Plus, it has enough power to run two 15,000 BTU air conditioners at once, so you can beat the summer heat and stay comfortable wherever you park.
After a long drive or when the weather turns wet and rainy, nobody wants to wrestle with a bulky generator. With one-touch start, automatic choke, and remote switching capability, powering up is always simple, rain or shine. All you have to do is press the power button and relax. And the built-in shutoffs handle low oil, overloads, and engine quirks automatically, so you can settle in for the night with your fridge cold, your CPAP on, and no worries about unexpected shutdowns.
This generator uses sound-dampening technology and a special muffler to help keep things peaceful. You won't have to raise your voice for campfire stories, cut conversations short, or lose sleep to engine noise. It also meets National Park Service noise guidelines, so you can experience brilliant fall foliage in the Great Smoky Mountains or visit the steaming geysers at Yellowstone without worry.
From routine oil changes to swapping out the air filter, service is straightforward. No need to be a mechanic—just basic tools and a few minutes are all it takes to keep things running strong for years to come. And with built-in self-diagnostic capability, troubleshooting issues is faster and easier so you can spend less time on maintenance.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our Cummins Onan Quiet Series Onboard RV Generator, 7,000 watts of power running on gasoline. Folks, if your old generator finally gave out after many, many, many years of great use, this Onan 7000, fits right in the same spot as your original. You're still gonna need to hook up the fuel line, the electrical, and exhaust, but the major work has pretty much already been done for you from the factory. Plus, this big boy has enough power to run two 15,000 BTU air conditioners at once, so you don't have to worry about beating the heat in the summer. You can stay comfortable wherever you want.

Now, this, again, will give you instant power on demand. It's a reliable one-touch startup, so it's gonna keep your RV, the AC, the fridges, air conditioners, all your essentials running great. It has extra quiet soundproofing inside of here. And the enclosed muffler means you're gonna have quieter days and quieter nights. The spark arrester USDA-approved muffler is also safe for national forest and campgrounds, so you don't have to have any mods that you're gonna have to worry about doing to be in compliance.
And like I said before, it's quiet. It does meet the National Park Service requirements of that max 60 decibels at 50 feet. This one is 70 decibels right up close to it. So when you're far away, it more than meets that as well. So I wanna go ahead and take off the front panel here for you.
Just simply pull and top it off. As you can see, you can see some of that sound dampening that's built inside of the housing here. But more importantly, now you have access to your switch, your two circuit breakers, and your oil and your filter as well, and the wire. So, I do want to go ahead and pull this whole top off. I went ahead and took off the four main bolts holding the housing in place, so we can get a good look at the inside together as well. So, bear with me here real quick. All right, so like I said, now you can see the start and the main circuit breakers here, the main harness. Again, everything on your rig should be ready for this to be plugged in. And you also have a length of wire here as well. You have your fuel supply hookups right here. And then of course, you have your positive. And then, like I said before, your filter and everything. Now, this is gonna be great for the long haul. It's great, reliable, long-lasting. Power output's gonna be perfect, again, replacing your well-traveled original one. And it has built-in shut off. So, if you have low oil, you get an overload or anything like that, engine issues, it's gonna automatically shut itself down and preserve itself the way you can get it looked at or do the maintenance that's needed on it. This mounting tray is a universal mounting tray. It's gonna come with some bolts and stuff to mount it in place. And you kind of see, the whole system sits on a four-point vibration isolation system using its alloy aluminum crank case and iron cylinder liners inside the whole unit is gonna help drop some of that weight as well. So again, the muffler's quiet, the isolators, everything's gonna be great for you. Now, if you are worried about routine maintenance, it's pretty simple, just some oil changes. Swap out the air filter. All you're gonna really need is some basic tools. You don't have to do mechanic. All that information's gonna come inside the box with the instructions. But again, feel free to reach out to us at etrailer.com if you have questions about that as well. One last look before we go, folks. From the top down, you can see a little bit better that main system here, muffler. And again, everything here sits on these isolators, which is really nice. I like the fact that it keeps it nice and quiet and keeps that vibration down to a minimum. Well, that's gonna wrap it up, folks. Thanks again for your time. I'm Steven, have a good one.
