Solid hitch receiver! Took me roughly 1.5 - 2hrs to install by myself, and that's with running back and forth trying to find the right tools. Definitely recommend. Installed on 2024 RAM 3500 Dually
Easy installation with parts that fit perfectly. A very good product. I lost instructions and cut patterns and did whole install with etrailer video.
Overall fitment and function is 5/5, no complaint there. It's a solid unit and fit like a glove. My lack of 5 star review is due to the customer experience (no fault of etrailer). Box was broken, so parts were flying everywhere. It's one giant bag of hardware, nothing is labeled. After going through it all, one part was missing, but wasn't needed for my install. The instructions I got were for a different vehicle altogether. etrailer customer service was great to confirm I had the right shipment, and got me the proper instructions. The instructions contained multiple typos on the hardware, referencing a 200mm bolt that didn't exist, etc. Doing it in my driveway as an amateur, without a lift, and just hand tools, it probably took about 8-10 hrs beginning to end. Recommend setting aside a weekend to do it. Torklift video on YouTube is worth a watch also. It Torklift improved packaging/instructions, it's easily 5 out of 5 stars. Torklift can't be beat for quality.
Nice front hitch assembly. Bolted into my 2024 diesel 3500 RAM fairly straightforward. Do watch the installation videos they help clarify the written instructions. I use the front hitch primarily for a step to be able to see/service the engine area. The new trucks are too tall to see or reach anything in the engine compartment. Climbing on the bumper is too dangerous especially with snow/wet shoes. Not a pleasant experience slipping and falling on a hot engine. Having a 2” receiver up front does allow for use of a portable winch, bike rack, or slide in deck for additional hauling space. East coasters often put a deck up front for an icebox and surf poles. I’m very pleased with the hitch.

I was very impressed in the quality of this hitch and the thought that went into the installation kit. The end result is a very strong hitch, clean look and a very nice integration around the truck, specifically how it tucks up close to the cooler on the Diesel.
My only suggestion is for shipping/packaging. the only part you see after install is the 2" receiver opening, and it was the only part that was scratched badly in shipping, poking out of the box; it is going to rust.. :( I'd like to see a cap or other protection on this painted portion of the hitch.

I think that would be a great idea on the shipping end of things. In the mean time though, let me see about getting you some paint credit to be able to touch it up for now. Also, would you care to send in a photo of the hitch on the truck - sounds like you have a pretty cool set up!
23' Ram 2500 Diesel. Straight forward installation. I used a floor jack and jackstands to get enough clearance for installation, a lift would have been much easier. I use the front hitch to move a 25' Ocean boat down a long winding driveway and a narrow gate. So much easier to move the boat now. High quality receiver, value equal to purchase price.
Easy to install and works great. I mostly use it for a bike rack when I have my cab over camper in the bed of my pick up. Etrailer is the best at showing videos to include installations and measurements to make me 100% confident before ordering.
2019 Ram 3500. Hitch looks great and installed easily. Hitch parts were wrapped up nicely and delivered with no damage. I have only an average tool box and some of the factory bolts were very difficult to remove. The videos were spot on the the written directions that came with hitch were great for reference. Highly recommend and would suggest over the lighter duty hitches available.
Simple installation, took about an hour. Does what I wanted it for, cargo rack or bike rack. I have a truck camper and the hitch allows me to carry extra gear without obstructing access to the camper door.

Still satisfied would recommend if someone wanted a front hitch, purchased a different model for a different truck to use as a spare tire carrier
This hitch was a breeze to install and was totally exited for the bonus licence plate adapter that goes in the hitch receiver when not in use.
The hitch arrived with holes in the box but all parts were accounted for. Installation went about as indicated in the video. It took 2 of us about 8 hours working on the floor. Good fit and works great. Very sturdy.

Works as designed. Nice profile, almost hidden when not in use.
Awesome product. Shipped right away and revived on time. Took it to my local shop to install and they raved about the installation video being super helpful. Excited to put this product into use this weekend. Great service, great product, great team over there at Etrailer.
Well built heavy duty Hitch. Easy to install. Just watch the video. I did not remove the transmission cooler shroud and was able to easily trim it to fit.
Install was straight forward and the fit was good. very happy installed on a 2023 Ram 3500 Limited 4X4 with 6.7 turbo diesel HO. Installed a 12,000 lb. winch on it.
Exactly what I needed took me about 45 mins to put on by myself. Only thing I haven my done is put the air dam back on it didn’t come with the template so got to figure the cut out but other than that it’s awesome. I love it because I can use my winch on the front or back now and I don’t have to keep my winch on the truck I can store it in my tool box out of sight
It was relatively an easy install. The instructions were easy to follow. I would suggest clearer pictures but probably adds an expense for printing.
I will be receiving my plow soon and will be able to give it a good test. Then just need a snow storm to get full benefits.
I read reviews prior to purchasing and should have listened to other customers, big waste of time and money. Hitch is banged up, missing paint and parts.
Great hitch, Arrived in a torn open box with all the hardware missing called etrailer spoke to Madison, told her parts were missing. she asked fo pictures of the torn open box. Received box of all missing parts the next day! Great service.

We were thrilled to find a hitch that would fit our Ram 3500 diesel truck. Wish we could have arranged for less expensive shipping as we are in Canada and it added up pretty fast with exchange rates etc
Put the hitch on my 2020 Ram 3500 dually in a couple hours, (bevies included in that time). Instructions were straight forward. Installation was relatively simple with truck on ramps. Bought it so I could mount the winch in the front of the truck or rear. It saved my butt this winter when I backed down a steep icy driveway with a trailer attached and was unable to go back up. The hitch was strong enough to hold the winch and pull the truck and loaded trailer up the driveway. Paid for itself after one use.
Installed the hitch this morning, all went as anticipated. The directions provided were excellent and if you couple the videos you will have no problem with the installation. Just take your time. Have fun with the installation. Did do one thing different from the directions and used a 1/2 drill bit to create a radius on the inner side of the air dam cut outs, the radius made a custom tight fit around the receiver tube.

Have used the front hitch a couple of times with great success maneuvering trailers into tight locations. One benefit is the added protection the hitch provides to the front end of the trucks inter cooler and other components. To me front hitch’s should be required on all trucks 34 ton and up. The applications are almost endless as to functional uses a front hitch can provide.
Fit well and I've used it several times, it is holding up real good and I can load my motorcycle on the front of the truck when I'm traveling which I done several times.
Also does great if you want to hook up and move trailer and you don't want to use the back hitch.
I took a quick look under it and it's still solid with not even any spot rust, I think the value of this is far worth it!
