Cool-colored light, especially that with a high color temperature, promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Color temperature is based on chromaticity, which refers to the quality of a color rather than its luminance. In short, Vision X's halogen bulbs incorporate bright light with high-quality color so that not only can you see the world around you, but you can be truly aware of it.

Today we're going to review part number VX-LH4. These are the Vision X H-4 halogen headlight bulbs. These are a superwhite color. They do come as a quantity of two. When we ship these to you, you do receive them in this nice hard plastic protective case to keep the bulbs from getting damaged. Once you get them you can just pop them open, just like that, and you have access to the bulbs. One note I do want to mention is that when you do handle the bulbs, you want to handle them by the metal base.
You don't want to touch the glass portion of it. The reason that is, is the grease from your fingers, or the oil from your fingers, will get on the bulb themselves and what'll happen is when you go to install them and then turn them on, they're a high-temperature bulb and any type of oil that's on that glass could end up cracking the bulb or make it shatter. You don't want to touch it with your fingers. You actually just want to carry it around holding it by the metal base. These are halogen bulbs, which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs for improved brightness and it gives you increased visibility. This bulb has a superwhite beam, which has a blue tint that'll resemble the high-intensity discharge lighting and that'll reflect better off of the road signs and the markers on the highway and it also shines up to about 30% brighter and up to about 25% further than your factory bulbs.
They do have a high color temperature, which improves your visibility, promotes driver awareness, also increases your depth perception and reduces eye strain and fatigue. The bulb is a durable, long-lasting construction, has a 250-hour lifespan. It is a fast and easy installation. As you can see here, the plug on the bottom, you just plug this into your vehicle's existing headlamp sockets. These are Department of Transportation compliant. The specs on this, this part number is for two bulbs. The bulb type is H4.
The wattage on it, it's a dual-filament bulb, so the low beam is 55 watts at 12 volts, high beam is 65 watts at 12 volts. The brightness on the bulb is 900 lumens and the color temperature is 5,300 degrees Kelvin. These bulbs do have a lifetime warranty. Replacement bulbs with light blue tint deliver more light output and greater visibility than factory bulbs.Works great so far, the case the bulbs came in did came damaged, looks like they were dropped and cracked, but other than that they work great! and therefore the crack wasn’t an issue since the bulbs themselves wasn’t damaged. I’m using these on my 2006 Yamaha YZF 600R headlight bulb. Install was easy and they look good. Came with 2 bulbs. 1st photo is the low beam the second is the high beam.

These bulbs are a great replacement for your stock low beams. I just wanted a white light instead of the incandescent orange. They are a tad brighter and do make things better to see. Installing is easy on the left side and the right side just needs a little more work.

Thought too they’d be brighter and look a little cooler blue but you guys are the best and I won’t be quitting you guys. Still have not put toe on floorboard I ordered for my 03 Acura MDX. Quick take me thru? Should get it on and I’m sure it’s easy. Needed more help opening the damn light bulb pkg then installing new bulbs. That was easy and straight forward. Thank you. While these new bulbs absolutely are brighter than the original OEM bulbs, they weren't exactly what I was expecting. I thought they were the super bright blu"ish" colored lights that I'm seeing on other cars coming at me these days. So my expectations were a little off but that doesn't change the fact that these are as advertised and are definitely brighter.

Low beam bulbs for my GMC Sierra SLE. I just received them and have not installed them yet. However, I want to compliment etrailer for the fast and efficient service they provided. I ordered the original bulbs myself using the decision tree provided me. After a couple of days, I called to follow up on my order (because they were out of stock) and Bill, one of their service reps reviewed my order and found a cheaper pair that were in stock. When I asked what was the difference in price, he advised me that I had ordered bulbs made by a smaller manufacturer; the replacement was equally as good but made by a bigger company. Several days later, I received the bulbs. Great service!
