Ball Displayed

The Hide-A-Goose gooseneck trailer hitch works to meet your heavy-duty towing needs while still allowing you to get full use out of your truck bed. The hitch installs beneath your vehicle to create a low-profile look. Even the safety-chain holders sit flush against your truck bed to take up as little room as possible. The ball easily secures in the hitch with a reinforced locking pin that is operated by a handle that installs in your truck's rear wheel well.

Handle and Storage

This hitch is called the Hide-A-Goose because of its convenient ability to hide the ball when you're not towing. To remove the ball, just pull the handle in the wheel well until it latches in the open position. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then pull the handle again to release it from the open position and reengage the locking pin to secure the ball in the stowed position.

Magent Cover

Once you secure the ball in the stowed position inside the hitch, use the magnetic cover to conceal the ball hole. This cover prevents dirt and debris from getting into the ball hole. This will prevent buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.

Video Transcript for Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Ford F-150

Today in our 2014 Ford F150, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with installation kit part number 9465-37. Now there's a pinhole or guide on towards the passenger side of our gooseneck, and our ball slides along that. We can drop our ball in place like that, and to secure it we just push the handle towards the back of the truck. Now the nice feature about this hitch is we can store our ball by pulling out on it once the handle's been released. Once it's flipped upside down we can insert it back into our gooseneck. If we really want to, we can put our magnet cover over it, give it a nice clean look and that'll keep any dirt or debris from going down inside there. When we're ready to tow again we just release our handle, remove our cover, our ball has a nice grip here on it. We just pull up on it, pull the back around, and re-secure your pin underneath. Hook up our safety chain loops.

These lops are being spring loaded, really easy to use, and they snap back down nice and tight against the truck bed, and don't stick out any. Since they're down recessed inside these channels you don't have to worry about it taking up too much vertical space inside your truck bed and get your cargo damaged by rubbing up against them. This gooseneck hitch is rated up to 12,000 pounds of a max trailer weight rating. Obviously you'll want to consult with the owner's manual of your F150 and go by whichever number is least. You don't want to exceed the limit of the gooseneck hitch, any of the mounting hardware, or the truck itself. Here's what our kit comes with. First off, we have our gooseneck hitch.

We have our rails here, our frame plates, our safety chain loops, and all of our necessary hardware to install it. Our handle to release our ball, and then our 2 and 5/16 inch ball here. The first thing we need to do is measure from the end of our bed and the center of our bed, and make a mark at the amount specified in the instructions. We'll use this as a guide point. First we can draw our quarter inch pilot hole. Once you have the pilot hole drilled, we'll enlarge it out using our hole saw. Okay.

Now we can start our cross member between out bed and our frame rails on our truck. We have 2 cross members, our forward one has 2 more additional holes in the center, and our rear one doesn't have those holes. We'll take our forward one first and I'll show you how to install it. Slide it between the bed and the frame and go on the other side and we'll pull it through. Notice how this flange will face up against our bed cross member here. We'll do the same for the back one.

This one does the same thing. Now we'll take our large carriage bolts that came with our hitch and we'll drop them through the outermost square holes and our cross members. Now we'll take our gooseneck with our handle section facing toward the driver side, an we'll loosely install it using our inaudible 00:04:09 tooth washers. We'll raise it into position, place a washer on with the teeth facing out and install our nut. We want this loose so just a couple turns will work. With our gooseneck head now loosely attached to our rails, we can center everything up properly. Put everything in the right position and install our hardware and bracketry. Now we're on our driver's side of our vehicle. We're going to install our frame bracket onto the studs that come off of our cross members and they'll go to the inner holes on our bracket. Then we'll put a flat washer on, a lock washer, and then we'll put a nut on. We're just installing everything loosely so we can still make adjustments as we need. Repeat the same process on the other side. Now we'll take on of our fish wires here and we'll go through this hole in our frame, and we'll pull the fish wire out underneath the vehicle. This large opening here in our frame is where the wire will come through. We'll just feed it on over to the area and we'll grab our wire and pull it on out. We'll take one of these blocks here, place it onto the fish wire, drop that into the frame, one of our remaining carriage bolts is the smaller half inch inaudible 00:05:59 ones. We'll thread it on to the pull wire and we'll place it in the frame too. Now we'll push up on our frame bracket and pull our hardware through. Now if you're trying to pull the bolt through the back hole and you're finding it difficult, and it gets stuck, this bracket on the driver's side that holds your brake lines and your ABS sensor wires to the frame. If you unbolt the 10 millimeter bolt right here and pull the bracket on down, you'll have room to pull your hardware through. We'll take our pull wire off now. Put our flat washer on, our lock washer, and then our nut. Leave everything loose for the time being. All right, now that we've got our back hardware in place, we don't need to worry about that for the front. Push our back bracket back into position, reinstall the bolt. I'll tighten it back down. Now well take our pull wire and go through the front hole of our bracket, and we'll go underneath and fish it on out. Just like we did on the other one, place our plate onto the wire, and thread our carriage bolt on. Remove our pull wire, place our flat washer on, our lock washer, and our nut. When that's done we'll repeat the same process on the other side. We want to make sure that our gooseneck hitch is centered in the hole that we cut in our bed. Once you verify that we can start by snugging down our hardware, starting with the bolts that hold our hitch to our crossbars first. Now tighten down our nuts that hold our cross members to our bracket. Do the same on the other side. Now we'll do our nuts that tighten our brackets to our frame. Repeat the same process on the other side. Now we'll torque all of our hardware to the amount specified in the instructions, starting with our bolts that hold our gooseneck to our crossbars. Now we'll torque our bolts that hold our rails to our brackets. Repeat the process on the other side. Now we'll torque our bolts to the brackets to the frame. Now we need to drill our holes for our safe chain loops. They'll go through these elongated holes right here. There's 2 on both sides of our gooseneck. We'll drill a pilot hole first. When our pilot hole is drilled we will go up into our bed and enlarge the holes that we just drilled out to 9/16 in diameter. We'll use the step bit that I have marked to 9/16. Okay, with our safety chain loops now fitting in there nicely, we can drop them down. You may notice that one of them is shorter on the other end. That doesn't matter for this particular application, that's for a different model truck. You can put this one in either direction, it doesn't matter which one. We'll grab our other one and put it in as well. Now we can go underneath and install the rest of our hardware. Now take one of our flat washers, place it on, one of our springs, then we'll install a nut. Do the same to the other end of the bolt. Do the same for the other bolt for the other side. Now we'll tighten down these nuts so there's about 3 threads exposed below the nut. Now we'll take our handle and our handle cover and we'll slide the cover over the handle. Once it's sitting flush there we're going to install it. We'll take our handle, slide it over our frame, and we will insert it into our hitch and then secure it with the included pin and clip. With our handle installed now, we can take our handle, pull it out towards us and push towards the front of the truck. Now we can install our ball. That completes our installation of Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with installation kit part number 9465-37 on our 2014 Ford F150.

Great hitch. Easy to install. Hidden when not in use, and able to be turned over for use easily. Pull a 20 ft gooseneck Trailer and tractor with my F150 Ecoboost with it. 673967

No problems at all. Don't understand why this isn't the industry standard now. Ball disappears in bed and you've got all your space back. 665695

After finally getting all the pieces to install the gooseneck hitch I got it installed in my pickup. It went together easier and quicker than I thought it would. I am also impressed by the good customer service from etrailer at getting the issues I had resolved. 643542

This hitch was surprisingly easy to install on my 2013 F150 Crew Cab though I did have to buy a large holesaw for the job. I was able to use the 5,000lb Air Lift bags with the internal jounce bumpers but I don't think that the 2,000lb bags would work. Without the internal jounce bumpers that have to be put in a different place. I would have preferred to use the 2,000lb bags because I believe that they give a smoother ride. I also use a ball with a 5" setback for cab clearance on my horse trailer and 5.5ft bed combination with good results. It would have been nice if they made a hitch with a setback for shorter beds but other than that it is great. 582219

Shipping was very quick. It only took about an hour and a half to install the hitch. Also ordered a 5” extension which worked well with a featherlite 3 horse slant gooseneck hooked to my Ford F-150 with a 5 1/2 foot bed. Great job guys, keep up the good work! 499930

This has been the fastest and most simple install of a hitch I've ever done. The staff ensured that I had the right parts for the right truck. A simple thought, right, well -many other companies just guess. This set up was a perfect fit and finish. I can't give a high enough congratulatory review. And they set up an answer page, optional equipment, and linked install and other videos to the page. Well done! Thank you. 482677

Easy install. It took about 2.5 hours for me and a friend with a lift in his shop to install the hitch. Its kind a scary drilling a 3.5" hole in the bed of a truck. 455878

It was easy to install in my 04 f-150, we have pulled our 20ft 3 horse slant trailer all over the state of Arkansas. The hitch is still easy to open and close, I haven't done anything to it since install. When I buy a new truck, I'll get a new e-trailer hitch for it. Thanks all. 295264

I traded in the truck the hitch was mounted in, for a newer one several months ago but the hitch worked great from day one of install to the day I traded in the truck, the hitch worked great every week when I used it to pull my horse trailer around.

Service from etrailer was great. The part went together relatively smoothly and all items were included (no missing bolts, washers, etc.). 4 of 5 stars only because the directions were somewhat confusing which caused installation to be more of a trail and error ordeal than anything else. 247519

Came with the wrong back cross member or one that had the bolts welded in the wrong place. It took a while to figure this out, after we had the two cross members bolted to the hitch. The bolts then wouldn't fit to the plates that bolt to the frame. Sent pictures to etrailer and they had a replacement sent the next day. Just inconvenient since I had to wait for my free help to come back home. Seems to work fine now that it is installed. 234812

I installed the hitch on a 2011 F-150 crew cab with 5 1/2 ft bed. Works perfect with no clearance issues between the truck cab and a platform style gooseneck trailer. Well engineered product. I would recommend using a lift and removing both rear tires and the spare for more working room. I also marked and drilled the hole for the ball from underneath the bed for a perfect fit. 203602

In the words of Ace Ventura - Pet Detective... Like a Glove! I was in UPS delivery zone 1 - which was suppose to be 1 day delivery.... Boom - Nailed it. Got it when they said I would. I'm sure the manual says this some place but don't forget to wear safety googles! (not to be confused with the interweb search giant). My rustyish pup potty trained me in the eye before I said "self..." Anywho- i pooched my shopping cart order by originally ordering 2 of this hitches- only needed one. Called customer service and to my surprise- I got service! The super awesome representative only shipped 1 and credited my account and still got the order out the door in time for the UPS commitment. Will order again from these professionals again. Thank you etrailer!! 643630

Product is a great fit for my 2016 Ram 2500. The installation videos are dead on which allowed me to install the hitch myself. DIY savings was approx. $125. Tip: In addition to bending the wire on the nut plates, use plastic zip ties to secure the wires. This will absolutely prevent any rattling noise. 400447

This is the second Hide a Goose hitch that I have installed. Once you have lowered your spare tire the hitch goes in smoothly and relatively easily. This hitch went in on my 3500 dually in the morning and was being used by lunch, I have never had a problem with my other truck with the same style hitch, and if I buy another truck this will be the brand that I buy again. 238947

Easy install once you get past the kinda confusing drawings. The safety hooks are pretty short, I just have the nuts flush with threads but can't get the hooks under them. I will have to look for longer ones. Took 3 hrs to install with having to remove hard tonneau cover and bed liner and reinstalling and clean up. Thought it would be worse!! The isolation tape they send with the hitch is kind of cheesy, hopefully it works. Was a great price! 435890

Hitch works great, no problems with the ball or linkages freezing up. Everything seems good. Have used it to pull a cattle trailer 12+ times this year.

Good hitch. Love the drop and lock ball way more than my old hide-a-goose turnover ball. Installed it myself and only had to unbolt the brake like bracket. Left spare tire and exhaust in place. Put the ball in the center piece and slid it up and had my neighbor hold it by the ball while I put the conicals and nuts on. 519709

The only reason this product got 1 star is because I had to give it one star to rate it! Stupid system. The product I bought was the (Cequent) Draw-Tite 9460-48 gooseneck hitch. This is the worse product I ever bought. It is rated on everyone's website as having a 30,000 lb capacity. When you get the hitch you see all of these stickers on it saying DO NOT EXCEED 22,000 LBS. Initially the manufacturer said it was a mistake: they put the wrong stickers on it. When asked for new 30,000 lb stickers they admitted it was only rated for 22,000 lbs. I won't buy any Cequent Products ever. Or any of the Brand Names they sell. Draw_Tite is one of their brands. 315874

Pretty good hitch, I’ve had and installed several gooseneck hitches and this one wasn’t bad to install. It’s well built and appears to exceed my trucks towing capacity, I advise to go ahead and lift the back of the bed up at least 2” to make it easier to install and align the hitch. I installed this on a 2018 GMC 2500 HD. 575037

This hitch is exactly what we needed to pull our camper. Worked great, but not the easiest to install, especially using the instructions that come with the hitch. After watching a YouTube video, which gave a much better understanding, I was able to install the hitch with a better idea of what I was doing. Do to the lack of written instructions I am giving this a 4 star instead of a 5 star. 418586

The box for the installation brackets was busted up (I blame the shipping company for that), but all parts were there. The hitch and brackets are very well made and went easy, but it did take a little longer than I expected. I am planning on putting another gooseneck hitch on another truck I have and will definantely use etrailer again. etrailer had the best price, it came quickly, and they handle quality products. 390721

While initially I was frustrated with what was potentially going to be super slow shipping, the customer service at etrailer was fantastic. We ended up getting the hitch we ordered in a timely fashion and it came with easy to use instructions. The worst part was trying to cut the hole in the bed of the truck, but ended up working out fine. thank you etrailer! Excellent customer service. 553194

Hitch seems to be built fairly well as far as the head and rail kit. The side plates for the frame are not even as thick as my frame rail. Didn't like that. Also a major turn off to this hitch, on my truck, a 2001 dodge 2500 short bed, the carriage bolts that hold the head to the rails, the heads hit the bed floor, enough to where the bed does not sit flush on the frame. 4 1 inch holes had to be drilled in the bed to let the bolt heads through. Also used a hare bigger hole saw than 3.5 to give some wiggle room. But the bolts hitting the floor needs to be addressed by draw tite. Wouldn't recommend for a dodge pickup 191838

The customer service was spectacular which is great to find nowadays. The hitch I had a couple issues with however. Issue 1 was the the u-bolts for the safety chains are to short. I hooked up my trailer jumped in the back and couldn't get the chains in the loops without taking the nuts off the bolts putting on the chains and having my girlfriend push them down while i put the nuts on (I have a plastic bedliner which might have been the main issue here). Issue 2 is that online it says that I can tow 30,000lbs with this hitch. However when this hitch came in it said in multiple places in the mounting kit not to exceed 17,000lbs which makes me kind of nervous since I have to pull some heavy loads On the bright side though the hitch installed easier then i thought it would and I found etrailers YouTube video very helpful for it. I used it to pull a 13,000lb trailer this weekend and had no issues with it I'd probably buy this hitch again just because it's significantly cheaper then the blue ox and b&w hitches but I'd like them fix the above mentioned issues 386546

Hitch performs well. Nice heavy duty steel. I have 4 star bc the measurement for the hitch wasn't quite right on my truck. From end of bed to center was about an 1/8" off. I had to cut out some extra on the cab side of the bed. Once that was done it was perfect. The magnet Drawtite supplies is just pathetic. I threw it away and made my own cover. As far as performance and ease of use I would recommend. There is a YouTube video etrailer has that is also very helpful. I referred to it a couple of times the instructions didn't make sense or I just wanted to check direction and that I was using the proper bolts. In one part the instructions say to use a washer but in the video they do not. I chose to go without. If you just want a good reliable gooseneck hitch for a few $$ less this is the one. 433787

Review from a similar Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose in Gooseneck

Great product, I watched etrailers videos on installation of the hitch before it arrived and began disassembley of the truck, the video is very helpful in understanding the instructions with the hitch, the hitch arrived early in the day on the arrival date etrailer gave me, so I was able to finish installation that day. Thanks etrailer, Jason 463727

Review from a similar Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose in Gooseneck

My son and I bought the Hide-a-Goose set up for his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab. The shipping of the 111 lbs. packages (came in 2 boxes) was fast! Upon arrival, the instructions were right-on and easy to follow. We took our time and the installation went off without a hitch(pun intended!). We purchased the "no drilling required" kit and the only holes needed were through the truck bed. George kept us updated and we really appreciate the guys at etrailer. I highly recommend their products and would most definitely buy from etrailer again! Thanks guys! Leon W. 246677

Review from a similar Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose in Gooseneck

Fast shipping. Everything fit perfect. Hardest thing is fishing bolts up through box frame. Need to use two screwdrivers to keep up off of bottom of frame. I installed by myself in 3-4 hours. 2 people could do it in 2. Second gooseneck hitch I have gotten from Etrailer. Will get next one frim them. I highly recommend. 166295

Review from a similar Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose in Gooseneck

I have bought from etrailer for many years now. Many hitches from a 2005 Toyota highlander hitch and wiring, to a 2012 Chrysler town and country hitch and wiring, brake controller to my most recent one a 2008 dodge ram mega cab gooseneck hitch. Every part I have bought have fit without any modification. The YouTube videos are specially helpful. I've recieved my shipment a few days ago which was way faster then I expected. Today i woke up ready to install it, I read the instructions and watched the YouTube video went under my truck bed and started working on it. I did mess up on the hole for the ball but that was my oops. Very satisfied. 501465

  • Recommended Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for 2008 Ford F-150 4x4 with 5.5 Foot Bed
  • For your 2008 Ford F-150 4x4 with 5.5 Foot Bed, I recommend the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1104 along with the offset ball # BWGNXA4085 to give you 4 more inches of clearance. These are made in the USA. Another great option is the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # 9465-37. This hitch has a 5 inch off-set ball # 19308 available for even more turning clearance. You may...

  • Can I Install a Gooseneck Hitch on a 2013 Ford F-150 with Airbags
  • Which airbags do you have on your 2013 Ford F-150? If you have the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2525 then no, the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 9465-37 will not work as they both install on the outside of the frame rail. If you have the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57200 then yes, the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # 9465-37 will work for you as the airbags install under the frame and the gooseneck brackets...

  • Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for 2005 Ford F-150
  • There are gooseneck hitches that fit your 2005 Ford F-150 but the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16437-104 will not allow you to use a gooseneck hitch ball, it is to add a fifth wheel hitch. For a gooseneck hitch on your 2005 Ford F-150 I recommend checking out the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 9465-37 because of its quality and the fact you do not have to drill into your frame to install the hitch in your '05 F-150. Additionally, this hitch allows you...

  • Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2014 Ford F-150 with Draw Tite Goosneck Hitch
  • I have a recommendation for you, but we do not have an air spring suspension enhancement system that we can guarantee will work with your Draw-Tite Gooseneck Hitch # 9465-37. All of the air spring suspension enhancement systems we have for your 2014 Ford F-150 either mount on the outside of the frame or have a part of the mounting bracket that will come in contact with the outside of the frame. The Draw-Tite Gooseneck Hitch # 9465-37 mounts to the outside of the truck frame, so it is possible...

  • Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for a 2011 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot Bed
  • The Draw Tite Gooseneck Hitch part # 9465-37 that you referenced is confirmed to work on your 2011 Ford F150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed. The review you read about the bed being raised 1.5 inches meant that he raised the bed a little bit to install the hitch. This hitch does not permanently raise the bed of your truck at all. For additional clearance for turning you may also be interested in the offset gooseneck ball part # 19308.

  • Will Curt Gooseneck Hitch # C60721 Fit 2013 Ford F150 with Shortbed
  • The Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch # C60721 is not a fit for your 2013 Ford F-150 with a 5-1/2 foot bed. For a similar gooseneck hitch that is a confirmed fit, I recommend the Draw-Tite Gooseneck hitch # 9465-37. On a bed that short I also recommend adding the 5 inch offset ball # 19308.

  • Where will the Ball of the Gooseneck Hitch part # 9465-37 Be In the Bed of a 2011 Ford F-150
  • When you install the Gooseneck hitch part # 9465-37 in the bed of your 2011 Ford F-150 the ball will end up right at 45-3/4 inches from the rear of the bed edge centered between the two wheel wells. You would need to find that spot in the bed of your truck and then measure to the front of the bed to see where it will be in relation to the cab.

  • Could a 2005 Ford F-150 Use a Gooseneck Hitch to Tow a Fifth Wheel Trailer
  • The big issue is going to be the length of the bed on your truck. If you have a long bed truck then sticking with the gooseneck would be just fine. If you have a short bed you would need to go with a fifth wheel hitch setup since there are slider hitches available that will allow you to make tight turns without cab interference. For a gooseneck hitch for if you have a long bed you would want the part # 9465-37. This would be all that you need. If you have a short bed you would instead...

  • Pilot Hole Location for Placing Gooseneck Hitch Ball in Bed of 2012 Ford F150
  • For the 5-1/2 and 6-1/2 foot bed of the 2012 Ford F150, you'd drill the pilot hole for the gooseneck ball to pass through the truck bed at 45-3/4 inches forward of the rear of the truck bed (not the end of the tailgate.) This holds true for the 5-1/2 and the 6-1/2 foot bed. If you don't already have a 3-1/2 inch hole saw, you'll need part # 58381 and the # 1937 arbor. If you don't already have a 7-way trailer connector installed in the truck bed, you can install one using part # 41157. If...

  • Location of Gooseneck Ball for Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose # 9465-37 on 2013 Ford F-150 Short Bed
  • The 1/4 inch hole for the gooseneck ball will be drilled 45-3/4 inches from the rear of the bed on your 2013 Ford F-150 with the 5-1/2 foot bed when installing the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose # 9465-37. You can take a quick measurement from this point on your bed up to the back of the cab to see how close this will be to the cab. On a short bed like yours I do recommend adding an offset ball like the Draw-Tite # 19308 that will give you 5 inches of additional cab clearance.

  • Gooseneck and Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2014 Ford F-150
  • It really depends on the air bag system you go with and the gooseneck hitch you choose. A lot of the time the mounting brackets for both systems will occupy the same area of the trailer frame so there will be interference. Looking at the air bag systems for your 2014 Ford F-150 like the part # F2525 it would seem pretty hard to fit a hitch in that area. A better solution would be a Timbren system # TFR1504D that will give you the same support as an air bag kit and then a gooseneck hitch...

  • Recommended 5th Wheel To Gooseneck Adapter For 2013 Ford F-150 With 6-1/2 Ft Bed
  • If you decide to change over to a gooseneck system on your 2013 Ford F-150, there may be a couple of issues. With a 6-1/2 ft bed on your truck, if you use a gooseneck adapter like the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter, part # CAB-C5G, you run the risk of hitting your cab when executing turns. You will also want to check with the trailer manufacturer to see if there are any warranty issues when installing adapters on the trailer. Using an adapter would then require...

  • 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Hitches for a 2010 Ford F-150 Supercrew with a 5-1/2 Foot Bed
  • Are you wanting to pull a 5th wheel hitch or a gooseneck hitch or both? The best way to pull any type of trailer is with a hitch designed for that type of trailer. For example you would not install a gooseneck hitch if you want to tow a 5th wheel trailer because you would have to add in an adapter of some kind. Adapters mean more expense, more stress on the trailer, and not as secure of a connection. For a 5th wheel trailer I recommend a fixed 5th wheel trailer hitch and a Sidewinder....

  • Can a Ford F-150 Short Bed Tow a Gooseneck Horse Trailer
  • Yes, you can tow a gooseneck horse trailer with a short bed pickup. That said, you will need to use an offset adapter in order to improve your turning clearance but you may still never be able to make a full 90 degree turn even with said adapters. Therefore, you just need to be careful when making sharp turns but there are many others who have similar setups that work for them just fine.
