Received the Curt Trailer hitch receiver today. It took about 10 minutes to install the product. (And 20 minutes to figure out how to slightly lower the spare tire-this GX-460 is new to me). Lowering the spare tire about 1-2 inches provided the flexibility to easily bolt up the hitch receiver. All together very quick and easy! We saved $800 by purchasing your product and installing it ourselves. Two dealer quotes each wanted over $900 to provide a hitch receiver and labor. Thank you for making this easy for us.

Installed on my Lexus 2017 GX 460. Hitch arrived quickly and installation was straight forward and only took fifteen minutes with one exception. The hitch did not fit to clear the bottom of plastic bumper without adding 3 spacer washers to each of the 4 bolt locations. Spacer washers (Which I purchased from local hardware store ) were placed between the Curt Hitch plate and the mount location on Lexus Frame dropping the hitch about 1/4 inch to clear the bottom of plastic bumper. The washers do not affect the hitch performance or safety in any way in my option and make a much better fit without having to cut or alter the bumper in any way. Great hitch for a much lower price than ordering from Lexus dealership! Hitch is hidden well and looks great! Going to put it to the test with a 9 hour pull south to Florida for the Holidays
John - 12/22/2020Hitch was damaged when arrived, no hardware was included. I sent etrailer an email describing the situation and Madeline O. suggested that I looks closer inside of the damaged box. I recommend you don’t treat your customers like idiots.

Will definitely recommend this Company! The Curt hitch fit perfect! Had to drop the spare tire and take off the bottom trim panel. Took 10 minutes to install.

Easy to install on my 2019 Lexus GX460, and tucked away nicely!
I am already glad I bought this hitch as it was an easy install in 30 minutes. I did apply medium strength threadlock to bolts. Great fit and did NOT have to lower spare tire. Used a heavy hammer to move spare tire just enough forward to make it an easy fit. Not a mechanic as I bought my first torque wrench for this and am 68 years old! Going to use it to transport 2 bicycles in the area. I am sure it will work just fine.

The box arrived with one end hanging open because of poor taping and sealing . Luckily everything was still inside. Quality product and very easy install on my 2022 GX460 . I used the provided spacer plate and the hitch just clears the bumper . A very clean look .
The spare will need to be dropped down a few inches but this is easy and only adds 5 minutes to the job.
The product was as advertised, installation was simple and only took 20 min ( just a note to do it yourselfers… lower the spare tire & it goes smoothly).
Put this on my 2013 gx460 and towed my small camping trailer for more that 8000 miles last year . From the interstate to forest service roads it did great.
Great customer service. Before I ordered this hitch from etrailer i set up an appointment at UHaul in Charlotte to install a hitch on my SUV. Drove 20 miles to their location only to be informed that the hitch installation guy was a so-show at work. I informed them that I do have a cell phone and I would have expected to get a call. UHaul could care less. After this fiasco I ordered the hitch from etrailer, took me 25 minutes to install. No problems. Great followup. Pleasure to do business with.
This is an excellent product. Easiest install I've ever done. It took 15 minutes and I didn't even have to loosen the spare tire.
Very happy after one year from purchase. Easy DIY install. 4 bolts. You may have to lower the spare tire slightly to get room to line up with the bolt holes. That was not difficult. Have towed trailers and used a hitch platform many times in the past 12 months. Works great.
Hardware was not in box. Product arrived with numerous blemishes, dents, chipped finish, abrasions. Clearly looked like it was used and returned. Slow delivery.

Fits perfectly and installs fast. Just a little tough to torque to specifications aa the bolts are a bit shallow to grip the 19 mm socket. Perfect application as hitch for bike carrier. Had to lower spare tire just a bit.
A perfect fit for my 2022 Lexus GX460 as advertised. Took 10 minutes to install and most of that time was taken up by me searching for my 19 mm socket.
The hitch/receiver was shipped and delivered in a reasonable time frame. Super easy to install and works well, as expected. I would recommend this to anyone with a GX460.

Beautifully manufactured piece of equipment...made in the the USA. Instructions were very clear - for an easy 4 bolt install in about 20 minutes. As covered in the instructions, the spare tire had to be lowered a bit to fit it in. I needed to use the included spacer to avoid having the receiver touch the rear fender. I used masking tape to temporarily attach the spacer to the receiver, for ease of lining up the holes. As always, the assistance during the ordering process from etrailer was exceptional. They are the best and most consumer-supportive company I have dealt with. By the way, Lexus wanted $1,200 to install this receiver, and I am certain they would have used the same part which I bought from e-trailer for $XXX!
Fit perfect and easy install. Took longer to figure out how to put the jack pieces together so as to lower the spare. Easiest upgrade and etrailer's price and shipping could not be beat!
