I Installed a Draw-Tite front mount hitch on a 2019 Ram 1500, Big Horn, Gen 5 (not classic). The hitch tube comes to 1/2" below the front bumper and is set back under the top edge of the bumper/airdam. The cutout in the airdam started 3/4" from the top edge and about 3" long and stopped right before the bottom curve and cut 3" wide. This fit with about 1/16" clearance on each side and top to bottom was perfect with no visible gap. I used a Dremel Oscillating Cutting Tool with a flat blade to cut the hole in the airdam and to cut out the notch in both of the airdam supports. Using a razor knife to cut the hole would be very difficult.
My install time was about 3+ hours (no lift) lying on my back and the hardest thing was getting 2 of the mounting bolts torqued to 115 ft. pounds. This also required 2 people to install the hitch and reinstall the OEM Splitter. I do not have OEM tow hooks, so I don't know if the hitch would work with them installed. I purchased a MaxxTow Tow Strap Loop for 2" Trailer Hitches - 10,000 lbs - MT70029 to use as a pull point for my tow strap. etrailer was very fast with shipping, 3 days, 5*****.
Excellent hitch easy to install , the only thing i did different from the instructions was i did not remove the upper air dam ,i just made a cut on one side of the 2" left at bottom after you cut the hole out and hitch goes right up. 1 piece aluminum strip behind and 3 pop rivets with a little flat black paint on rivet heads ,done . i use mine for a surf fishing rig .
For 2020 Ram Ecodiesel, had to modify the instructions due to the intercooler. Support bracket brace has to be reversed and bolt in from top, and couldn’t put the 4 bolts for lower air dam back in that are in the very center. Other than that, seems like it will do well!
Was able to have a buddy install this on my 2020 Ram Rebel EcoDiesel. He had to cut a small square in the front bumper and remove the tow hitches completely. The Air Dam also had to be adjusted a tad, but it all ended up fitting. I was hit head on in an accident recently and they said the Front Hitch saved my truck. It didnt even budge or warp at all.
It’s great, except for the fact that I had to remove the 2 tow hitches in the front in order to install it.

It’s great and I like having it, however the one downside was that the recovery tow hooks had to be removed in order to install it. It’s not a big deal since I just put a recovery hook in the receiver. It holds my 12,000lb winch fine!
Easy install, took longer to remove all retaining clips. Did have to cut bushings off of bolts that held tow hooks . Measurements are spot on for hitch cut out . Thanx again for your help.

This hitch is intended to fit with a 2019 Ram 1500 new body style without tow hooks. I checked and we currently do no have a hitch to offer that would fit with a 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel model.
