The Curt EZr Double Lock underbed gooseneck trailer hitch provides a sturdy, secure connection for towing your gooseneck trailer and also allows for a clean, unobtrusive look for your truck bed when you aren't towing. To tow, simply pull the included handle out to unlock the hitch. Then insert the chrome-plated hitch ball into the ball hole. You may need to rotate the ball to line it up with the dual locking pins. When the ball drops into place, rotate the handle counterclockwise until the locking pins snap into position. Because there are 2 locking pins instead of 1, you get extra security for your towing setup.
Get full bed access when you're not towing. Just remove the ball, flip it upside down, drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch, and use the handle to lock the ball in place. A rubber cover is included with the EZr Double Lock. When the ball is stowed upside down in the hitch, place this cover over the ball hole to keep out dirt and grime and create a clean look for your vehicle.
The innovative center locator tool included with this gooseneck trailer hitch is designed to make installation fast and easy by eliminating the need to measure where the ball hole must be cut into your truck bed. Once you have the custom installation kit in place and the gooseneck hitch is properly attached to the rails, the bright orange locator will help you to finish installation.
Use the hole at the center of the locator to line up your 3/16" drill bit, and drill up from beneath the bed to create a pilot hole. This pilot hole will be your guide as you cut the 4" diameter ball hole into your truck bed.
When you begin cutting through your bed, the locator will act as a trim shield, ensuring that you don't drill too deep. Continue cutting from the top of your truck bed until orange shavings appear. Once you see these shavings, you've gone far enough. The center locator can be easily removed from the hitch once installation is complete.

The chrome-plated ball on this gooseneck hitch locks in place with 2 pins for extra security. When you're done towing, flip the ball over and store it inside the hitch, freeing up your truck bed. Innovative center locator eases installation.I have had a few different GN hitches over the years and this model is top notch. The installation was straight forward and the drill guide made the location of where to drill effortless. If I had to pick a place where improvement could occur, it would be the resistance of the safety chain loop springs. They ensure rattles don't occur, but getting the chain loop inside can be difficult at times. Overall the construction is very robust. The nice touches such as the rubber cap and the price point make this a great option. I would repeat the purchase. 746379
Not as handy as a flip up ball but plenty stout. A very good, strong setup for the money. I was able to install w/o taking off the bed which is a big plus 936078
Great hitch. Pretty straightforward to install. 880369
Haven't installed yet, but it came quickly...Thank you 864392
Nice clean look. Most importantly didn't have to lower exhaust. centering the hitch in the bed was easy because of the template provided. Although install did take longer than what was noted, it was fairly simple. Would definitely purchase again. 821676
Install is a little bit of a pain if you plan to DYI without any kind of lift. Has worked great pulling a 30ft 5th wheel. 790798
everything fit perfect, took a while to install, but that was expected for a non mechanic. 733962
fit just as it should 729682

All I can say is WOW. In two days I received the Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Installation Kit. I plan on using this Gooseneck with an Anderson 5th Wheel hitch. I haven't installed it yet but I do plan on installing very soon as we have purchased a 5th wheel Travel Trailer. As soon as it is installed, I will post some pics. Again, I cannot believe it arrived in two days. 381770

Easy install, although since this is a dual pin lock on the hitch ball, there's no alternative hitch balls available that can work with offsetting or using a different 5th wheel hitch, such as the B&W Companion. 628761

GREAT Service. Received a phone call on the same day as the order to confirm the order. Even down to where it was to be left. Several e-mails letting me know the progress. Received it in 3 days after the order. One day was Sunday so i guess it doesn't count. All the parts are there. I do have an issue with UPS. The instructions on the label says LOT # 2 Montana. They left it at the entry house instead. Having a dislocated arm and loading and unloading was not good. They need to work on that. Yes the camper can be easily seen from the house. Can't wait to get it in. Thanks 479849

The hitch works fine and was easy to install. Everything fit well with one exception. The rod that locks the ball in place from the wheel well is too short. I expect it is the wrong rod for the 2013 Ram pickup. I made an attempt to contact etrailer to get another, but failed to contact anyone. Can you put me in contact with someone who can assist me in getting a replacement? 602101

Review from a similar Ezr Double Lock in Gooseneck Hitch
The hitch was received in a very timely matter, ordered then three days it arrived. FAST! I didn't install immediately.... about three days went by... After work I tried to read the so call instructions and started assembly... start time 3:30 pm end time 8:30pm had all but the latch and rod handle and springs to install. I did that the next day. Bolting the receiver part under the bed was definitely a TWO PERSON job or at least with some kind of blocking or jack may be used... As far as the total receiver bolting and receiver installation, *follow the instruction* it's really laymans terms and pics help tremendously! It does get very frustrating putting the ball pin rod in the ball pin... If I may suggest, in your companies instruction advising to inform the installer to use needle nose locking pliers to clamp the spring back in front of the 3/8" washer on the hitch rod WHILE installing the small little bolt into the hitch pins! This way, It gives the installer adequate adjustment to have to install the hitch rod and pins since one can hardly see the hole if they are aligned or not. Other than that little difficult issue, It was pretty smooth and easy... (just alot of struggling and dirt) if you don't mind... Very pleased with this product!! 544221
Review from a similar Ezr Double Lock in Gooseneck Hitch
The hitch itself seems to be of good quality, well made, and there was no need to raise the bed of the pick up. Still, when it was delivered the box seams were open, the big parts were banging around, and the plastic bag containing all the small parts had broken open and the parts strewn about the interior. The ups guy and I picked up all the parts we could find on the driveway and thankfully I only had to make a couple of trips to the hardware store to buy what was lost. Had one of the custom pieces been lost, the 2 hour installation would have stretched into weeks. As it was, without a hoist and air tools it did take a couple of days. The video on this site was of immense help as the printed instructions were all too brief. I would suggest that the video incorporate wide shots periodically so the viewer can orient to the truck before going in for close ups. Finding a 5/8" hole saw was no easy task either but I did find one eventually. As always, its never as easy as it looks on TV. 567414
Review from a similar Ezr Double Lock in Gooseneck Hitch
Installed on a 2002 Ford f250 short bed. this was very easy to install just as specified I chose to remove my 5inch exhaust to make for more room and easier install but it went in smooth and the exhaust went back in with around 1 inch of room to spare so not much modification. The only problem that I have ran into is for some odd reason when I hook up our gooseneck trailer the tongue weight brings the suspension down enough that the side plates actually hit the u-bolt studs that hold the leaf springs to the axle. So idk what’s going on with that but not real happy about it I’m going to have to cut my u-bolts down some in order for it to be able to ride smoothly otherwise the bracket hits the u-bolts every time you hit a bump and it doesn’t sound pleasant at all. Not sure if it’s just this hitch or other ones that do it but the side plates have an edge that sticks out and it’s slamming off of the U-bolts. 610293

Installed on my 2006 F350. Haven't towed with it yet, but construction appears solid and well designed. Installation was easy, but took longer than the 90 minutes advertised for a novice. 925124

The Curt EZr Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch (C619-648) is a solid hitch and worthy of praise. Had no issues installing on 2006 Silverado 2500HD and fits frame/bed perfectly. 817813
