Truck View

The Remove-A-Ball gooseneck trailer hitch works to meet your heavy-duty towing needs while still allowing you to get full use out of your truck bed. The custom-fit rails install to preexisting mounting points beneath your vehicle. The hitch plate mounts in your truck bed, but sits flush to the surface to ensure a low-profile look.

Removal Demonstration

The ball is held in place by a heavy-duty, spring-loaded pin. To install the ball, first pull back on the lever that the pin is attached to. Then drop the ball into the hitch and release the lever so that the pin can engage the hole in the shank of the ball. Then fold the lever down into the slot that is cut out in the hitch plate to keep it from snagging on anything.

Magnetic Cover

When the lever is folded down, place the magnetic cover over the slot to keep out dirt and grime. When the ball is removed, this cover can be pivoted so that it covers both the lever slot and the ball hole.

  • Can the B&W Ball BWHB94006 Be Used to Pull a 5th Wheel Trailer with a Gooseneck Coupler?
The B&W 2-5/16" Hitch Ball w/ 2" Rise - 1-1/2" Diameter x 2-3/4" Long Shank - Raw - 30K # BWHB94006 is typically used with a standard 2 5/16 coupler, like the Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Trailer Coupler # 12660-97SP for example. However, it can also be used to pull a 5th wheel camper that has been converted to connect to a gooseneck ball with something like the Reese Goose Box # RP85FR. With that being said, the # BWHB94006 should not just be attached to the bed of a standard 2005 Ford F-150...

  • Will the Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Fit in a 2004 Ford F-150
If you have a 6-1/2 or 8 foot bed on your pickup and it is the new model, not a Heritage model, then The 6300-4437 Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck trailer hitch will fit your vehicle. If you have a Supercrew with the 5-1/2 foot bed, or any model with a bed less than 6 feet, then we do not have a Gooseneck hitch to fit your vehicle.

  • Draw Tite Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for 2008 Ford F-150
The bed of your truck is not strong enough to carry the weight of your gooseneck hitch with just the Remov a ball part # 6300 installed by itself. The bed would get damaged. You need the frame bracing to go along with this with part # 6300-4437 instead. This comes with brackets that attach it directly to the frame of the truck making it strong enough for towing.

  • Is There An Offset Hitch Ball For A Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch For A 2012 Ford F-150
Though we do not have an offset ball that will fit The Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 6300-4437 we do have an offset adapter that you can consider like The Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3139 which has a 8 inch offset. You can also consider The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 which has a 7-1/2 inch offset both will work if you're trying to tow a 5th wheel trailer. For a gooseneck hitch setup for your 2010 Ford F-150 5-1/2 foot bed that does not require activating any levers in the truck bed the Draw Tite hitch part # 6300-4437 would be the hitch to get. The ball doesn't flip over though. It would just remove all together. The release handle is on top of the plate though.
