Easily plug this custom harness into your towed car to get the turn and brake signals you need for flat towing. Unlike other kits out there, this harness protects your vehicle from electrical feedback without you needing to splice in extra diodes.
When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.
This is a completely plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of this kit will be quick and easy.
While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. To connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.
Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.
And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. And once you get all set up, don't forget to send us a review full of pictures so we can see your rig out on the open road!

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Blue Ox Easy Light Towbar Wiring Kit. Now, folks, this is a custom fit, so make sure you're double checking our fit guide at etrailer.com to be sure you have the right parts the first time for your specific setup. Now, what's great about a wiring harness like this is gonna be the fact that when you're towing a car behind your motor home, you're gonna need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the towed vehicle. That way you're safe and legal.
So this kit makes that possible. It simply plugs directly into the connectors behind your tail lights on the towed vehicle and has a built-in modulator box, or like a brain of the system, if you will. So this box here is gonna prevent feedback, make sure all the output, input, wattages, those kind of things are at the right numbers and everything. You get a nice long length of cable, a ground wire, and then you're gonna have your four pole connector right here, and that's what the RV wiring will then meet up with and plug into at the front of the towed vehicle. Then of course, you got your self-tapping screws for a mount to hold this guy in place, and then some cable ties, some dielectric grease in there to keep all the connectors nice, clean, waterproof.
So again, it's a custom plug and play option. We do carry other options here as well that you have to hardwire, and there's just no reason to even mess with that, in my opinion, when you can just simply plug and play and have a nice connection that you're never gonna have to worry about. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for our time together.
As always, we'd love to see some photos of this in use and maybe tell us about your journey, where you're traveling, what you're doing with it, how you like it.
