I put this on my 2022 F450 so I can carry a bike rack while carrying my slide in camper. Overall fit was great and the video on this site was very helpful. I did have to slot the brackets on the auxiliary cooler about 1/4" with a file so it could sit up higher so the hitch wouldn't put a lot of pressure on it. After that it all fit together nicely.

Hey James. Where are you planning on taking the slide in camper and bike to?
Straightforward installation. Would be easier with two people but was manageable with a hydraulic jack and some patience. I suspect it will do exactly as I need providing a mounting spot for my plow and for a bike rack. etrailer has always been my go-to spot for things like this.
The hitch is great and everything was as described except there is only one hole in the receiver. There is no 2nd hole for a j-bolt pin as described in the video. This is not really a problem for me as my intended use for the hitch is to mount a bike rack which doesn't need the j-bolt pin.
I only gave it 4 stars because I found the hitch to be harder to install than depicted in the video. Getting the 4 spacers installed was problematic. I only had room to install spacers on one side and even that was tight. Trying to slide the hitch into place with tape holding the spacers as shown in the video did not work for me, as they were pulled off when sliding in. Also, getting tools into the area to work was very difficult. My 1/2" drive ratchet and torque wrench didn't have enough room to work in the space. I just had to get it as tight as I could with a smaller ratchet and that was time consuming since there was limited space to move.
Bolt that goes through the super spring pieces and attaches to the bump Stop bracket snapped in half and the pieces were lost on the road. Going to do a warranty claim. The other three seem to be in good condition
Shipping was super fast. Always had great luck with etrailer, highly recommend them. I have put these on all my prior trucks. Never been dissapointed. Install took a lot longer than the two hours it said but that is on me. It does say for install by a professional, I am not LOL.
I installed this on the front of a 2018 F350. Fit an finish is great. Install was easy and directions simple to follow. Having another set of hands was very helpful, else it would be a balancing act I imagine. No drilling needed except for the cutout in the valence. My use is a cargo basket for four bikes and a kayak rack when pulling my fifth wheel. I have a receiver splitter that allows me to have both the basket and Yak rack mounted at the same time. Load up the toys and go...

Please keep in mind that the hitch has a 500 lb vertical load limit, which means that the hitch receiver tube can safely withstand a total of 500 lbs. This means that the combined weight of everything bearing down on that receiver, the bikes, the cargo tray, the splitter, the upright load bar and half the weight of the kayaks cannot exceed 500 lbs. Youll also want to make sure the splitter youre using has sufficient capacity for what youre asking it to do.
Product is heavy enough it won't get damaged in shipping.
You could do better at packaging

Great, it has been a phenomenal help when backing the camper, trailer into a tight spot. I love it!
Reasonable price, fast shipping and good product. I had to remove my front bumper to install it but that was much easier than I anticipated.
Solidly built, all hardware included, but shims too thick and replaced them with washers about 1/2 the thickness. Overall a high quality product.
Nice addition to our truck camper for a cargo carrier up front.
On time shipping - hitch bolted on just like it is supposed to. thanks

Pretty much a strait bolt up job. Trickiest part was cutting the plastic shroud so the hitch could be mounted just below the bumper. I use this hitch when I need exacting placement of trailers and to load extra gear on a hitch hauler on the front of my truck... I love the extra space.
The Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch Receiver was a perfect fit on my 2019 F-350. The instructions and the installation video made installation straight forward. It is possible to install in your driveway - just have a couple of 5 gallon buckets handy to support the receiver while you line everything up and move it into place. Also note that if your Ford has bash plates installed on the frame where the receiver is mounted you will NOT need to install the spacers provided with the receiver.
As my normal experience with etrailer, shipping was fast and communication was great. Even an email to customer service I sent on Sunday morning, expecting an answer from someone Monday, was actually answered later that day. As with previous hitches I have ordered from etrailer the hardware was securely taped to the hitch itself - a good idea considering the boxes almost always show some damage from the delivery process. The hitch appears well made and fit as it should. The installation video on the etrailer website was very helpful (note the presenter calls it a Curt hitch, but the Draw-tite part number is displayed.) I did find it easier to wait until after the hitch was held in place with the lower fasteners before I ran the fish wires for the other two on each side. This was installed on a 2020 F250 and the skid plates (aka compatibility brackets, "Prius catchers") were left in place. Spacers were included to allow for brackets not being present.
I mounted this on my F450 the day I received it. Although some of the details from your instructional install video varied for my vehicle, the advice to remove the bumper was spot-on. I thought it might be a lot of trouble to do so, but it was simple, and it allowed me easy access. I did not even have to use the wires to fish the bolts through. This receiver will be used for a big bed extender (goal post) in conjunction with a single roof rail to haul our kayaks while towing our 5th wheel. We’ve used this setup on our previous truck, an F250, for 4 years and can’t stand the thought of leaving the kayaks at home. Next up, figuring out the rail for the roof.
Service and shipment was excellent and very much appreciated. Install was less than two hours in the driveway. Other videos were right about directions making the hole to large but other than that fairly simple install. Looking forward to putting it to use!

Its Great being able to use the front hitch for the tilt-n-go and freeing up my back hitch. Good value for money!
Both items are very well made. However it would be good if e trailer would add the fact it cannot be used on the front of newer trucks. I own a 2024 F350 King Ranch. Adding the carrier on the front interferes all the perimeter sensors and adaptive cruise control.
My item left a major hub in Salt Lake City and took a tour across the country wasting time and fuel to Dallas Texas to who knows where else before it will arrive in west Colorado, supposedly on Wednesday, when I could’ve been delivered by Monday, but it took a cross country tour! For that you get a single star for using wasteful services!
good product, easy install.
Received the hitch on time. Actually a day before the scheduled delivery day. UPS always delivers and the drivers are great! Installation was easy once I I figured out how to use the fish wires. It is installed and I use it with a bicycle rack, luggage basket, and pushing a hay wagon into the barn is so simple rather than backing.
Front hitch receiver came right on time. Sadly, the box was quite damaged, with corners of the equipment hanging out. Upon opening the box, I discovered there was only a couple of small rolls of corrugated cardboard for support so the 20+ lbs of dumb steel was free to "rattle around" I put this poor packaging on Draw-Tite, not etrailer. I'll update after the install on my F-350.

After a year, I don’t know how I survived without this thing. I have had bikes, crates, and a motorcycle on my front hitch and it performed perfectly. I wish I could give it more stars.
A tight fit with the bash plates on my 2023 Ford F250. I also cut a 3 inch square air dam hole instead of 3 1/2. But had to extend the top of the hole due to the slope of the dam. The hitch pin hole barely clears the air dam. The hitch pin clip will rub on the air dam.
Followed the instructions and watched the video, fit right up and cut out measurements for air dam were spot on. Recommend to all who are looking for this type of setup!
