Today we're going to review part number VX-DH13. This is the Vision X H13 Halogen Headlight Bulbs, Premium White in color, in a quantity of 2. This part number will come just like this in a nice, hard, protective case to protect the bulbs from any damage. When you get them, you can just pop it open. Once you pop it open, I just want to mention to you that one of the things you want to do is when you go to install these bulbs or anytime you handle the bulbs, you want to handle them by the plastic base. You really don't want to touch the glass portion with your hands. The reason for that is because you have oil residue on your hands. When you touch that glass portion, that oil will stick to that glass. What happens when you install these and power is sent to them and it go on, the high temperature of the bulb, with that oil on, it will cause it usually to crack or shatter.
You try not to get any of that oil on the bulbs. You don't want to handle them by the glass portion. Just handle them by the plastic base. These are halogen bulbs, which will replace your vehicle's factory headlight bulbs. It gives you improved brightness and increased visibility. It's a premium white light which shines about 40% brighter and up to about 35% further than your factory bulbs.
They do reflect better off of the road signs and the markers along the highway. The bulb is a high-color temperature which improves visibility and promotes driver awareness. It also increases your depth perception and it reduces eye strain and fatigue. It's made of a durable, long-lasting construction. It's got a 250-hour lifespan. It is a fast and easy installation. If you'll notice the plug-in right here, you just plug this into your vehicle's existing headlamp sockets.
These bulbs are Department of Transportation-compliant. The specs on it again. This part number is for a quantity of 2 bulbs. The bulb type is the H13. The wattage on it is a dual filament, so the low beam is 55 watts at 12 volts, the high beam is 60 watts at 12 volts. The brightness on it is 900 lumens.

do what their supposed to do
These lamps were pretty easy to install, are definitely brighter than the factory originals. They have been on my F150 for a year now and are still working great. If you want a brighter head light I would recommend these.

Upgrading my headlights was one of the best additions to my truck. I drive through Kansas where there are no lights. Now I do not overdrive my headlights. I have plenty of light on the road.
Wrong bulbs for my model vehicle.
I purchased these items as replacements for when my existing headlights eventually fail. Since I haven't installed them yet, I can't remark on the quality/improvement etc, however I was very pleased with the pricing and the service provided by e-trailer.

etrailer delivered the package before time indicated. there was no damage and the bulbs worked. They were installed in a 2011 BMW R1200 GSA motorcycle. I have yet to take it for a spin at night but they should be better than stock bulbs and they have a lifetime warranty

As for the bulbs itself I was disappointed how dimm it was. Reminded me of a 25W or 40 Watt lightbulb. Don't be fooled by the blue coating. Not the companies fault but still disappointing.

Great product, nice and brite, easy to install and switch out. Doesn't meet VA VDOT approval for inspections so I change them out every year for state inspection, about that time again. So save ou OEM bulbs if you need them. Thanks
