With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.

Easy-to-Remove, Simple-to-Store Hitch Ball

The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Operation

When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.

Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.

Simple, Custom Installation

This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.

Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.

B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Accessories

B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer. Even a truck bed utility rack is available so that you can easily haul ladders and lumber with the load placed on the hitch (and therefore your truck's frame) instead of your bed rails.

Video Transcript for B&W Gooseneck BWGNRK1308 Review

Today, were going to review part number BWGNRK1308. This is the B&W Turnover Ball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with the custom installation kit. This part number is specifically designed to fit on the Dodge Ram Trucks. It does fit on many different ones. What I would recommend is to go to the product page on our website of this part number. At the bottom of the page it will list the years, and models, and types of Dodge Ram Trucks that this hitch would fit on. Now, for demonstration purposes, I have already installed the custom installation brackets to there to show you what it would like as it would be underneath your vehicle.

This is a heavy-duty underbed hitch which will let you tow your gooseneck trailer. When you remove the ball, you pull open the handle and twist it. That would lock the handle open. Youll be able to remove the ball. Now, with the ball removed, it would give you complete truck bed access when youre not towing. You can also store the ball by basically just flipping it, turning it over, flipping it outside down, drop it back in the hitch, twist the handle, and then release the pin, it would lock it into place.

Your ball would be stored and youd still have your full truck bed access. Now, there is a pin at the end of this handle here. At the end of this handle underneath here, there is a 5/8 inch diameter spring-loaded steel locking pin, which would slide all the way through this ball and secure it into place, either if you have it upside down or youre going to be towing with it. This access handle right here, that you would use to operate that pin, is at your rear drivers side wheel well. Now the gooseneck inaudible 0:01:38.6 or ball itself has a single piece machine ball socket, provides rugged durability, has a square ball base as you can see here, and also a square ball hole that it sits into. Reason its square is when you drop it into place, it will keep during hook up, the squared design will keep the ball from turning in the hitch during a hook up. Also if youll notice on this square design, the corners are actually chamfered off. The reason they do that so when you do slide it in to your square opening the very corners would be open and that would allow any of the grime or dirt that builds up inside from building up in there and making it harder to get the ball in and out.

With those corners open, it would allow that dirt and grime to fall through. Now, the B&W Underbed Gooseneck Hitch is specifically designed to use B&W accessories that we sell separately. Thatll make it easy to customize this hitch to fit your needs. One of those accessories that we do sell a lot of is the B&W Companion 5th-wheel hitch adapter, and what that would do is that would allow you to use this gooseneck hitch and be able to tow a 5th wheel trailer. We do sell that hitch adapter separately. Basically, the way that would work is you could drop that 5th wheel hitch adapter into the bed of your truck and it would be has a post down the middle that you would slide into this turnover ball opening, and then lock that pin and it would lock that 5th wheel hitch in your truck bed, and allow you to tow a 5th-wheel trailer. They do have these built-in spring loaded safety chain hookups right here.

As you can see, if you pull up on it and release it, it pulls it back down and you slip your safety chains to this. This hitch is a very simple installation. It comes with this part number comes with this included, custom installation mounting kit, and all the hardware you would need. There is no welding required to install it. The truck bed does not have to be removed to install it. The only thing you would need to do to your truck bed is drill a 4 inch diameter hole so you would have access to those turnover ball opening. This part is powder coated steel, which is sturdy and corrosion resistant. It is made in the USA. Now the gross towing weight capacity on this hitch is 30,000 pounds. The vertical load limit or pin weight capacity is 7500 pounds. The ball size on this gooseneck ball is 2-5/16 diameter. This part does come with a limited lifetime warranty.Again, just to show you how that would operate. If youre going to go tow a gooseneck hitch or a trailer with this, just go ahead and drop the ball into the opening. Your handle right here on the side, if youll just twist it to release it, that would release the pin. That 5/8 inch diameter pin would lock this ball into place. If youre done towing, you dont need to tow anymore and you just want to store the hitch or store the ball; pull it open, twist it to lock it into open, pull this out, turn it upside down, there is a little handle here that you can hold onto as you drop it down into place. Once you drop it down in, twist it to release it, and that pin would lock it in to the stored position. Very simple operation. That should do it for the review of part number BWGNRK1308, the B&W Turnoverall Ball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, with the custom installation kit. .

B&W and Etrailer are a great combo. I just ordered this hitch after having a similar one in my 06 Ram. I really like the hitch. I also like that the companion fifth wheel and other B&W accessories can be used on both trucks. I just installed last night and by myself it took about 5 hours. Watch the video and read the instructions. Take your time and do the prep work to get ready for install. I didn’t remove the rear muffler portion and still had plenty of room. I did have a ceiling lift that helps center and lift the hitch portion through the hole. If you don’t have that make sure you have help. Fit as expected with minimal issue. I did not trim the wheel well plastic but may so the handle isn’t hidden. I installed hitch then replaced plastic bedliner and drilled hole through hitch opening from underneath. I also drilled the u-bolt holes with bedliner in and they fit perfectly between the rises. 498168

Received turnover gooseneck hitch and tow & stow receiver hitch very timely. Installed turnover ball without any problems. The adjustable tow & stow works well on the various height trailers and farm implements that I use. This is the second turnover gooseneck I have purchased. One on Ford F-250 the other on Dodge 2500, instructions are great and parts are accurate. Well satisfied with B&W Products and your service at etrailer. Thanks 241992

Called customer service, actually spoke with a real person, Karen, and she verified the B&W hitch kit I needed. She gave email updates on my order. It arrived fast and in good condition. Installed B&W gooseneck hitch, holes did not line up as B&W states. I had to drill holes in the frame myself to continue installation. All else went well. Etrailer/Karen 5 stars and B/W 4 stars. 492495

Install was easy. Set aside a few hours for the install. Only one issue. Directions state crossmember must sit flush with the forward brace of the bed mounts. Found during the final tightening of the bolts, it is impossible to maintain the crossmember against the brace. This caused delay trying to maintain "no gap". The bolt holes in the frame make this "no gap" impossible. 220063

Excellent Product, all parts arrived on time, install went very easy with two people. Only thing I would recommend anyone buying this hitch for a Dodge Ram Mega Cab would be to go ahead and order either the 4-inch extender ball or the Extend-A-Goose Coupler. I order my new Coupler today from etrailer should be here Friday. 540186

I have had three gooseneck hitches in different trucks and by far this is my favorite. Instructions are good but watch the video it really helps you understand how it goes together when you are reading through the instruction and installing. Thanks etrailer for the video! 188942

Review from a similar B and W Turnoverball in Gooseneck

I had the truck restored front to back. The box/bed is in the paint shop so putting the hitch on is even easier. Assembly of the hitch looking at the picture from paperwork, extremely easy. Bolting on to the truck frame easy for hitch mounting holes are cut in correct spot for frame holes so no drilling is needed on truck frame. Bolt the side frame of the hitch to truck frame loosely, then put top section already bolted together loosely on to truck frame tighten all bolts down tight and done. Be careful on starting bolts for paint on inside of the threads makes it hard to start. If you have a tap and die set in SAE 1/2 inch National Course this would work good to clean paint off inside of the threads so bolts start easier. Then you have two choices for your hitch being directly above the rear axle or a bit forward toward the cab of the rear axle. The choice being made by the bolt pattern of the hitch frame. Four bolts holes per side only two are needed. Customer purchasing the hitch has to decide on this decision when they put the hitch on. A great heavy duty goose neck hitch made in USA for the price being paid! 172848

It took me a while to get this hitch installed because there were after market airbag suspension supports that were in the way. After I removed them the installation went a bit smoother. The B&W instructions were so light, I was glad to had the opportunity to view the etrailer.com resource video and other helpful informaiton in determining the rear airbag support could be removed without causing a structural issue to the truck. So if you got these airbags install, know that they can be removed so you can take advantage of this high quality hitching system. I used impact wrenches to loosen the old and install the new bolts... made life a lot easier than with the standard wrenches, so worth the price i invested in the right tools for the job. 405136

Review from a similar B and W Turnoverball in Gooseneck

etrailer not only have a great procedure for online trading or online store, but also a great website....people on similar business can appreciate that as per other this feature can be transparent for them...it takes a great effort of team work to accomplish what this level of a,b,c,d online process to be done the way of etrailer has done. The products are simply well described, well packed, fast shipping. Whether is in stock or direct ship from manufacture, they make it look like is nothing..to me another great team effort and well though software architecture. As often we find instructions from manufacture to be some confusing, etrailer back it up which bunch of literature and videos to easy the process. Device recommendations: I strongly recommend that anyone purchasing this item to purchase also the harness kit, installation is plug and play and it looks part of another factory install. Cons: The part where every instruction or videos said "remove the clamp of the exhaust pipe to move exhaust pipe over" I found that is extremely difficult to accomplish that procedure on a 2014 3500 Ram with a Diesel Engine which it has the extra exhaust regeneration device or so call DPF...where fuel exhaust particles are burn, etc. that makes my vehicle exhaust to be solid almost one foot before reaching my rear end axle, meaning location where I need to be working installing my under bed gooseneck hitch. I did not removed any exhaust clamps and I simply got me a short 22 mm and tight my bolts with a wrench and a hammer. NOTE: ABS harness bracket it looks like is going to be rubbing against the hitch and it is extremely close, but it does not once bolts are tight you will have about 1/2 clearance (will not rub). Last comments, everything fits and everything goes where is says instructions, do not remove your bed of cut your truck in half..jejejejej Good luck, hope I help someone God Bless 174729

This B&W gooseneck installed easily on my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 in a little under 4 hours by myself. The only drilling required is for the holes in the bed for the receiver and the safety chain hooks. I'd definitely recommend a tip I saw online-- use a 3/4" piece of plywood as a template/stabilizer when you cut the 4" hole in the bed because the hole-saw will want to bite and grab badly on the bed without it. Quality product made in the USA by B&W, this is my 3rd B&W hitch and they will last forever. I will use this and another in my wife's truck so we can have one fifth wheel hitch (Companion) that will fit both trucks. Great service as always from etrailer. HIGHLY recommended. Thanks! 340805

Review from a similar B and W Turnoverball in Gooseneck

I purchased the B & W turnover ball hitch from E Trailer for my 2006 Ford F250 SuperDuty. Jan in customer service was very helpful. I received the hitch within 2 days. My wife and I installed it according to the instructions and installation video on their website. E trailer really did their homework on the installation of their hitches. We got the hitch insatlled with minimal problems. All you have to do is follow the video/instuctions. I am very pleased with the hitch and would recommend ETrailer and the B&W hitch to anyone who tows. I tow a 5th wheel with a Ranch Hitch Gooseneck adapter. Now I dont have to deal with the 5th wheel hitch in the bed of my truck. I will continue to purchase other towing accessories from ETrailer. A wonderful experience. 163592

Review from a similar B and W Turnoverball in Gooseneck

The E-trailer videos and instuctions are great! I would suggest going ahead and removing the spare tire heat shield to make life easier with the torque wrench and when drilling the safety chain holes. The other item I am glad I caught before installing my hitch is the size of the hole they want you to use. B&W suggest a 3-1/2" hole and provide a plastic spacer to kinda hide the gap, I didn't like the idea of how this was going to look. I still installed the plastic spacer to support the bed around the hole, but I used a 3-1/4" hole saw and very lightly filed the edges for a much better fit. (Just make sure you hit your pilot hole location.) Test fit the hitch from the top side when checking the hole size. When installing, tighten the bolts to where the hitch just starts to make contact with the frame and then go top side and check hitch/hole alignment. Tap the hitch around with a mallet if you need to line it up with the hole. (Once the hitch was tight it didn't protrude through the bed anyways, so the hole could have been small and still worked). After removing the exhaust hanger, I used a ratchet strap to pull the tail pipe towards the spring to allow access to drill the passenger side safety hook holes. Another tip, I used a piece of rope tied to the ball retaining pin and fed it up through the hole in the bed. My 11 year old son was able to hold it in place this way while I started the bolts. I am happy with the end results and it looks great! The one thing I feel could be better is how far the ball retaining pin protrudes into the second side of the hitch housing, on mine I only have about 1/4" into the second side. I would feel better with 3/8"-1/2" engagement. 302603

The customer service from eTrailer is top notch. I ordered my B&W 1067 the day before New Year's Eve. I had it within 5 days including the holiday and weekend. The B&W 1067 installed pretty easy. I did it myself in about 3 hours. I was lucky that my truck previously had a B&W 1067 installed so I didn't have to drill any holes. The only complaint that I have is I was short 2 bolts in the hardware bag. I didn't worry with calling eTrailer; I just went and bought new ones. 167940

Review from a similar B and W Turnoverball in Gooseneck

The hitch and controller was installed on a 2002 Chevy 2500HD. It took roughly 15 min to install the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller, plug it in and program it. As far as the B&W Turnover Ball Hitch, I cut the hole in the bed and cut the heat shield out the day before while I was waiting for the hitch to arrive. The next day my parts arrived, I laid out all the parts to make sure everything was there and then started the install. I didn't want to cut the 1"x1/2" notch out of my fender well to get the angle iron in so I spent about 15 min. trying to get it up on top the frame from underneath the truck. A waste of time. Do like the instructions say, cut the notch and slide it straight across the top of the frame. It will save time and aggravation. After getting both braces in place I ran a piece of rope down thru the hole and pulled the hitch plate up into place and tied it off. I installed all the bolts finger tight, put the side plates on and tightened everything up. It looks nice and I saved myself a $435.00 installation fee. With out a lift and without taking my rear tires off it took about 3 1/2 hrs. to install by myself. The only thing I want to say to B&W is don't place the heavy metal hitch parts on the booklet with the packets of Lithium Grease in it, they bust as the picture shows. Last but not least, thank you Sherry for all your help with my order and getting it to me quick in such short notice. I really appreciated it. 358380

Review from a similar B and W Turnoverball in Gooseneck

To etrailer's credit the product (B&W underbed turnover ball gooseneck hitch kit ) arrived quickly and in good shape albeit with whining from the "overworked" UPS driver. Installation went smoothly but not having a chassis lift working space was at a premium. There's a lot of fuel and pollution control plumbing along the driver-side frame rails on a '16 Ford diesel so space is tight. B&W's instructions are good but more appreciated are etrailer's videos, they're good. Measure (and remeasure ) the location for the turnover ball hole. Don't trust Ford's dimple, it ain't necessarily right and there's not a lot of wiggle room with a 4" hole. B&W's measurement is RIGHT. I used the Andersen Ultimate Hitch I had with a ratchet strap to support the center section through the drilled bed hole which really facilitated mounting it to the cross members. I was working solo. The only place I varied from the instructions was to partially loosen the bed mounting bolts (8 #45 torx head )an inch or so and jack the bed a couple inches. This really increased the working access for insertion of the crossmember beams and a half dozen of the mounting bolts. Though it's a pain I'd also recommend putting the rearend on jackstands and removing the wheels, much improved access, much improved torquing accuracy. Working solo, not hurrying and first time... about 6 hours. Props to B&W Hitches and especially etrailer. 357056

The object of ordering on line is to find great deals vs local merchants. Well my experience ordering with etrailer went like this. Ordered a turnover goose neck hitch at etrailer. I entered the year, make, model and 4 wheel drive for a 2017 Ford F-250 4x4 and up pops the hitch for this vehicle and once again the page prompted me to put the info again so I did. The product took 7days to ship out and another 8 days before I would receive it. The price of the hitch was $312 dollars. Got halfway through the installation only to discover there are 6 cross members and brackets needed to complete this hitch that are not in the box but all the nuts and bolts for it are there. After a call to etrailer found out those missing pieces are part of a kit for the kit that I order for an extra $227 dollars. So you need a kit for a kit, cross members and brackets missing from the kit, really, who does this? Really aggravated now and don't want the hassle of trying to return installed parts with a restocking fee and all the other bull, I decided to just cut my losses to get this truck rolling and purchase the additional kit. But for those of you looking for a complete hitch, Draw Tite has a complete, no additional kits for around $350 bucks. My bill with etrailer was $539 dollars vs $600 at a local merchant parts and labor. Won't be ordering or recommending anyone to order with etrailer. Very disappointed. 470021

I understand your frustration. The gooseneck hitch install rails are sold separately from the hitches themselves. If you input the year, make and model of the vehicle in the fitguide on our website, youll see the available alternatives for your vehicle, including the install kits.

This is an excellent product! Let's start from the beginning. The ordering was easy and hassle-free. They shipped my order the next day and it arrived as promised. The only issue I had was when I opened the box. It comes in two separate boxes due to weight. The package that contains all the hardware had a slight tear. After inspection I realized one lock washer had fallen out and it wasn't in the box. No worries there, I simply picked up another at the hardware store. Installation was as difficult as expected. You're working under a truck with about 130lbs of steel... it's not going to be real easy but it's not super difficult either (use your head and read the instructions). The instructions are easy to read and understand. I recommend you lay everything out on the ground exactly as it is assembled. That way you can get a clear picture as to how everything will go together when you are under the vehicle trying to hold a 50lb piece of steel above your head. Bottom line though... this system was designed and put together excellently. If you follow the instructions it will install perfectly with no gaps or unsightly holes. This is my first in-bed trailer hitch system. I wasn't sure if I should go with just a goose neck or fifth wheel. This system allows for both. My only regret is that I didn't take pictures as I went along. It truly does go in as easily as they say. 397466

I bought this for my new 2017 F150. I would not buy it again. First off they say in the instructions to drill a 4" hole at 42 5/8" from the back of the bed. Both measurements are wrong. If you use a 4" hole saw which I did the hitch will not fit in the hole. I had to open it up after it was drilled. I ended up with a 4 1/4" hole. I drilled at 42 5/8" as per the instructions. That measurement wouldn't let the hitch be mounted in the center of the hole. It was tight against the back of the hole. Which would of put aluminum directly in contact with steel To get it to fit right I ended up shifting the centerline of the hole 3/16" towards the back of the truck and making an 1/8" shim to push the center section forward to get the hitch centered in the hole. 42 5/16" would have been a better centerline for the hole. Also the bolts for the side mounts are longer then they need to be. They could at least be fully threaded to be able to use the retaining clips as intended. I called B&W about my issues. It's was basically like talking to a brick wall. They acted like I did something wrong. I worked in a machine shop for years working with tolerances down to .0001". I'm pretty sure I can read a tape. Also the paint finish on the hitch is horrible. It flakes of in long strips. If I had to do it again I would look at a different hitch. Possibly a Curt or something else which is less expensive. 397812

I installed this yesterday, along with the Companion 5th Wheel Hitch. Very good instructions, well written, great illustrations. Everything fit perfectly, no struggles with alignment. Very good hardware. Looks to be very sturdily built, the welds looks great. One thing to look out for - on my 2016 Chev 3500 anyway, the exhaust is in the way of drilling the passenger side retractable chain hook holes. You will need an angle drill or drill with a flexible extension cable. Or get your steel rule out and do some serious measuring like I did and drill the holes from the top down. I drilled the accessible driver's side, then transposed those measurements to the passenger side and drilled from the top using a small drill. After hitting the hole, I used progressively larger drills until I found the edge of the 1/2" hole in the center plate, then hogged out the hole the rest of the way with a Dremel grinder. Not a big deal, just had to get a little creative. Over all, excellent experience, from the purchase, the help from customer service (fantastic people!), fast delivery and easy install. Highly recommended! 293451

Talk about putting 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag! Engineering for this goose neck hitch is excellent. Everything fits perfectly and the instructions are very good. One word of advice, where the instructions direct you to remove the plug fasteners holding the wiring harness on the rear cross member, remove them. If you cut them off it leaves a small piece of plastic protruding which causes the mounting holes in the hitch to misalign. The hitch can be installed by one person but after installing mine I highly recommend two. The instructions suggest a motor lift, overhead lift or similar to lift and hold the center section of the hitch in place. I would say that it is essential. The first thing that you will do is drill the 4 inch hole in the bed, when all parts are in place you will need to pull the center section up into the hole that you drilled and then tighten the other parts to the center section. You will need a couple of things that most people don't have laying around, two hole saws, a 4" and a 3/4". You should also consider picking up a 24" long 7/16" bit. You will need this for drilling the pilot holes for the safety chain attachments from underneath the truck bed. An excellent product with instructions written for the first time installer in mind. 183311

This unit was very handy to be able to purchase and install on my Bradford Built flatbed so that I could install my B&W companion hitch with flatbed base on the truck. The welding was all fairly straight forward and didn't require much except for a few washers and a piece of flat steel for a spacer. The one down side is that the hitch pin/handle does not have any built in twist-n-lock method to lock it so the pin remains disengaged for the ball or companion assembly install like on the common B&W under truck bed assemblies I've had on several trucks. We ended up installing the pin slightly out of line so that the tip of the pin would catch on the exterior of the receiver when pulled out and then when I wanted to engage the pin just push up on the handle and press the pin back in. I do like that I can still cover the hitch hole with the cover plate as seen in the picture. 453876

Review from a similar B and W Turnoverball in Gooseneck

This is a high quality, basically bolt in product that fits well and has all ample hardware. The video is priceless and must be watched since it answers many questions otherwise. Spare tire removal is basically mandatory but we did leave rear wheels on. Only a problem when torqueing the side frame bolts. Exhaust is problematic at least for the Duramax. We did loosen some rubber hangers and with 2 people, were able to pull down on the exhaust to slip the center section in. The answer to the drilling for passenger side safety chain hooks is correct. Due to the exhaust pipe, you either punch a small drill hole at an angle from the bottom and enlarge it from the top or measure from the top only (less accurate). We drilled from bottom and enlarged it, which was perfect. Drilling a 4" hole in the bed of a brand new truck is scariest part! Measure twice, cut once, be accurate and with a spray in bed liner, its almost the exact same rear measurement (mine was tight getting the center section through the bed after allowing for the spray in product about 1/8"). Otherwise drill a 4 1/8" or 4 1/4" hole. On GM, the center (width about 25 1/2") is centered on the middle bed high slot, not the lower one. Also, shipping, emails, communications etc. were all outstanding. 330727

A very nice well built hitch. My son and I installed this hitch in 3.5 hours. The instructions were a little vague, but the video that etrailer provided for a 2001 GMC Crew Cab with a short bed, was similar to my 2003, an was very helpful. We removed the rear wheels, and had to cutout a section of heat shield, and cut a v shape in the bed. We didn't have to touch the exhaust, like the video instructed. The braces were a little tight to get in place, but weren't that difficult. We used a tractor, and chain to hold tension on the hitch while we bolted it together. All said and done, I would say make it a 2 man job, and you will be pleased with the results.... 352515

Good quality product, easy to install, and arrived on time. I installed the hitch Sunday afternoon and headed out Monday morning on a 500 mile round trip to pick up a skid steer and grader blade. The trailer and equipment weighed in at close to 20,000#. The hitch performed as it should and the ball didn't bind when I removed it after unloading like other brands I have seen. Overall great product and great service from e trailer. 136808

This is the first product in a very long time that actually exceeded my expectations. First of all it is Made in the USA. Second, it was clearly made by people who not only know what they're doing but take great pride in their work as well. The fit and finish were perfect. I watched B & W's install video on YouTube and was again pleasantly surprised that it was relevant to the exact product I bought. Installation was very straight forward and, again, there were no surprises as between the video and the included instructions B & W had all their bases covered. Even though I didn't have extra help nor B & W's installation tool I was able to innovate with some 5/8" threaded rod and a couple nuts I had laying around. Everything fit together so perfect I was able to complete the installation in around 2 hours with a not-fully-recovered ruptured disc in my back. I have had this in my truck for several months now and I still think it's absolutely fantastic. It is hell for stout and simple to operate. Thank you so much B & W! Lets also not forget etrailer. It almost goes without saying that their service and shipping are prompt and courteous. 172726

This was my Second Hitch to order from etrailer. The first was on my 2012 Ford Transit Connect. This time was on my newly purchased 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty Diesel truck. It did not have the Goosneck Hitch and I have Horses and use a Trailer to transport them. Instead of paying Much More to have the hitch put in, I elected to do it myself. I looked at the Video and read the instructions Twice before starting. Since I am almost 75, I need the help of my son. While he was at work, I did most of the work myself. When he got off work, we finished the job. I will continue to purchase from etrailer. The items fit Perfectly and instructions are Great. In the picture, is Sophie, my dog which watched as we worked. 405070

I purchased my hitch and received it within 3 days. Fast and easy delivery service. I just wish the UPS guy would've at least placed it inside my gate. etrailer has great staff, friendly yet profesional. All of my questions we're answered promptly. The hitch looks great on my truck. I installed it myself in roughly 2 hours. The nice B&W grey color definitely pop's from the black frame. I also have the 5th wheel companion and it looks beefy! Can't wait to tow my toy hauler this weekend. 512541

Excellent product, fits perfectly, after you get the parts in the correct place. Awesome ordering process, fast shipping, and customer support from etrailer. While installing, I had swapped the front driver brace with the rear passenger brace. Working with customer support, I figured out the error. Natalie with support was super friendly and working diligently with me. For etrailer feedback, the install video was done with a F-350. For the 2017 F-250 4x4, the fender well is in the way when installing the disconnect lever. I was able to pop the plastic fender well loose from one clip (off to the Ford house today to buy a new clip), and slide the lever in without cutting the fender well. For B&W feedback, the drawings were just confusing. Old guy's like me can't read the small print, and trying to understand the drawings were from the perspective of 'below the truck' just drove us crazy. B&W really needs to label ALL parts and screws. There were a few times we re-installed some bolts. Next step is to get the spray in bedliner applied. Can't wait to use the hitch! 470128

The products are simply well described, well packed, fast shipping. As often we find instructions from manufacture to be some confusing, etrailer back it up which bunch of literature and videos to easy the process. Device recommendations, The part where every instruction or videos said "remove the clamp of the exhaust pipe to move exhaust pipe over" I found that is difficult to accomplish that procedure on a 2008 F450super duty with a Diesel Engine which it has the extra exhaust regeneration device or so call DPF...where fuel exhaust particles are burn, etc. that makes my vehicle exhaust to be solid almost one foot before reaching my rear end axle, meaning location where I need to be working installing my under bed gooseneck hitch. I did not removed any exhaust clamps, once bolts are tight you will have about 1/2 clearance (will not rub). Last comments, everything fits and everything goes where is says instructions, do not remove your bed or cut your truck in half. verry happy with this product thank you etrailer.com 511302

I received my hitch and was able to install it, with the help of a friend. It would be much easier with a lift, but it is certainly doable by lying on the ground. A mechanic's creeper will save you a lot of headache if you go that route. Everything that was needed was in the packaging, and although the instructions were a little tricky at times, everything went together nicely. I didn't have a 4" hole saw, and had to use a 4 1/8", so it doesn't look as nice as it could have...I highly recommend you go through the list of required tools, and make sure you have all of them, in good working order, before you start! I did not need to cut any notches in the bed lip, or drop the exhaust on my 17 F250, so that was an added bonus over what I'd read prior to purchase. Overall very satisfied with this purchase so far. 375154

2007 Toyota Tundra DC 6.5' Bed Follow the instructions. I had the cross-members and cross-member braces turned the wrong way and thought I was in BIG trouble with the hole lining up with the center section. The kit is well put together and has EVERYTHING you need for the install -tools. Make use of the "Overhead Lifting Device" mentioned in the very beginning. This makes it much easier to get bolts installed in the center section and cross-members. I just tied a rope to the latch pin in the ball socket and wrapped it around a truss in my garage. The heat shield removed in step 2 will not be re-used. Have a small 1/2" drive drill on hand. My 4" hole-saw and 1/2" bits would not fit in a 3/8" drill chuck. I had to use a ginormous Makita hammer drill which made it more difficult particularly with the 1/2" holes for the safety chain u-bolts. Would highly recommend this kit. Everything is well built, well documented, and complete. 201888

This has got to be one of the best examples of the aftermarket and the auto industry working together. First off, the B&W turnover hitch for the 2013+ Ram 3/4 ton truck is virtually indestructible. Couple that with the the Ram trucks frame and bed design which is 'turnover ball ready' and you have the perfect marriage of strength and ease of installation. They really got this one right. High quality, excellent design and craftsmanship, and that is just the Hitch! Don't get me started on the 3/4 Ton Ram! If you have a newer Ram Diesel, and need a turnover ball, you absolutely cannot beat this hitch! My need was for a 5th wheel hitch, so I also purchased the B&W companion hitch which drops into the turnover hitch hole. I will review that product once I have a bit more experience with it. The turnover I have experience with on my last Ram truck pulling goosenecks. Don't settle for 2nd best, you WANT the B&W quality! 273463

I watched the video you guys had posted for my exact vehicle and that made the installation so much easier. Not that directions are hard to follow, but seeing it done live is the way to go. I'm one that likes to do things myself unless it's super cheap for an install, in this case everyone I talked to quoted around $350 to $450. My buddy and I did the install this past weekend and it turned out great. I hooked up to my gooseneck last night and im happy to say this hitch is awesome! Can't wait to show the wife how a gooseneck trailer rides so much better than a bumper pull, I'm trying to convince her to upgrade from a travel trailer to a fifth wheel, I think this will convince her. 356632

How good is free shipping, our Order was placed about 8pm est on Thursday Jan 19th, and arrived Jan 25th before I returned from work at 4pm. Just sold the F-150 I installed the previous B&W fifth wheel hide a ball hitch in. Love this hitch set up, after arriving at a campground and unhooking the camper I have FULL use of the truck bed. Install of round two begins in the morning, directions are simple and easy to understand. George J from E-trailer has been keeping me updated with information about my delivery status and made himself available had I had any questions. Wife and I have been camping for about four years, on our second RV and now our third truck and have been totally satisfied ordering everything we needed from E-trailer over that time, (about 18-20 orders to date) adding to the great products E-trailer provides is the HOW TO DIY videos on many products. 335458

I have purchased 2 of these hitches. The first one was installed at my local shop. This time I decided to go at it myself in my garage. Super easy instructions made this a breeze. Took about an hour or so by myself to install. Love these hitches, super easy to operate and most of all with the flip over design BOOM the ball is completely gone and flush with the bed. I owned a gmc sierra 2500hd and installed a Pop-up hitch. Never again. The ball would not sit flush due to the slide arm running right into the exhaust pipe making a horrible rattlin sound when the ball was in the down position. Will never buy any other hitch but B and W again!!! Love this product. 324915

I ordered this hitch a year ago, customer service called me to verify the model of my truck and installed my self on a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500hd classic the hitch by far has been the best hitch I’ve owned. I have a 32 foot gosseneck I pull and it’s easy to hook up and holds the weight. The springs on the safety chains still work like it’s new and the best part is if I just need the bed I can pull the pin and filp the ball and have the whole bed 546170

The RamBox will not have turning clearance issues with a gooseneck hitch. Both hitches come with a 2-5/16" hitch ball and have a 30,000 lb gross towing weight. B&W hitches are considered to be the best on the market. They are all made here in the U.S.A. and come with a limited lifetime warranty....

  • If the 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 has a diesel motor then both it and a 2004 Ram 3500 use the same B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck trailer hitch, # BWGNRK1313. But if the 2010 has a gas motor then you would need # BWGNRK1308. I have linked videos showing example installations for both hitches for you.

  • 4 Inch Offset Ball to Fit a B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch in a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500
  • The model number originally would have been on a sticker likely on one of the side brackets of the hitch. Depending on how old your hitch is it may no longer be there or be legible. For your 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 the B&W Turnoverball hitches we currently carry are # BWGNRK1308 for the 6-1/2 foot bed Mega Cab and # BWGNRK1313 that fits the 6-1/2 foot bed if it's not a Mega Cab and the 8 foot bed. With that being said it shouldn't matter which hitch you have because part # BWGNXA4085 is...

If you have the diesel engine then you are going to want to use part # BWGNRK1313 but if you have a gasoline engine you are going to want to use part # BWGNRK1308. • To use the B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3500 in the bed of your 2013 Dodge Ram 2500 you will first need to have a B&W Gooseneck Hitch, like part # BWGNRK1313 or part # BWGNRK1308, installed on your truck. • Is There a Difference Between B and W Companion Hitch BWRVK3400 and 3405
  • Basically the two part numbers you mentioned are now just our B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400. B and W uprated the 3400 to a higher weight capacity and changed the part number to 3405. We decided to keep the old part number but offer it at the higher weight capacity. Since you already have the Turnoverball gooseneck hitch # BWGNRK1308 all you'd need is the # BWRVK3400 and you'd be set.
