Many tow systems require some sort of hitch accessory to either raise or lower your tow bar so that it sits level. To determine if your setup needs an adapter, hook the tow bar up to your RV and towed car and measure to see how close to level it is. The "safe zone" for a motor-home-mounted tow bar ranges from 3 inches above level to 3 inches below. Car-mounted models must be absolutely level. This high-low adapter can provide you with the necessary drop or desired rise to achieve a level tow bar setup.

I was impressed with the quality of this hitch riser. I am using this to raise my hitch 8" so my tow bar lays flat level. My jeep is raised and the motor home hitch is low under the body. Solid stock male end, heavy wall material for the other parts. Should work perfectly for my purpose.
I run a business from the road in my RV so I am never in one place to long. I needed this part for my RV and was concerned about shipping. This is a beefy hitch adapter, worked just as I imagine. I used it to raise my hitch mounted cargo carrier when off-roading, caring about 200 lbs. max. I would recommend this product.
