Manufactured to fit the complex contours of your vehicle, each of these liners is molded into a 3-D shape, complete with raised containment walls, to provide the most coverage possible. Ryan: Hey everybody. Ryan here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline we're going to be taking a look at the Husky WeatherBeater custom auto floor liners. Now, the advantage that these four liners are going to give us is the amount of coverage at the have to offer. Just to give you an example, if we take our rubber factory format and set it in place, right away you can tell that the Husky liners cover a lot more of the carpet. The floor mat'll come all the way up here where your feet rest.
That way you don't have to worry about getting dirty or damaging the carpet underneath, all the way back here. Other than superior coverage of these liners they're going to give us a few more nice features. They're going to have some channels built into the liner, and those are going to help direct water away from your feet, but still keeping it on the mat, not to spill over and damage your carpet underneath. There's going to be a little area here that has some grip. That way you don't have to worry about your feet slipping whenever you're driving, especially when wet.And speaking of slipping, compared to some of the other styles of mats, these are a little more malleable and a little softer, and so you're not going to have to really worry about losing your footing whenever you're going from your gas pedal to your brake pedal, whenever your shoes or boots might be a little wet.
Even towards the back of our Ridgeline, the mat's going to come up right to the base of the seat so you don't have to worry about anything on this end. Now, what I do like is that the liner's still going to utilize the factory anchor points. And to go a step further, if you look on the backside of the liner, it's actually going to have these nibs here which really kind of dig into the carpet and keep the mat nice and secure so you don't have to worry about it sliding around on you.It's really easy to get the floor liners in place. We'll simply pop out our old mat. Let's set it to the side.
And it's always a good idea to, before we put our new ones in, just to vacuum up any dirt or debris that's on the carpet. Once you have the carpets cleaned up, just take our new liner and work it into the floorboard. You can push it down nice and flat. Now, right off the bat, if the edges don't line up perfectly with the threshold or any other part down here, just wait a couple of days, especially in warmer temperatures, and these will kind of mold and form perfectly to the inside of your truck.Passenger side liner is more or less going to share all the same features as the driver's side one. And one thing that I do really like about these liners is how easy they are to clean.
Whenever they do get dirty, instead of having to really scrub them and vacuum everything out of them, all you have to do is pull it out of the truck, and you can rinse it down with your garden hose, let it drip dry, and then pop it back into place. And that'll finish up our look-at of the Husky WeatherBeater custom auto floor liners on our 2019 Honda Ridgeline.
