After it has been secured, this Blaylock EZ Lock ensures that the inner tube can't be removed from the outer tube of your adjustable gooseneck coupler. Simply position the lock around the set bolt, insert the 3/4" diameter steel pin through the bracket and under the bolt, and secure the pin in place with a padlock (sold separately).
An additional coupler lock (BLTL-50-40D or BLTL-55-40D - sold separately) is available to prevent unauthorized access to the coupler latch.

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this set screw lock for your gooseneck from Blaylock. So this is gonna go cover up the set screw so that nobody can mess with it when you're not around. Let's check it out. We got our BigTex flatbed trailer out here in the parking lot today and that's why this lock's gonna come in handy. If we left it unattended, this is gonna cover up that set screw so that it cannot be messed with when you're not around your trailer.
Here's a closer look at how it works. We have our padlock here around the pin on the inside keeping this in place. You see, you can't just pop it off. You can maneuver it a little bit but it's not gonna get you anywhere. You're gonna have to get to the padlock to get to the set screw.
Now the padlock is sold separately. I'll remove the padlock. I'll show you the inside. We have our pin, a bushing to take up some of that space on there, and I can remove the cover. It's gonna be made out of durable aluminum.
You don't have to worry about the weather affecting it. It can hold up. It's not gonna rust or corrode on you. You have the washer that comes with it. That's what slides along this track in here and allows you to attach the cover.
So you just go like this. In place, replace the pin and the bushing, and then padlock's gonna go right back there. Something else I would suggest is looking into the lock that goes onto your Ram gooseneck trailer down here. You see it covers up and keeps anybody from attaching to the trailer or messing with the gooseneck and that's gonna be working in combination with our set screw so that everything's locked up and you don't have to worry about leaving your trailer unattended. Overall, I like to add this lock to the trailer just to keep it safe, especially if you get it with the combo on the bottom of the gooseneck adapter and the set screw. You don't have to worry about anything with your trailer unattended. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hangin' out and hope this helped.
