Today we're going to review part number VX-HH13. These are the Vision X H13 Halogen Headlight Bulbs, premium white in color and these are the high-wattage bulbs, comes as a quantity of 2, and when you do receive them, you'll get them in a nice pack like this. It's a very hard case that'll protect the bulbs from any damage. If you just pop them open then you have access to the bulbs. Just a note to let you know when you do handle these bulbs, it's best to handle them by the base, the plastic or metal part. You don't want to handle them by the glass bulb itself. And the reason that is, everybody on their hands has oil, and when you touch the glass portion that oil will transfer to the glass and then when you go to install these, what'll happen is when they're turned on, it's a very high temperature light.

That oil on the glass could cause that glass to crack or shatter so when you do handle them try to install and handle them by the actual base itself. Now these are a high-wattage halogen bulb that'll replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs, gives you improved brightness and increased visibility. Has a premium white light which will shine about 45% brighter and up to about 40% further than your factory bulbs. That'll help because it'll reflect better off of the road signs and the markers on the highway. This is a high color temperature which improves visibility, promotes driver awareness, also increases your depth perception and reduces eye strain and fatigue. Basically although that's not required, that you purchase the harness to use these lights but it is recommended. The reason is the wire that's used in the harness has a very thicker gauge than the wire in your vehicle's factory harness and that thicker wire is preferred for these higher wattage bulbs. It also gives you the relay to protect them and the result is that the bulbs will burn more brightly with a greater measure of safety so there's no heat related damage. Now a few specs on this. The wattage on these, they're a dual filament, so the low beam is 80 watts at 12 volts, the high beam is 100 watts at 12 volts.
