Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch Adapter. Now, this drop hitch receiver adapter has been designed by a U.S. military veteran to slide into your two-inch trailer hitch receiver and this is going to give you a rise or a drop to match the height of your particular application. So to change the height, it's gonna be very easy to do.

You're just gonna remove these pins and clips here, and then this receiver is going to slide through this shank and so you'll just adjust it to the particular height that you're looking for, whether it's drop or rise, and then secure the pins and clips in the holes that are going to work best for you for that particular height adjustment. Now, this does have a maximum gross towing weight capacity of 10,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 1,000 pounds. This is going to give you a maximum drop or rise of about 11 inches. The height adjustment is going to be 1 1/2 inch increments, and the two-inch receiver is going to let you use a ball mount, a pintle hook, or other hitch mounted accessories. And this does feature built-in anti-rattle bolts that are gonna do a great job of reducing vibration and noise.

You're just going to adjust them with this included hex wrench that you see here. So that's gonna be very easy to get that tightened down to where it's gonna take that vibration out. Very easy to use. This is the heavy-duty steel construction. This is gonna be ideal for towing heavy loads and this features a really nice, textured black powder coat finish.

It's gonna do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. If you notice, you do get one, two, three, four blue pins and clips here, so they really look, the color really looks great, but I just do wanna let you know that especially when you use them the first couple of times, you are gonna get some of that paint flaking off when you're using the clips on the pins there. So just be aware of that, that the paint does kind of have a tendency from time to time to chip off or flake off just a little bit. That's gonna be normal with this. Let me go ahead and give you some measurements just so you have a good idea of the size of this unit.

Looking at the overall length from end to end, we're sitting pretty close to 11 1/4 inches long. The overall height roughly 13 3/4 inches tall.
