Quality product has worked well for me. I use this front mount too carry a folded up wheelchair/mobility scooter lift to Fla. Most assembly was done with one person, however it did require two people for about 10% of the install. 582181
A great front hitch. I liked that it could be inverted to be below the air dam. Used it for carrying bicycles. Traded the truck and will be ordering one soon for a new F450. Curt has some good designers. Really like the Q16 with roller slider and now the Q24 with the puck mounting system. Fine products! 355880
Installed the hitch on my 2016 Ford 350HD without much difficulty. (would be no difficulty if I had a helper to help do some lifting, but just myself - me and a jack). The receiver can be installed either with the tube low or high. High meant that I had to cut a notch in my air dam, so I installed it low which still had good ground clearance. If I ever need it higher, then the attachment plate allows one to just reverse the bolt placement and cut a notch in the air dam. I use the receiver for my 9000 lb. winch so that I can use the winch for pulling whatever. Have pulled stumps, trees, etc. with it with no problem whatsoever. Good heavy duty receiver. Didn't even have to take the tow hooks off. Good purchase. 585641
This Curt front-end receiver hitch was easy to install using common hand tools and a hydraulic jack. It was possible to mount without the jack, but it made the install easier for a single handed job. The instructions were easy to follow and after mounting, I was able to carry 2 bikes on the front of my F-250 and a slide-in camper on the rear. All in all, it was exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it. The model specific fit was perfect for my situation. 633972
This fit perfect and e-trailer’s video was easy to follow for the install. Did it myself in a couple hours. Just used a block of wood to help hold up the center section when I was installing it. This item is everything it's claimed to be. Very well designed, great finish and perfect fit. Installation is easy (for one person) however I recommend watching the installation video for the "Tech Tips" which proved very useful. In the video the truck is on a lift which is ideal, however when working on the ground, space is limited when using a long handle torque wrench. A couple additional tips I found useful are: First, drive onto ramps for the extra clearance when using the torque wrench. When re-using the factory nuts and bolts (18-mm in used front two holes of frame) use 2 of the supplied fishing wires together on the bolts; this keeps them from falling away from the frame while lining them up. Use an 18-mm ratcheted box wrench to remove the inner bolts on the passenger side of the frame when removing factory tie-down brackets For the receiver extending thru the air dam I wanted it to extend thru a hole and not cut out a notch for a factory look. I covered the area with blue painters tape. I measured up from the bottom 4" and marked the tape; took a straight edge and marked tape up from the sides of the receiver tube to mark a 3" square. Next I outlined the 3" square with green painters tape to outline the cut-out area. I used a sharp utility knife to make the cut. Take your time and it cuts very easily. (save the cutout plastic) After installing receiver you can trim the saved cutout to fill in any opening at the bottom. I used with JB Weld to glue the trimmed piece back into place. Install a receiver cover for a clean finished look. All this took 2.5 hours without any extra hands. Thanks etrailer.com! 704574
Very Pleased with this Front Mount Hitch I installed on my 2016 F250 Super Duty. EVERYTHING fit prefect and installation was straight forward. I did this install myself (1 person), If you take your time, work smart, it is very doable for anyone that can turn wrenches. Once the side brackets were bolted to the frame, I used a floor Jack to lift the roll & hitch into place. This makes it an easy 1 person job. I wanted the Hitch in the "upper" position and a nice clean look, so instead of just notching the air dam as is suggested, I took my time and cut a square that allowed the hitch to pass thru from behind. The end result is an install that looks like it was designed to be there. Also I placed painters tape on the air dam so I could use a black sharpie to mark up my opening and easily redo if needed. And yes I redid it a few times till I was satisfied with the planned location. Lastly i was able to drill a hole in all 4 corners of my desired opening and then used a utility knife with a new blade to cut out the opening. Took my time and the results were worth the effort. I have and could have used a rotary tool, yet feel I have better control with a sharp knife. Suggest watching the On-Line Install Video prior to getting started. 2012 install Video was the exact procedure for my 2016. Working alone with no air tools, planning out the air dam opening location, and just taking my time, it took about 2.5 hours to complete the install...... 497768

2014 F-250 FX4. Ordered this hitch on Friday, and received it on Tuesday. Instructions were simple, it took less that 2 hours to install. It made backing my boat around a corner and into my carport easier than I had hoped. I shoulda installed a front-end hitch a long time ago. Very satisfied with the front hitch from Curt. Installed on 2016 F350 4x4. 6.7 diesel. True bolt on hitch. No drilling or modifying. I installed mine in the high position and am using it to carry a motorcycle on front of truck while pulling 5th wheel. Instructions supplied are not great but etrailer has an install video which helps a lot. Took about 1.5 hours for me to install. Needed an 18mm box end wrench rather than ratchet to get 2 of the 8 factory bolts off due to an A/C hose close to bolts. Only hand tools required. Comes with all hardware and pull wires to facilitate install. When fully installed the hitch pin is behind the lower air dam/facia of the truck with only about 2 inches of the receiver tube showing. I purchase this hitch due to the 3 piece construction which gives low and high hitch option and I feel also makes it far easier for single person installation. 734114

Last year I ordered Front end Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch for my 2016 Ford F250 Truck. I was totally satisfied how fast it came as well has how helpful the instructions were online and in the box.
