you can see there, from back to front, we're sitting right at 10 inches. And then on the holes here, the first hitch pin hole to that first accessory hole, is gonna line that up there. We are sitting right at about five inches. And then moving down to that, the center of that second hitch pin hole to the center of the accessory hole. And we're just measuring, at this point, in between the pins there or in those holes there. So on center, 6 1/2 inches. And then if you are wondering about the measurement from the center of the second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, right at about 1 1/2 inches, if you can see that there. So hopefully those measurements are gonna be helpful for you. You can see I'm using these blocks here to keep it upright on my turntable. So, if you're looking for something like this, it meets the specs that you're looking for and you like the pop of blue in the pins and clips, this is really gonna be a great option to consider from Patriot Hitches.
