Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Patriot Hitches drop hitch with stacked receivers. Now, this drop hitch with stacked receivers has been designed by a US military veteran to slide into your 2 1/2" trailer hitch receiver and give you, really, the ultimate towing and hauling versatility that you might be looking for. You're going to get multiple 2" receivers that are going to let you mount your ball mount, your tow bar, bike rack, cargo carrier, whole lot more, all at various heights. Now, this does have a gross towing weight of 25,000 pounds and a maximum tongue weight of 2,500 pounds. This will give you a maximum drop or rise of 10", so this is super adjustable.

When you need to adjust the height, all you have to do is remove the pin and clip right here that's included, and then remove the stack of receivers and then mount it on the shank wherever you want to get a different drop or rise. As you can see, I have the receivers on the second hole, here, the second to the top. But if you need to adjust this, again, you just remove this pin and clip and then just put the receivers through the, run the shank through the hole of the receivers. That's going to give you that adjustability that you're looking for. Now, you could also mount the receivers horizontally to create a hitch step if you're not using it as a stacked receiver.

That's another nice feature that this has that's included. If you notice, here, we do have stainless steel bolts, here. They're gonna keep your accessories from moving and vibrating the receiver. You'll just tighten this one down here where the receiver is mounted, and then wherever you put your accessory at, you'll just tighten down this bolt here at the appropriate hole wherever you have the accessory at to keep it from vibrating. So, that's a nice addition that is included here.

This is gonna be very sturdy for you, very dependable. It is solid steel and it's covered in a pretty nice textured powder coat finish, giving you that rust resistance. Depends on the clips, have the same type of finish so they can all match. It's gonna look pretty good on the back of your truck. Now, giving you some overall dimensions, let me get my tape measure, here.

Looking at the overall height from bottom to top, we're sitting right at about 13 1/4" tall. And then the overall length, let me get my ruler, here, that might be a little bit easier to show you. The overall length simply from end to end, we are sitting right at 10", if you can see that there. And then, you might be wondering about some other measurements in regards to, maybe, like the space in between the holes on center, so let me go ahead and give you the measurement from the center of our, this accessory hole, which, these are all lined up here to the center of our first hitch pin hole. So, lining that up there. As I hope you can see, there, right underneath that pin right here on center, from that center of the accessory hole to the center of the first hitch pin hole, we're right at 5". And then, to the center of the second hitch pin hole, we're right at 6 1/2", it looks like. And then, from the center of that second hitch pin hole to the end of the shank, looks like right at 1 1/2". Hopefully, those measurements are helpful for you.
