  • Class IV Universal Weld-On Trailer Hitch
There is a Class IV universal weld-on trailer hitch available, the Buyers Products Class 4 Service Body Short Hitch Receiver # 3371801053, although the Curt # 15901 is only available as a Class V trailer hitch as there is not a Class IV version available.

  • Hitch Recommendation for a Frame-Mount Bus
Even though I can't recommend bolting a hitch to your bumper I do have a solution for you. For your application I would recommend a universal frame mount hitch, because this type of hitch will give you a more secure connection since your type of bumper is not ideal for bolting on a hitch. These hitches weld-on to the frame of the vehicle. We offer # 15901 with 3 inch brackets and we offer # 15902 with 10 inch brackets. To choose which hitch will suit your needs you will want to...

  • What are the Towing Capacities for the Curt Hitches part # 15901 and # 15902
I can tell you what Curt lists as the capacities for their # 15901 and # 15902 hitches. You are correct, they both have 12k capacities. The only other capacity you will need to look up is the capacity for your RV. If it is at least 12k then you could take full advantage of the hitch's capacity assuming they were installed correctly. This info should be in the RV owner's manual.

  • Recommended Class V Trailer Hitch For 2003 Newmar Dutch Star RV
The Class lV or V hitches we have that are available for your 2003 Newmar Dutch Star RV require welding installations. I recommend the Curt Class V Universal Weld-on Hitch, part # 15901. This will fit frames from 18 up to 44 inches, and with the side brackets produces a drop of 3 inches from the frame. This hitch has a 2 inch receiver opening. You will want to make sure you do not exceed the towing capacity of the RV.

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver for an RV that is Rated Higher Than 5,000 Pounds
We have a universal, weld-on trailer hitch receiver that's adjustable and rated up to 15,000 pounds. The Curt # 15901 will adjust to trailer frames between 18 to 44 inches wide. You'll want to verify the towing capacity of your RV because you will be limited by the lowest rated component and this hitch will not increase your RV's capacity.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for RV with 2001 Ford F-53 Chassis
I may have a solution for you, however we do not currently offer any custom-fit trailer hitches for the 2001 Ford F-53 Chassis on your motorhome. Our available selection of trailer hitches designed for RVs and motorhomes are all Class III hitches. In order to upgrade, I recommend looking at a Universal Weld-On Heavy Duty Hitch like the Curt # 15901. This is a Class V trailer hitch that can fit frames from 18 inches up to almost 44 inches using the adjustable side brackets. This will...

  • Best Class V Trailer Hitch for a Class C Motorhome
I do still have an option for you in the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch part # 15901 but it sounds like you are looking for a custom fit trailer hitch and none of the trailer hitch manufacturers we offer custom fit them to motorhome chassis. Therefore, you will need to notify the above to work for you. It has a class v rating with adjustable brackets that will accommodate your motorhome with slight alterations. The low profile brackets will also provide you with the flush look...

  • Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1997 Damon Intruder with 10,000 lb Towing Capacity
We may have something that will work for you, but keep in mind, trailer hitch manufacturers do not make custom fit hitches for RVs and motor homes. A universal hitch is used and is typically bolted or welded to the frame of the RV and in some cases the mounting brackets have to be modified. You will also have to remove the existing hitch, but I recommend holding on to the mounting brackets as templates just in case the mounting brackets for the new hitch have to be modified. I also recommend...

Although we don't have a custom fit trailer hitch for your 1961 International C-120 Travelall, doesn't mean it can't be done. I recommend having a certified welder weld a hitch receiver like such as part # 15901. It's a universal hitch usually designed for service or utility body trucks. But you can align the hitch body with the adjustable side brackets to match the width of your 1961 International C-120 Travelall. I included a link to all of the specialty trailer hitches we currently...

  • Highest Rated Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2003 Ford E-450
I do have an option for you but the 2003 Ford E-450 is a cab and chassis model to which our aftermarket manufacturers do not test/designed their hitches for. In addition to this we do not offer a Class VI trailer hitch receiver. Therefore, the best option I can offer you is the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch and Brackets part # 15901. This hitch has a Class V rating with a 2" receiver tube opening. It fits frame rails spaced between 18" and 43" apart therefore will work well for...

If Curt trailer hitch # 15901 was welded so that the top of the cross tube was flush against the bottoms of the frame rails the drop would only be about an inch or so. The other weld-on options would have even more drop so the Curt hitch is your best option.

This hitch features a 3 inch drop, is adjustable up to 44 inches wide, and has a 2 inch square hitch receiver. Weld-on brackets for the hitch can slide from 18 inches to nearly 44 inches. According to my technical contact at Draw-Tite your 1989 Chevrolet R3500 cab-and-chassis with dump box has no direct-fit bolt on hitches available. However, there may be an option in a universal-fit weld on Class V hitch. Curt offers a universal-fit weld-on Class V hitch with 2-inch receiver opening an 3-inches of drop, part # 15901. • Trailer Hitch for Ambulance on 2000 Ford E450 Cutaway Van Chassis
We don't offer a custom hitch for the 2000 E450 Cutaway, because the configuration of the back bumper in regards to the frame members is different than the cargo van. You'll need a weld-on universal hitch, like part # 15901. The hitch has a 3 inch drop, which means that in order for it to fit on your ambulance, the vertical distance between the the underside of the frame member and the bottom of the bumper needs to be less than 3 inches, or the bumper will be in the way of the receiver...

The side mounting plates on the Buyers Products Hitch Plate # 3371809060A are spaced apart by 34-1/4 inches, inside to inside. This is likely a bit too large for the 33 inch wide frame on your vehicle. Your best option may simply be with a weld-on hitch like the Curt Class V # 15901, which will work on frames that are between 18 and 44 inches wide. • Can a Rear Mount Trailer Hitch be Used on the Front of a 1996 Nissan 4x4 Pickup Truck
I do have a solution for you but you will not be able to use a rear mount hitch on the front of a vehicle. Some trailer hitch manufacturers we carry do not give us the hitch dimensions because it is proprietary information. • Making a 3-Receiver Trailer Hitch for a 2007 Ford F-150
I can certainly help you with the parts you will need to add a 3-receiver hitch to your 2007 Ford F-150. First, a custom fit trailer hitch will not work for this application. What I recommend is a raw steel weld-on hitch such as # 15901. Then you could weld on a couple of receivers # E-9 to create a 3-receiver hitch. All welding should be performed by a qualified professional welder. After welding I recommend painting the hitch because the raw steel can rust.
